    Kaison's Theme Song

    Devin x Kaison

    - Kaison watched Sapphire before setting Chomper onto the ground. "Stay with Sapphire." He told the small Pokemon, watching as he roared a bit in slight annoyance before rushing off after the Arcanine. Kaison straightened up and then looked over at Devin, nodding his head. "Come on." He said before beginning to walk in another direction.

Somni calling him "dad" and "pops" (pops just a joking jab at his age) and then suddenly calls him Xiher/Vasili and everyone just confused that he suddenly called him by his actual name. Somni probably only calls him by his actual name during serious situations so it's known that he's not playing around anymore, but Imha on the other hand, calls Vasili "pops" every given chance so it'd be sudden when he suddenly calls Vasili by his name for once lol

A long yawn escaped the young man as he finally found himself waking up from his deep slumber, and had great timing as well. If he had slept any later then 5 more minutes, he would have been late on getting his Pokemon. Thank goodness for his mother for shoving an alarm on his nightstand that was loud enough to wake the entire neighborhood with its repetitive, obnoxious beeping.

A groan left the young boy as he rolled onto his stomach and hit the alarm to make it shut up. Once the silence filled his room and his ears stopped ringing, he sat up and stretched, taking his sweet time as he got out of bed. Usually a kid his age would be rushing to get their starter, but Dailon, he was a bit more chill about the situation. He wasn't in any big rush to get to the professor, but it wasn't like he was disinterested in it, he was excited about getting his starter, well, as excited as he could express. Though his facial expression resembled that of a sleepy baby, he was bubbling inside. He felt like a shaken soda can ready to explode.

Rubbing at his eyes, he sighed heavily. Well, it was time to get ready, he was close to being late if he went any slower. As fast as he could go (or well his body would let him), he went through his morning routine as usual. Once he got around to finishing getting his clothes on, he heard his laptop ding. A notification bell. it was what his dad put on his computer to make sure he knew that he got some mail in his email, mainly because Dailon wasn't the type of person to always check it. Either because he forgets to check it or because he doesn't care enough to do it, aka being lazy.

With a brow of confusion raised, he approached his laptop and turned it back on. He never really got emails anyway because he didn't have any friends, nor did he subscribe to anything that could give him newsletters and stuff like that. So, his email was usually just empty. As he opened it, he saw the one mail that was sitting there. The subject was... intriguing to say the least, and just from reading the preview text, he was drawn even further into curiosity. A small frown formed on his face as he opened up the email and began reading it quietly to himself.

As he read over it, it dawned on him how odd this email was. Just some things about it didn't really add up in his opinion. It was sudden, and felt almost like spam mail with how it talked about him being one of many to be picked. Dailon sighed. Spam mail this early in the morning? Though suppose it can't be helped. He took one last look at the email, scrolling over it and then finding himself staring at the picture attached to it. The more he stared at it, the more he started to become interested. Perhaps he should talk to his parents about it, maybe they know something.

After thinking about it for some time, he finally settled on his decision and closed his laptop.

Once he gathered everything he needed, he walked out of his room and towards the kitchen where his mother would be waiting for him. A soft yawn left his mouth as he grabbed a banana and began to peel it. "Hey, mom." He began as he peeled the banana. "Do you know anything about the Almia region?" He asked.

As the question was bestowed on her, his mother turned her head from her cooking to look at her son. "Almia region? No, I don't suppose I've heard anything of the sort about it." She replied, looking back towards what she was doing again while Dailon pondered over what he had been told. So, his mother had no idea about Almia, and his father couldn't have possibly known anything either. It was too bad he was dead asleep right now, or else he'd ask, but he'd rather not spend any more time at home then he already was trying to wake him. "Why do you ask, dear?" His head lifted when his mother's voice rang in his ears. "Oh, well, I got an email talking about it, and I was just curious is all... they wanted me to go over there and visit, apparently I was one of seven others chosen." He shrugged.

"Oh, is that so?" His mother asked, in which Dailon just nodded. "I was thinking about going, but, I don't know, it might be a scam of something." He yawned into his hand before taking a bite of the banana. "Well, perhaps it isn't?" His mother suggested. "Maybe it'd be best to bring it up to Professor Oak about it, he probably knows something. And if it does turn out to be true, you'll have an even bigger journey ahead, no?" His mother pointed out, which caused a moment of silence to erupt. Taking a moment to think about it, Dailon soon nodded and smiled softly. "Yea... thanks, mom." He gave her a quick hug before quickly leaving the house.

Dailon made his way towards the professor's office and finally meeting Professor Oak. Even though he had been careful to not get here late, it seemed he did the opposite of just that. He had walked in on the five other trainers already getting there Pokemon, though thankfully, much to his relief no one touched the last Bulbasaur still standing. With as much haste as he could force himself to do, he approached the Bulbasaur and stared at it. "Hello, friend." He hummed, watching as the plant happily responded back. "Bulba!~" Dailon picked up the Bulbasaur before perking up when he heard Oak's voice reaching his ears.

"You were late last minute, so I only had this fella left. Though it seems that was the one you wanted anyway." He chuckled. Dailon smiled a bit and nodded. "Yea, I wanted Bulbasaur." He replied. He took a moment to stare at the Pokemon before humming. "Flower Bulb..." As if assuming this was his name, the Bulbasaur blinked and tilted his head. "Saur?" Dailon laughed a bit, rubbing the Pokemon's head. "Ah, Professor, I wanted to ask you something." He said, turning his head towards the much older man. Though he was surprised when he kind of interrupted him. "There was actually something I wanted to bring up to you, Dailon." That was when an envelope was handed to him. He stared at it for a moment, confused until he finally decided to open the envelope and read it.

His eyes scanned over the letter, but he read it very carefully, taking it everything written on it. Ah, so the whole Almia region thing wasn't a scam at all. Well, that was good. At least he knew that this wasn't something sketchy. Though he'd admit the medallion thing was a bit odd. He stared at it after taking it out and letting it rested in his hand for a bit. His partner seemed to be a little interested in the object as well. Dailon frowned a bit before quietly put on the medallion and let it rest against his chest. Since it was against his shirt, the burning pain didn't hurt as much, but he could feel the heat through the fabric of his shirt, which made him jolt and almost wake up fully. Flower looked up at his trainer in concern. "Bulba?" He echoed after his trainer seemed to calm down, Professor Oak seeming to show the same amount of concern as well. "I'm fine, just..." He trailed off, shaking his head after rubbing his head a bit.

His brows furrowed but he focused on the professor against when he started speaking. "I'll be sure to tell your parents about where you're off to, they'll be waiting for you to get leaving to pick up the others." He stated. Dailon nodded, exhaling heavily as he turned and left the building. Once getting outside, he saw a vehicle parked outside, seeming to be waiting for him. He was taken aback when a man came out and approached him. Next thing he knew, he was on the plane. They had stopped a few times to pick up some others, though Dailon didn't really pay attention and was more focused on starting a bond with his partner Pokemon.
