Thistlefang smiled faintly, a grim appoval on her face, "Very well." She thought for a few moments, thinking where to begin, "Well, I don't know the origins where he had came from, and his original name, he never shared. He was once apart of ThunderClan," Thistlefang shifted so that she was laying down, her paws tucked underneath her as her long bushy tail whipped about her, "When he joined ThunderClan, he was first assumed an unwanted being of the matter; always shoved to the side, shunned even as I recall, my daughter, Nightlily did seem to only accept him at the time." Thistlefang seemed to be pained by the memory for a few moments before continuing, "His name was Bloodshatter at that time and he slashed open a great era for ThunderClan, every battle he fought to his limits and every battle he won, the clans feared his name as soon as he got on the battle field, he was a commander, a gernal, and a killer." Thistlefangs eyes darkened as she continued, "Over the moons during his battles he had begun to change, he was thirsty for blood, but-" Thistlefang looked up at the ceiling, "There was one cat, he loved more than battles and life itself, was my daughter. He loved her with all of his heart, though I hate to say it, he treated her well, like without her, he couldn't live. She seemed to be the only one to soothe him at the time after battles and she was always at his side. But, there was something wrong; his face seemed to be changing on one side.. a mark, or the beginning of one was being etched into his face, at first I thought nothing of it, he was perfectly fine and he and my daughter, Nightlily were expecting kits... but I was wrong, I beleave in the exposure of the mark upon his face as Nightlily gazed upon him, it was a..." She thought for a few moments, "Er.. what you young cats call a curse." She heaved a sigh, "Nightlily was so young... she died during the night, no one shows how or why, but one thing I can tell you Yukii is that when I had looked over to Bloodshatter, he was completely destroyed. He was no longer the prod cat he used to be, broken over lost love... though I'm sure it was something more from his history from wherever he came from... though you might want to ask him yourself." Thistlefang stood and yawned, "He left a few moons later, rarely saw him around the camp untiil he left, his story of battles eventually faded into old nursery tales in the clans and the last thing I know is that he formed this empire." Thistlefang's piercing eyes gentled, "Don't take it too hard on him Yuki, he's afraid to loose anyone again. After he lost Niightlily..." She trailed off, remembering her daughter's vibrant personality, she sighed, "Well, he wasn't the same again." Thistlefang turned away and hobbled towards an exit, "Don't tell him I was actually pitying him, 'cause I'm not, he deserved it!" She disappeared into the snow, leaving Yuki behind.

Thistlefang's bushy tail lashed through the air as she continued on her way back to the camp. As soon as she set paw into the camp she felt his eyes burning into her pelt. Turning her broad face towards the directiion of the murderous glare, she saw the faint glint of Oni's eyes before she blinked and he was gone out of her vision. The fur along her spine bristled as the ragged furred she-cat turned away in nervousment. Something about Oni was... different; it reminded her of- she haulted the thought as she stared at the ground, he was.. more cold than usual, something wasn't right.

Oni paced restlessly back and forth in the temple, the lashing of his tail and the scraping of his claws against the floor of the temple seemed to only agitate him more. How much did Thistlefang tell her? What was she thinking? Oni's fur bristled. Oh, how much he wanted to tear his claws through something! He snapped, "Why can't this curse let me be!" He rakes hs claws down the temple side, since he was within his den, he could do as he wished without anyone watching. Leaning his head against the cold temple wall he was attempting to control the flow of the curse. Taking in deep breaths, he paced restlessly again, what he would do to let this curse leave him; it was driving him insane. Oni's liips pulled up iiin a smile, just like his father, Tiger. He looked up at the building, and murmured, "What did I do to deserve this?" He closed his eyes and took in a deep breath and sat down, grooming his ruffled fur. Silently, he got to his paws and padded out to the entrance of the temple, without even looking, he knew Yuki was there, he could recognize her scent by now. Apparently Thistlefang had returned too, since he did see her. His eyes narrowed as he murmured to himself quietly, "Curse her." He glanced up to the sky and stared at the clouds moving by sluggishly.
