    As the training f the medic apprentices was to be shared by all three medics one would fine themselves with more free time. Usually the free time of the medic Darcy would have been taken up by Blair, a gorgeous two-legged feline he'd been dating. Honestly, the day of her disappearance had been horribly untimely because he'd wanted to "pop the pretty question". And no, I don't mean marriage, he'd wanted to take her as a mate first. He was going to ask her to be his mate that very night, but no. She was gone. The fact that she'd just left, got up and gone, tore him apart. He'd spent so long devoting all his time and energy to her, defending her and protecting her. Loving her like no one else ever would, or had for that matter! He'd given her so many chances and she just tore him down without a second thought.


    Now, having heard that Bombshellpaw, the newest medic apprentice, was outside he'd wondered if she was collecting herbs and thought he'd tag along if she was. But not in the mood to run, being just as upset and broken hearted as she was, he hadn't bothered to make an effort when it came to catching up. Instead he was now taking the time to take a stroll down memory lane. But memory lane was a bittersweet place, full of flashbacks of all the good moments that only showed when one was depressed as if to make them even more so.


    As it was Blair he was so sorely missing and upset over it was images of her he saw. In his emerald eyes she was, or had, been perfection, two legs and all! From her burnt sienna coloured optics to her two missing limbs, she'd been perfect to him. To no one but to him... And so flashbacks of her smile, eyes and happy moments they'd shared came back to him, making him need to choke back tears. Even though May was around it wasn't the same and she didn't even come close to healing the hole in his heart for only Blair could do that...


    Hearing the voice of Bombshellpaw the tom-cat hurried forwards, wondering who the medic apprentice had found. Since Blair had gone the male medic had grown into his body a lot more and was now looking more masculine than lanky, slightly taller with Maine coon blood from his mother flowing through his veins he also now sported a pair of nice broad shoulders. Now, with his fiery copper tabby and white pelt and glowing emerald eyes, he was the real deal and maybe that's what made May want him... But being rather athletic it took him but a moment or two to reach her. And the she-cat...


    Emerald eyes widening at her beauty, although because he didn't look like Blair it meant nothing to him. He loved Blair and couldn't care less for the beauty of the she-cat before him. That was when his emerald eyes connected with her eyes, the eyes that looked... That looked like they could belong to Blair. Burnt sienna in colour, beautiful as hers had been but this body wasn't hers and that ruined it for him. His hope that maybe it was her also disappeared when he remembered that this cat had all four limbs, not two like his girl had. Standing beside Bombshellpaw Darcy narrowed his emerald eyes at the she before him. "Well then, Ruby, what is your business here?"

    You've been an amazing friend and I couldn't ask for anything more. The reason why you're leaving is completely logical and for some reason this is making it easier to accept. I'm glad you'll still be around for Magnus though <3
