[color=black]Kelli sighed and took the knife carefully,not bothering to thank them.Why would she? Her eyes were solemnly focused on Luca as she walked over and cut the ropes.She bent quickly and caught him.Supporting him took strength but thank the gods.She had it."Luca.Are you okay?"She asked,surprised her voice was so calm.Considering he'd just been beaten.Don't take it the wrong way,it felt like someone cut her open whenever she looked at his bleeding,bruised body,but she didn't show how much she was scared in front of the other two teens.She cradled him,tangling fingers in his hair,and letting him press his cheek against her chest.

Dakota growled.He never wanted to try out his power...and he wasn't going to try it now."Egyptian hell."He said plainly."Where you'll be taken care of.But I won't send you there.Something else will.But I swear by the Styx.If you tell anyone,I will kill you without giving a second thought.Got it? Good."He gestured for Astrid to come out.He didn't feel like fighting this idiot.It would be a two second fight and Dakota knew he would win."You can come out now."He murmured,turning his back to the boy."We gotta find Kelli and Luca.At least the screaming stopped."

[color=black]"I'd do anything for you."Kelli whispered,stroking his head.Her back stung where she was whipped at least twice and she could feel the blood seeping through her dress,but she didn't care."There you were,and there I was..." She whispered,starting to gently sing as she held him."Was it fate or from above? Either way,I found just what I need...All I do is think of you,close my eyes and fall into a,world that's simply made for you and me."Her eyes welled with tears."Oh don't you know that I love you...I'll never let go of you and in all of my dreams your all I see...so what can I do...but love you?"She started to cry as she cradled him close."Now I've got someone to hold.To keep me warm when I was cold.A little sun to melt away the gray..."(Yes,that is a real song.Just...in case...you were wondering)

Dakota took Astrid's hand and looked back at the boy,snorting."Moron."He walked off in the direction of which the screaming originally came.He frowned as the small clearing was insight.The other two boys were gone and Kelli was holding Luca,singing to him as she cried.He frowned."Should we disrupt?"He asked in a quiet voice so she wouldn't overhear as she calmed Luca down gently.But it looked like Kelli herself needed calming down as tears streamed down her face and landed in Luca's hair and her lap.

Kelli smiled and laughed lightly,voice cracking as she held back her tears."But that's weird,remember?"She whispered,closing her eyes.Her body shook as she let out a sob."Luca,I could've lost you and I wouldn't be able to get you back."She murmured as he reached up and wiped her stray tears."I wouldn't be able to live anymore...a-and I'd never...ever love again."She buried her face in his hair and breathed in what was left of his scent.Memories flashed in her mind.She remembered waking up at the age of thirteen,sprawled across Luca's bed.She'd gotten hurt and Luca found her unconscious,taking her back to his house.That was the first time she'd ever laid eyes on him and his whole room smelled of what she was catching whiffs of in his hair.Cinnamon.She loved cinnamon and she loved Luca."When we move to Sicily....can we start something,Luca? A real relationship...like getting married?"

Dakota watched,surprised as Kelli confessed she wanted to get married.His eyes widened."No way! They can't get married..."He whispered to Astrid.Maybe it was because he was a boy,but that didn't seem so romantic.It seemed random,and yet,Astrid was enjoying herself as she watched.He sighed and rolled his eyes.She was barely listening,too focused on watching the couple talk.He turned his attention back on them also.

I didn't mean right away,silly."Kelli whispered,wiping her eyes."Sixteen is super young.We can date for a bit longer.I wanted to get married in my twenties anyway."She smiled at him and rested her chin on his head with a yawn.She started to doze after a few seconds,head falling limp and snapping back up again.She was trying to stay awake."You can sleep."She yawned,feeling a little guilty.

Dakota nodded and stepped out."Hey guys! Thanks for ditching us!"He said sarcastically in a cheery voice that made Kelli jump."We totally love getting left behind 24/7!"He continued."And,you know what? We totally came out here for no apparent reason because you two are so overly capable of fending for yourselves!"He smiled falsely and suddenly his face got serious."What the heck is wrong with you guys!?"He spat."You both could've gotten killed!"

Kelli looked up sharply,startled out of her mind.She got a bitter taste in her mouth when Astrid mentioned the marriage."W-What!? You were spying on us the whole time!?"She hissed,upset."And what's wrong with getting married? Like I'm sure you've heard,I said twenties!"Her eyes burned with irritation.How dare they?"We were only thinking about the future.We're not gonna date forever!"

Dakota scoffed."What's wrong with talking about marriage? Maybe the fact it'll get in the way of our journey.And you never know! People that have those kinda thoughts at such a young age have issues and are unclean."He stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Astrid,glad she was on his side."Thinking about marriage is insane!"

[color=black]Kelli snarled."Who knows!?"She sneered,eyes hard.When Luca talked bad about Dakota all she did was snicker.Thats what they get.They had no right to come up and make them feel bad about their future plans.She suddenly realized Dakota could kill him and her eyes widened."Luca,sweetie....It's not a good idea to talk trash."She whispered,jumping back when Dakota got this possessed look on his face."Uh-oh."

Dakota's eyes were hard like stone.He unsheathed his sword,in a daze.The insult sent him over the edge completely.When he spoke it was eerie and unsettling."Mom always said I couldn't tell others.I never new why.Now I stand here,realization dawning on me.People are jerks and they would never.EVER.understand."He pointed the blade underneath Luca's chin."O-One...little,accidental jerk of my hand and the sword goes through your skull."Hysteria took over and Dakota started laughing,in absolute craziness."Don't worry about a thing."He cackled."But I almost forgot.You're son of Hades.You like death? I don't mind giving it out the painful way."

[color=black]Kelli backed up as Dakota's dead eyes fixated on her.She froze,rigid with fear.She knew no amount of pleading would stop him from killing her.Astrid was the only one who could really get under Dakota's skin.But Dakota normally let off vibes of upbeat energy and fun,but now he made her feel depressed and suicidal."P-Please don't hurt me,D-Dakota."Her voice shook and she pressed her back against a tree.

Dakota smirked.An evil,devilish one."Torture...I will torture you."His mouth twitched.His brain was completely shut off and he could hear whispering.Whispering that was driving him mad.Chanting horrible incantations that reminded Dakota of burials and rituals he'd experienced at a young age.His eye twitched and he tightened his grip on the sword.He walked toward Kelli."Maybe I'll cut a smile into that pretty face of yours....so you'll never frown again.You know? We...we all look much better when we smile,Kelli.Sad faces aren't permitted." His voice went from evil to sadistic as he bent down next to her shaking figure.When Luca brought up his mother it was like cracking at egg.All the pain,suffering,craziness,insanity...all the stuff he had to fight alone began to come out.

Kelli gasped when Luca returned."Luca! What are you doing?"She whispered,but grabbed his arm.She stuck to him like glue,eyes wide.She mouthed 'poke him.' to Astrid,silently begging her to do it.She gasped when she did and Dakota got a weird look on his face.As if he came back to reality.

Dakota winced when she cut his neck with the dagger slightly.He held his neck,turned to look at Astrid,and frowned."Holy s***.That hurt."He grumbled."I hope your ready for a lawsuit,lady."His eyes rolled back and he fainted,landing on the ground with a loud thud.He looked like a stunned animal as he lay sprawled and as his tongue lolled from his mouth.But for one he certainly looked more peaceful and way less insane.

Kelli gulped as Astrid snapped at them and she locked eyes with Luca temporarily.She sighed,fatigue setting in.Her hand drifted to Luca's chest and she placed her hand there,closing her eyes.She felt his heartbeat and matched it to hers.Extremely fast."Let's just...rest."She whispered and rested her head on his shoulder,gulping and falling asleep.(Skipping to the next morning)

Dakota's eyes fluttered open.He frowned,looking around.He was confused.He spotted Kelli and Luca,looking pale and scarred a little ways away.Next to him slept Astrid.His head throbbed and he gagged,suddenly throwing up in the grass beside him.His eyes glazed over.The poison knocked him out but now it was setting in.He wiped his mouth,feeling like he'd puke again."A-Astrid?"He shook her wildly,scared."Astrid...? What happened? I'm sick...like...puking!"He couldn't remember his insane phase.He leaned over and vomited again,not being able to stop for awhile.He held his stomach as he did so.

That sucks...well,I have science fair coming up *sobs*

Kelli grumbled as Dakota woke her up.Her eyes fluttered open and she shifted her eyes,making a face when she saw Dakota throw up."Gross..."She whispered,covering her ears in disgust.She buried her head in Luca's neck,trying to drift back to sleep."Did he have to do this now?"Her breath ghosted against Luca.

Dakota groaned,holding his stomach."Sure.I'll just magically stop being sick,Astrid."He said sarcastically.He closed his eyes and shuddered.He wrinkled his nose at the stench."Ugh....disgusting."His whispered,head still hurting.He rarely got sick so this was like a slap in the face.Last time he was puking,which was all day,he'd...gotten poked with his dagger.He scowled and immediately looked over at her."Did you cut me with my dagger?"He asked,a little angry.

Dakota scoffed."That's so not true!"He said,incredulous."Why...why would I try to kill my friends?"He asked,getting a little panicky.Was he crazy? No...no way.His face flashed all sorts of different expressions.Confusion,surprise,disbelief."Did I actually hurt anyone?"He met his girlfriend's eyes and held back a sickening urge again.He groaned.

Kelli yelped when Luca pulled away and she fell forward."Ow..."She grumbled,sitting up uncomfortably."Thanks."She grumbled as Luca walked off.She looked over at Dakota and immediately sneered angrily.She was pissed now.Not afraid or scared.Just ticked."Oh,so you don't remember? Almost cutting a smile in my face,idiot!?"She snapped at him.She didn't care how sick or innocent he looked.

Leila was snoring until Luca kicked her."H-Huh!?"She let her eyes fly open and she rubbed them."Don't kick me,moron..."She yawned,stretching."Anyway,what do you want?"She looked up at him and gasped when she saw the cuts on his back."Ah! What happened!?"She stood abruptly,almost stepping on Marcus as she did."What stupid stunts were you and Kelli pulling now!?"

Dakota gulped,feeling guilty.His head throbbed and he could only let out a whimper.It was a pitiful whimper of pain."I'm...gonna...go."He managed and stood with difficulty,knees wanting to buckle."I need somewhere to throw up and I'm guessing neither of you want it here."He made his way into the forest,heading to a fast flowing creek.

Kelli hissed at them both,not caring where Dakota went."It would be my pleasure to get away from you stupid people."She stood without another word,brushed her dress off,and stormed into the opposite side of the outstretching forest.Her footsteps and mumbling faded into silence as she disappeared.

Leila yelped as Marcus pulled on her arm,making her stumble."Marcus! I'll be right back,okay? Just hold on a moment."She pulled off of him,kissed his lips,and followed Luca in a rush.She grabbed berries,leaves,and flowers on the way,counting the ones she'd gotten on her fingers.Sooner than later the foul stench of vomit met her nose and she pushed her way through the bushes.Alone sat Astrid who looked upset,angry,and concerned and all around her was a disgusting yellowish/white liquid.She showed no signs of disgust as she walked through the puddles of puke."Where'd Dakota go?"She asked Astrid,kneeling beside her.

Dakota sat hunched,throwing up.His head throbbed and he threatened to black out.The poison was still coursing through his blood.He groaned,unable to bring anything up after awhile so he sat dry heaving.His heart rate was through the roof and fever started to set in.He could barely open his eyes when he heard his friends walking over."Go away...I might puke on you."His voice was slurred and sickly.

Leila gasped and ran over."Oh my gods,Dakota! What the heck happened to you!?"Her eyes were wide and round like saucers.She turned him to her and wiped his mouth with her hand,no disgust in her eyes.She was just plain worried."Eat these right now! No arguments!"She basically force fed him mint leaves and holly berries."This should stop you from throwing up for awhile.Anyway,what happened? I need different medicine for different problems."

Adrian opened his eyes slowly and blinked a few times.Rest helped him regain sanity."Mmhm."He smiled at her toothily,but bags were under his eyes.His body forced itself up and he looked around."Where is everyone?"He spotted Marcus snoring his heart out and walked over."Hey! Marcus,wake up."He nudged him.

Dakota gagged at the taste."Poison.I'm not sure what happened but Astrid found it necessary to knock me out with poison."He complained,squeezing his eyes shut to block out the throbbing and pain in general."Need to know anything else before you shove leaves down my throat again? Wanna make sure you know everything before I choke and die."He grumbled,leaning his head back against the tree he was hunched next to.

Leila screeched when Dakota told her poison."WHAT!? You should've told me that moron! You need to throw up! UGH! Boys are so stupid!"She turned to Luca."Do you know what yew leaves are? If you do then go get some please.I need to heal this idiot and lower his fever.Yew will make him puke and lower his temperature."She spoke quickly,medicines and cures going through her brain at maximum velocity.Healing was just her specialty."Also,can you get some food? Any food.Meat,bread,anything."She
asked.

Kelli stepped out of the bushes,steaming loaves of bread and freshly grilled meat in a little picnic basket."I found food..."She murmured."And judging by what you just...screamed...you want some?"She set the basket beside Leila and ignored Luca,angry at him.He chose to bring his fat ass here and watch Dakota puke rather than help her do something useful.What happened to the love they shared early last night? Getting married and having kids? Where did that Luca go? Her face turned sour as she lingered on the thought.She crossed her arms all poutylike.

Adrian frowned."So you let your girlfriend just wonder off?"He rolled his eyes."You know what? Never mind."He murmured,looking at Elise and taking her hand."I gotta suspicion the cut person and vomiting guy both belong in our group.We should go find them."He looked down at Marcus and snorted."Are you coming? Because we're about to get moving and you'll be the only one here,Dirt Mouth."He watched Marcus with an annoyed expression.He was upset they were left behind sleeping like idiots while serious stuff must've been happening.

Leila rolled her eyes."Of course I still need yew! It has red berries...you know! Poisonous? I need Dakota puking here.So go!"She snapped,turning back to her patient."Go help him Kelli.You two are inseparable."She didn't look away from Dakota as she felt his temperature and force fed him food.Bread,meat,berries.Everything.

Kelli grunted when Leila spoke.She wanted nothing to do with Luca until he proves he was sorry and she didn't want any boring apology.She wanted him to make her feel good.She marched past him,murmuring 'Red berries.Poison.Cant miss it.'She walked off without him,looking in every direction she could.Well,all accept his direction.

Adrian was glad Marcus made it easy and sighed,walking into the woods.He decided not to start screaming for them.It was irrational.All they had to do was look.He sighed."I'm surprised you let Leila leave."He joked."You guys are like...stuck together."

We're totally just gonna keep going generation to generation to generation XD But sure.Once they get to Sicily...I guess I should start looking for pictures

Kelli's head whipped around when the berry went down her dress."A-Ah! What was that?"She growled at him,angrily."Are you purposefully trying to mess with me!?"Her eyes burned noticeably."You know what? Look somewhere else,Luca.Do not follow me..."She didn't wait for him to say anything and disappeared into the woods.She crossed her arms and huffed loudly,still looking.

Adrian rolled his eyes."Of course."He made his way to the stream,grateful when they spotted Dakota and Leila."Where's everyone else?"He spoke up,looking around."I'm guessing here...but did Luca and Kelli go running off again? And what about Astrid?"He noticed they seemed to be missing out on everything.

Leila jumped and smacked Dakota in the face with the bread on accident."Ugh! You guys scared me! Kelli and Luca went to get Yew Leaves and Astrid...disappeared."She shrugged,making Dakota eat the bread that his face was recently attacked with.She gestured them over."Just stay here.Marcus,baby,come here please."She waved him over without looking."I'd like a kiss please."

Dakota groaned as he forced himself to swallow."Stop torturing me!"He cried,leaning his head back miserably."I don't want anymore food and I certainly don't want to see you and Marcus make out while I'm sick.You might as well not need the Yew Leaves.I'll be projectile vomiting if you and him start showing any signs of affection toward each other.Wait till we get to Sicily.You can have kids and everything there.My rules are no making out and no kid making while I have eyes and ears."

Dakota groaned when Luca came from the bushes with the Yew Leaves in hand."Maybe I should digest some of this food first...? I'll be vomiting all day with those stupid berries and all this meat,cheese,and bread."He complained,huffing.His eyes widened when Astrid came pushing through,an actual— real,real Khopesh.He nearly fainted."Whoa! Astrid where'd you...buy...weapon!?"

Kelli came back with her own Yew,surprised to see everyone there.She sighed and saw that Luca already got some.She crossed her arms and tapped her foot,dropping the berries."Great..."She whispered,noticing Astrid had gotten a Khopesh.She might as well have written 'I'm an Egyptian! Whip me to death!'on his head.

Leila looked up at Elise."No,no.We're fine.Thanks though."She turned back to Dakota and rolled her eyes."Shut up and eat the berries."She shoved them in his mouth."Go over by your puke tree.STAY there."She let Dakota trudge over and sit on a rock.She watched the River flow smoothly with a sigh as she settled beside Marcus again.

Adrian frowned."Why did you guys leave? I feel like an idiot for not knowing you guys were gone! What if something happened!?"He addressed Kelli,Luca,Astrid,and Dakota,who was staring at the weapon in Astrid's hand like a stray dog wanting grilled meat.

Dakota smiled at her."It's fine....if I really was trying to hurt my friends...I deserve this punishment through and through."He closed his eyes as the sick feeling suddenly returned and his head started to pound again.His face contorted and he forced his eyes open,silently telling Astrid to move as nausea rolled over him like waves on the ocean shore.He groaned loudly,the berries causing him more pain than before.

Kelli didn't push him away but she didn't press against him like she normally would've.She tried not to sigh contempt when his breath tickled her ear.She sighed more miserably instead.Her back stung,her eyes burned,and her body was weak.Her eyes closed and she spoke quietly.She tried not sob."Yeah.Sure."She wasn't feeling very 'good' like she wanted him to make her feel.She felt like crap and his corny love talk wasn't making her feel any better.

Adrian snorted.Kelli and Luca payed them no mind and Marcus was being stupid.Nothing new was really happening.He took and held Elise's hand,walking her to the stream's riverbank.He sat and dipped his sandaled,sore feet in the water.He didn't care if the others didn't pay them any mind.He would focus on Elise and she'd focus on him.If the world turned their backs then the two would protect each other.

Leila rolled her eyes."It was a metaphor,baby."She kissed his lips and sat on his lap,hooking her legs around his lower back as they intwined together.She bent her head and started moving her lips against his,tangling her fingers in his messy hair.She heard the disgusting sound of Dakota puking and realized he must've spotted their oncoming make out session.

Kelli twirled the ends of her blonde hair sadly."Listen...it's not exactly about the fact you came after Dakota.Actually,if I'm honest with myself,it wasn't that at all."She looked at her feet,biting her bottom lip nervously."I think...I think..."She got teary eyed and shook her head."Just never mind.I'll tell you before it gets noticeable.But not now,okay?"(Just roll with it.Kelli= pregnant XD Don't ask me when they got the time to do this because I got no idea...they just didn't know she got preggos)

Adrian sighed."Pretty much.My parents loved me of course,but it seemed like they favored Astrid,Rosie,and Felix way more.I was the 'runt.'"He looked up and got a far away look,like he was imagining his childhood."How about you?"He managed quietly,voice cracking.He shook his head sadly.

Leila smiled and scowled when Dakota purposefully made exaggerating nosies."Shut it Dakota! Over dramatic much?"She focused back on Marcus and held his head,both of her soft hands on his cheeks.She lifted his head and kissed his nose gently,smiling.

Kelli smiled."I will."She kissed his lips and closed her eyes,scared.It was a stupid mistake.She shouldn't have been messing around with Luca.It started off innocent and playful but ended a little more seriously than meant to.She looked around.If Luca was gonna be a father then he needed to know."If you must know...follow me,okay?"She took his hand and walked him into the woods.

Adrian smiled."It's fine.Don't worry."He wrapped an arm around her shoulders and closed his eyes.He couldn't wait to settle down peacefully in Sicily with Elise.He let his mind wonder.To happy times.Stuff they'd be able to do.Peacefulness and quiet.He sighed happily,leaning his head on top of hers.

Leila giggled and stared up at him,throwing arms around his neck and forcing him on top of her.She rolled over so she was on him.Her face brightened more than it had in days as she kissed his cheek then his neck.She stayed at his neck,tangling fingers through his hair as she kissed under his jawbone."You're the weak one."She whispered.Her eye twitched when Dakota hacked louder,still puking."Stop watching us Dakota!"She yelled,flustered.
