Smoothpaw looked down at her paws. " well... I don;t really have any friends so I don't have anyone to sun with." she said. smoothpaw lied back down on the sunningrocks and gave an almost silent purr.

" I don't think so. I've never seen him with anybody else except talking to me. Why?" Smoothpaw asked. Did she already have a thing for Greypaw? she thought.

" what is it moon, is their a problem?" Smoohtpaw asked with concern.

Smoothpaw smiled. She let out a long yawn. " Great starclan, if I get any more tired I'd end up confused, not knowing what to do!" Smoothpaw looked at Leafpaw and started thinking. I wonder how she could have enough energy to still be up and not say anything about it!

Smoothpaw was stunned for a moment. Someone wants to be my friend? Wow! she thought. " Thanks, I would love to be your friend!" she said after she recovered from her short timed shock.

Smoothpaw gave herself a quick wash. " good night Leafpaw." she whispered. Then she fell asleep.

Smoothpaw smiled again. " well, i guess any other cat would say the same about their clan, our clan is strong, brave, loyal and friendly. But we'll put our lives on the line to protect our clan, just like our leader!" she said. speaking of our leader, what's keeping her? she thought.

Smoothpaw smiled at both of them. She was happy to see she didn't have to be alone with moon on this.

She looked up at darkfall. " you're part cat to?" she said with amazement. "I thought I was totally alone." she looked down at the ground.

Shafts of greenleaf light shone into the den. Smoothpaw began to stir and woke up. She stretched and shook of the scraps of moss from her pelt. She started to give herself a thorough wash.

smoothpaw stretched. She let the shafts of light warm up her fur. i've finaly got a friend. she thought.

Serena stood up. " ok... now what?" she looked at her jet black pelt in dismay.

Serena looked around. " I know this is kind of random, but has anyone else noticed that when their in the forest it feels better than being inside? spacificaly in the forest!" Serena backed up into a tree an leaned back, covering her face with her bangs, hiding her eyes.
