They were crying. " downpaw didn't deserve this!" the she cat cried. her brother was licking her pelt dry. Anger was coming off of him in waves. " if thornpaw and his group hadn't tourmented her she wouldn't have gone to the river and drowned!" he hissed. she cried harder. " we will avenge your death." he said, looking up. " you will not die in vain."

Taine felt guilty for lying to him, but this time she was going to handle this on her own.

A group of forsaken marched by. " them." she whispered. she walked out with serena and Linth. the group puled out their wepons. " what are your..." a male started, then looked up. " wait. your derek and Alis kids!" he said. the group shared a look of surprise.

He looked up. " are you from starclan?" he asked. she looked up in surprise.

He opened ciel's door and said, " i will meet you at the mantion when i find tyler and bring him back if you'd like." he said.

Taine covered her face. " what is this?" she asked herself.

" was he a white tom with brown claws?" he asked. She growled, staring at the white tom named thornpaw.

Taine looked out the window and saw it. she screamed in fear.

The group surrounded them and welcomed them warmly. They all smiled.

"that's him." he snarled.She put her nose to downpaw's flank. "her bodys so cold." she said sadly.

He nodded and shut his door. he backed away and began his search.

One of them patted Gynth's back. " hey1 come on. it's been a while since i've seen you so join the welcome group!" he said pushing him in.

"shut up!" she yelled back up. " it was sudden!"

"one mama heals she'll ask to come with you. but right now she doesn't want to burden you since she's injured." Swift said. " do we look ok?" total asked.

They both bent their heads down. "why are you so concerned about her anyway?" he asked. "maybe he's her mate in starclan." she told him, not trying to be mean.

SAbastian talked to serene, who was searching for cody, and she went and told marissa.

Taine nodded and pulled her head in again. "by the way, weres my pocket knife?" she asked.

They all greeted Gynth too. everyone was smiling happily. some were laughing while others were asking them questions like, "what level are you?" and "when'd you get back?"
