"I don't think you really care. I don't care how you're doing." He said it without any emotion.

Matt seemed much more curious now. "The zoo, huh? How'd ya get out?"
-
Near didn't move, if he was going to get hurt, then he'd get hurt. Perhaps he'd die, perhaps someone would save him. He didn't care much ether way.
-
Near quietly followed Dogface, wondering why he'd turned away from such an easy target as himself.
-
Near followed quickly without question, having already figured out Dogface's plan. He'd heard of the Elite but never had any reason to come in contact with them.
"Do you really plan on killing those in charge here, Dogface? I happen to know a few loners who'd also be of some help." -
The loner she-cat watched the heartwarming scene from a tree not to far off. Tears fell from her eyes. To have a family.... a home. Someone who keeps the cold of night away, to hunt for you when you fall ill, to defend you when you can't fight any longer... You should be glad you have a family, little one. For not all of us do. She shivered against a chilling breese.
-
The escort was a small white tom, his fur curled around a weak frame. His petite figure made Dagface seem huge in comparison. He wanted to head elsewhere soon, he had nothing against Dogface, he simply saw no benefit to the outing. For now though, he'd wait to see where it all went.
-
Lawliet waited to see if Forest had anything else to say.
Suddenly a brown she-cat bolted from the woods, nearly colliding with Lawliet.
"Come with me, please." He nodded to her, gave a short goodbye to Forest and left with the she-cat. -
"My name is Taylor." Said the loner. "Do you wish something of me?"
-
A lithe black tom entered the camp, sniffing the ground. He saw the teary eyed kit and decided to take a break from his tracking and comfort the frighten young one. His aqua eyes looked at the kit with kindness and an intensity previously present.
"Are you alright?" he mewed in a rather deep tone. -
"No, I was only part of a clan as a kit and it didn't work out well. I am only here because my paws led me here."
-
"Thank you for your kindness. I see little of it in my travels." Taylor looked to the forest, questions filling her mind, clouding her thoughts.
-
The tom's eyes darkened. "What kind of cat kills kits?" He didn't approach the kit, not wanting to frighten her away.
-
"I just wonder what ever happened to my family, I was an apprentice when they all just up and disappeared. Then there is my friends, if we weren't such restless spirits, we'd be a clan. Though, not like any clan you'd see in the forest now." She chuckled, her eyes light despite the gravity of the topics.
-
He nuzzled the kit's fur. "Where is your mother? Who is taking care of you?"
-
"Hey, hate to take off, but Mello might need me. If you continue heading west from here you'll get where you're going, Dragonclaw and Songspirit." With that, Matt started walking away.
-
"I've been investigating it sense I was nine moons old when they disappeared." She looked sad. "I haven't even found a clue, in all fourteen moons I've lived without them." The prevous light returned to her eyes. "I haven't been alone though. I was found by a very kind tom, I'm sure he got an honorable welcome to StarClan at the begining of leafbare."
-
The tom smiled. "Looks like we have something in common. My name is Mello."
-
"I'm Taylor" The loner answered for Mosstail.
-
"Wherever Mello went." Matt answered simply.
