Kai gave a look of confusion, "Why are you complimenting me? Are you trying to toy with my mind?" He asked, and sighed as he noticed he was running low on water. Kai hobbled back a few steps, the numbness in his leg slowly creeping upward, and it grew harder and harder to walk with each step. "Kasai! Do you have a plan or something?! I could use the help!" He almost fell backward as his leg hit another root, then gasped as an idea flooded his mind. With his free hand, he concentrated on the root and the water flowing inside of it, then with a thrust of his arm, shot the root toward his opponent, directed towards his legs.

Satric grinned, "This is actually pretty fun, wish I could do this more ofte-" The sentence was cut short by the fact that he had barely missed a shot of fire, though he could feel the heat singe his eyebrows. "Hey! No fair!" He whined, then hopped up and continued with a few low jabs to the abdomen.

Kai sighed in frustration and shook his head, "No, it's messing with my head, like I'm not sure if your the enemy or not." He confessed, and it was true, it brought back memories of practicing with the water tribe. Though he recovered as quickly as he had been distracted, it was always a hard transition from water to plant, since most plants were more rigid than others that he could bend. Dropping his stance to a more low and grounded one, Kai raised his arms and the root rose up above Sadau, then throwing his arms down, causing the root to shoot down toward his mid-section, not necessarily trying to kill him, just incapacitate the enemy.

Satric gasped and dove to the side, dodging the fire by a hair, "Wowie! I keep forgetting how dangerous you benders are, all the more reason to take you down!" He had switched into a childish manner for a second, but it dissipated, and he'd switched back into combat mode. "This isn't going to work..." He mumbled to himself, then backed up a few steps, looking and waiting for an opening.

Kai gulped, just listening to that horrid sound of the blade made it easy to picture his head coming clean off. "Kasai! They've got blades!" Kai took a few steps back, the root was destroyed, and the water had evaporated after he'd taken his focus off of it. "Greeaat..." He had no more weapons or tricks, nothing else to use as a weapon.

Satric tilted his head in with a grin, his chest heaving in and out, "You don't just insult my jokes and expect to come out of this with at most three limbs." He too took out his two blades and started to strode toward Kasai, his blades in an 'X'.

Kai stumbled as his arm was yanked behind his body, causing the rest of him to whip around and attempt to continue running. He didn't get far until the numbness in his leg spread again, and soon he wasn't able to move it, so Kai hobbled on one leg behind Kasai. "This isn't going to work Kasai, my leg is temporarily disabled and I'm just going to slow you down, I can try to distract them for a second though while you run, so don't worry about me." Kai stopped, partly because he had almost tripped, then turned around and meekly raised his fist, as his one arm also wasn't working correctly. "Stupid chi blocking" He mumbled under his breath.

Satric grinned "This'll be fun! Looks like the dogs'll get a little fox chase after all!" Satric sprinted toward Kasai, a knotted grin plastered to his face, his blades in hand. He'd left the injured one to Sadau to handle, chasing the able bender seemed more fun and exciting! As a result of a little thinking, Satric decided to try and flick one of the blades towards Kasai's ankle or lower leg in order to incapacitate him, hoping he'd at least him something.

OMF I'm so sorry! I feel so disconnected from everything! School has rendered me defenseless to the many posts! But I'll attempt to jump back in!

Gavin woke for the third time now, yes, just now he was waking up, he'd felt tired this morning, so he decided to sleep the day away and do nothing but sleep. Yawning, he sat up and stretched, his tail from the incident curled in return. He stood up sleepy eyed and walked over to the closet, after picking out a sweatshirt and pants, he walked out in the direction of the kitchen for food. He was completely oblivious to the whereabouts of his friends.

Kai looked hurt, then with a frown and furrowed brow, he dropped his arms. "At least I have a friend or two worth fighting for, only reason you say that is probably because the closest thing you have to 'friends', are your co-workers, and that's at best." He spat out sourly, though he didn't feel like physically fighting anymore, and he had nothing else to lose, so why not throw out an insult or two.

Satric grinned, finally making some progress. "Now that that's all said and done, you have to choices, the easy way, or the hard way, your choice." He added a little bit of a gangster accent into the words, even though they're not real, just pretend he did. He went and grabbed his other blade, which had skidded to the right of Kasai, not too far away, though it was covered in a thin layer of blood.

Kai started to worry for a moment, his opposer looked like he was about to snap and go berserk on him. He was slightly relieved when he started talking, though tensed up again at the last words. After that, all he could feel was a tingling-pain, like if you hit a nerve, except twice as painful than that. But soon after, he felt nothing at all, and collapsed to the ground like a ragdoll, his eyes stared blankly up at the sky and his thoughts were slurred. Panic flooded his chest, but he couldn't do anything except lay there and stare into space, which increased the panic. What's going to happen to Kasai? The thought swam into his mind, he was worried, but something about how he'd said 'you're too valuable to just kill off' reassured him somewhat.

Satric laughed a bit, then sighed, "Y'know, I like you, and if you weren't a bender, then I think we'd get along well, too bad it's come to this." He reached into the pouch of his pocket and dug out a small vile with a clear liquid, "Since I'm not necessarily sure I'd be able to sedate you without giving a concussion, they gave me this, but don't worry, it won't hurt! If anything, it'll feel good, then you'll go to sleep for a while. So just quit the fight for a little, because it looks to me that your friend over there is done already." He jabbed a thumb over his shoulder to the collapsing body and the figure over it, then slowly poured the liquid into the large cut in Kasai's leg.

Gavin had been looking out a window happily until a burst of light had knocked him off his feet. It took him a few minutes to clear the spots from his eyes, but he instantly knew something was terribly wrong. He ran outside and squinted up at the sky, he saw two figures clashing, and he noticed one was Alex. "If that's Alex, then the other one must be.....oh...oh no, no no no no." He sprinted out of the tree and into the forest where it'd be safe, "Rachel must be in danger if he's here." Gavin thought as he ran deeper into the forest, "We all are..."

Gavin looked over his shoulder, then gasped as he looked forward and nearly bumped into the man carrying Rachel. He stumbled and hit the ground hard, wincing, he looked up at the man, "What the heck are you doing?!" He asked, then looked to Rachel and his eyes widened. "Put her down!" He ordered, staggering to his feet. "Or you'll regret it."

Gavin's face flushed, his tail brushed up against his hand and he pushed it away. "Right" He nodded, but before running, he snatched the gun from the man's hand, then followed Rachel. "Do you know what's going on? All I know is that Alex and the King are going all out on each other, but something's extremely wrong." He looked up at the sky, the rapid darkening gave him chills. "Whatever the end of this is, it won't be good."

"Rachel! It's too dangerous! It'd be best just to leave them to it!" Gavin placed a hand on her shoulder, the gun firmly in his other hand at his side. His tail whipped from side to side, fear and worry covered his face and his body language showed it clearly. "This isn't a fight either of us can win, this is between Alex and his brother. It would be best if we both found shelter and watched from there."

Gavin sighed and dropped his head in frustration. "Yeah, I better go see if she's alright." He walked into the tree, and had a pretty good idea of where he was supposed to be going to find her. He cautiously walked into the training area when he saw the busted punching bag.

"Oh god." Gavin rasped, he looked to the door that was shut that led to the office where the family was, "This, is ridiculous..." The words left his mouth before he could think about them. "I've made up with my brother, mostly, and I know it's not that hard, even through everything Alex and his brother have went through!"

"Haha, yep." Is all Satric said as he lifted the other boy up onto his shoulders like on would with an animal and followed his companion. "I don't see the point in taking these benders alive though, I mean, it's unlikely that they have much helpful information, right?"

How am I still conscious? Kai thought to himself, though he wished he were unconscious, his entire body felt numb and contact was a weird tingling sensation. He couldn't move his mouth at all, just stare wide eyed into space as he was carried, getting a glance of what was going on every once in a while when his limp body bounced.

Satric smiled at the others, "This was a whole lot easier than I expected! How much of a fight did your benders put up?" He asked whoever wanted to offer an answer. He dropped the bender off his shoulders, giving them a break, though he winced as he heard the hard thump of the body hitting the ground. "Whoops..." Satric mumbled, stretching his arms.

Oh spirits, oh spirits help me! Kai's heartbeat sped up at the sound of other voices, indicating that he was basically in the middle of the enemies. He couldn't see anything but the guys back, but maybe he could pick something up from what they say, hopefully them being unaware of his consciousness. Unfortunately for Kai though, his captor's shoulder dug into his stomach and released a low moaning sound from his throat.
