"Good morning, girl." Jake said, rubbing the top of her head as he walked past her to go to the kitchen. The coffee was done so he poured himself a cup. He then thought about what he was going to do for breakfast.

"What do you want for breakfast?" he asked Jossé. He knew she couldn't "speak" but he felt at times that she actually understood everything he said. "We have eggs and sausage if you'd like that."

"Alright then," he chuckled as he rubbed her head again. "I'll make some extra sausage just for you." It didn't take Jake long to scramble up a few eggs and fry up a dozen sausage links. He chopped up Jossé's sausage into smaller bites as well as mixed it with some scrambled egg so the food would be more filling. He gave her her plate before sitting at the table with his.

"Wow..." Jake said. "I never thought I would have to tell my partner not to play with their food...I'm only teasin' girl. That was rather impressive."

Jake had finished his food and made his way into the kitchen.
"Here, let me help you with that, girl." he said as he took the plate from her and set it in the sink with his. "The Chief said they had something planned for us today." he said looking at her. "I have no clue what it is, but we will find out at 8:00. I'm not sure what we could do until then. To be honest, I am kinda anxious to see what they have in-store for us."

"Oh no ya don't." he replied as he dove after her. They continued to swim around for several hours. They decided to take a break only when their stomachs began to drowned out the sound of their swimming. They pulled their tired and drenched bodies ashore and fried off a little before they started to set up for lunch.

Jake quickly changed into a sleeveless shirt and his jogging shorts before he slipped on his running shoes. He made sure to grab her leash, thought he doubted he would need it. She was really good about not running off...but it always had it just in case.
"Alright, girl...let's go." he said and they headed out the door.

"Alright, alright...I'm coming." he said as she waited impatiently by the gate. "Stay close now." he added as they went through the gate. They started off on there routine jog down the road.

Jake was glad when they finally came to a stop. The spot they rested at was secluded and surreal. The sun was just starting to peak over the horizon, turning the sky an orangish-pink that reflected in the water.

"You don't have to do that." he replied as he grabbed the picnic basket.

OOC: My internet is down until Friday, (I am at a friends for the night so that is how I am posting) so I won't be able to post to much until then.

Jake went and sat by his partner and they enjoyed the sunrise together. As the sun started to rise higher, Jake said they had to go get ready for work so they got up and began to make their way home.

OOC: Sorry about the inactivity, my internet is down until Friday, (At a buddies for the night so that is how I am posting) so I won't be able to post much until then.

"I mean, you don't have to if you don't want to." He replied. "I don't want you to feel like you're obligated to need to do things for me."

OOC: Okay...my internet is back up and running for now.

IC: Xander was unsure of what to do as the second female approached him. He had never had a female show interest in him, let alone two. He shrank back slightly out of shyness.

OOC: Okay...my internet is back up for now.

IC: "I-I-I don't know." Jake stammered. "I guess I find it weird because I have never had a girl treat me as someone other than a dorky nerd that is only good for helping with homework. It's all kinda a new experience for me." He stopped, feeling that he said too much.

    OOC: Okay...my internet is back.

IC: Jake stopped when she started growling. "What is it, girl?" he asked as he crouched low next to her. His eyes followed her gazer and he spotted the slightly opened window. He grabbed Jossé by the back of her collar and they carefully inched forward. Jake slowly opened the front door. From there, he was able to grab the cordless phone and a baseball bat before backing up a few steps.
Using the phone, Jake called for backup, saying that he thought someone might have broken into his house. Once done, he called out into the house.
"THIS IS THE K-9 UNIT! I ADVISE YOU TO COME OUT SLOWLY WITH YOUR HANDS UP OR I WILL RELEASE THE DOG AND YOU WILL GET BIT!"
At his command, Jossé began barking wildly to verify that there was indeed a dog that would be ready to bite once released. After waiting a minute, Jake repeated himself.
