Annie swallowed thickly, shyly approaching Jason, her head low and arms swinging, just as she always did when she was nervous. Even if she didn't like it much, Ezra had a small fuse, and the last thing she wanted was him to get mad. " H-hi..." The girl quietly stuttered.

Annie looked puzzled by his sudden question. It didn't really seem relevant to her. "Don't tell him about the vampires, they'll keep him here like us. We'll be doing him a favor is we don't tell him about them." Ezra quickly insisted, appearing next to Annie to give her a serious expression.
"Ezra does't think its a good idea to answer that." Annie shrugged, her eyes darting away for a moment in discomfort. She didn't like that question very much. -
The power of the tread! And good luck with the gift finding!

OOC: @ Night of Dreams Wait what? We can't see the picture so its a bit hard to understand what you mean.
IC: "Something wrong?" Alex asked, noticing Laina's gaze switching to the boarded window, tilting his head to the side curiously. Glancing at the dead body in the corner, evaluating why it may have caught Laina's attention besides it being a dead body. They weren't really a surprise or shock to see anymore....Oh, of course. Alex mentally slapped himself for being so empty headed, it could reanimate.
-
"Maybe you should just cut its head off, just to be safe." Alex suggested, giving Timber the order to stay as he got up, walking over to stand next to Laina. His own knife at hand, Alex kneeled down to get a closer look as he scanned over the corpse for any sings of life. Timber growled threateningly from a distance, the dog's hackles raised, seeming only moments away from losing its cool and attacking whatever was irritating him so much.
-
Before Alex could reply, the eyes of the now live corpse snapped open, searching around the area, its foggy gaze landing on the lifeforms in the room. Alex jumped back a bit in surprise at the sudden movement from the zombie. A long dry moan escaping its dangling jaw, the creature lurched forward, rolling on its stomach to crawl towards them, its legs long gone. Timber paid no mind to Laina's gentle pets, baring his teeth at the undead threat, shooting to his feet and hurrying over to protect his master.
-
"Maybe if we keep quiet it'll lose interest." Alex sighed, praying the thing wouldn't be banging on the pipes all night, he did want to get some sleep tonight. Without another word he returned to his backpack, unzipping it and pulling out an old battery powered CD walkman.
-
Alex had long since fallen asleep, completely passed out using his backpack as a pillow, Timber laying on his side next to Alex. Timber's head raised when he sensed Laina was awake, standing up and approaching her, letting out a quite 'ruff' so she knew it was him. Giving her a quick lick on the cheek as a greeting.
-
"Hmmm?" Alex slurred, only half awake. He groggily turned his head to look at Laina, lazily opening one eye. "What is it? I'm tired." Alex whined, not knowing of the threat lurking in the shadows of their refuge. Timber came over and sniffed Alex's face, sensing the tension coming from Laina and becoming worried.
-
"I thought you stabbed it!" Alex hissed quietly, his eyes widening at Laina's words. Quickly he pulled his gun out and flicked the safety off glancing around the store worriedly. He seemed far from sleep now as he sat up into a kneeling position, scanning the area for any signs of the crawler.
-
Alex pulled out his flashlight from his backpack and stood up. Silently he stalked over to the sound of the cans, only turning on the flashlight when he thought he was close enough. Crawling only a meter away was the zombie before. It let out a long hateful his as it began working its way towards Alex, thick black blood dripping from where Laina had stabbed it.
-
"God you're disgusting." Alex muttered, walking backwards to keep from getting to close to it. Reluctantly he put his gun back in his belt, grabbing a nearby broom that used to be for sale and using its handle to beat the zombie's head. He didn't want to risk firing a shot and attracting the attention of the probably hundreds of zombies outside. Finally with one hard blow to the head he heard a crack as the creature's skull broke, and with one more it was finally still. Not wanting to be woken by Laina again to be told it was alive, Alex bent down and using his knife completely cut its head off for good measures.
-
"No problem, being woken up to you is way better than a being woken to a zombie biting me." Alex shrugged, sitting down next to Laina and shutting his eyes as he tried to relax again. Bundling up in his hoodie to keep warm.

Annie watched the other two patients leave in a flurry of motion, all the action playing out quickly in Annie's scattered mind. She winced at the shouting outside a little ways down the hall, wringing her hands out nervously. "The door's open. Go investigate." Ezra goaded behind Annie, poking and prodding her back to get her moving.
"I don't think I'm supposed to do that, isn't it against the rules?" Annie whimpered, turning her head away from the door. Ezra groaned at her answer, "Does it matter, do you think any of the doctors follow the rules?" Ezra shot back, "Now go, Alexandria's in there and she might need your help." He added, giving Annie a light push forward. Finally Annie conceded and began stepping forward towards the door, curiously peeking out from behind it to see if the coast was clear. When she confirmed no one was around to yell at her for leaving, she quietly stepped out into the hallway and followed it down to where she heard Jason shouting. -
Alex finally let himself fall back asleep, completely out cold. Timber rested himself in between Laina and Alex, letting out a long dog yawn before shutting his eyes.

Annie quietly walked up to Alexzandria's door, worrying that she might not be alright. No one had seemed to notice Annie's absence, leaving the girl to wander freely throughout the building, occasionally hiding when a worker came by. SO far she remained uncaught, and unseen. Shyly Annie quietly knocked on Alexzandria's door, checking behind her to make sure no one was entering the hallway.
