He's very stubborn and can come across being as cold. When times get rough he rises up to fight and be there for those closest to him. Though Alex seems tough and unstoppable, he is actually very shy about showing his true colors to others. In reality he is very soft and caring. Though he has done well living on his own Alex has a hard time seeing what's left to live for, and you could say he his heavily depressed, and a few times has thought about pointing a gun at his head. History: Alex had an okay childhood, growing up his parents were rather rich and could afford almost anything he wanted. His mom was soft and caring and his father was a bit tough on him and had a small fuse. In school he did well despite belonging to the wrong crowd and constantly finding new distractions. He never really felt like he belonged anywhere, and feared being alone. To avoid this he acted like only what the other kids wanted to see. When the apocalypse happened his friends left him to go live on their own, not interested in dragging him around with them. Surprisingly enough Alex did very well fending for himself and keeping it together, adjusting well to the new world.
