Whitekit curled up in some stray moss in the den. Her mother had died in the river, they had told her. The cold had shocked her and she had drowned. Whitekit was almost ready to become an apprentice. She had had almost no one to depend on, even the mothers that had housed her when her mother died.

[pre]Whitekit made her way over to Piekit . "Hi Piekit." She purred sweetly, looking at Piekit kindly. She saw the tears in her eyes. "Whats wrong?"[/pre]
-
Whitekit slid across the damp leaves, looking up at the full moon with interest. She had snuck out from the RiverClan nursery den. She lingered in the shadows of the trees, dimming her stark white pelt.
-
Whitekit sat down, curling her tail around her paws. "So whats wrong?" she asked, her soft voice full of concern.
-
Whitekit turned her head as Nightkit walked up to her. "Hello Nightkit." She purred softly, her bright purple eyes examining Nightkit.
-
Whitekit lowered her head, mumbling, "My mothers gone."
-
Whitekit looked at them in sympathy. "I'm your friend. And I don't have a mother either. I understand." She said, tiny shoulders drooping.
-
Whitekit beckoned with her eyes to the trees, sliding away from Deathstar and scampering around to another tree.

Whitekit looked at Piekit and Pinkiekit, alseep on a patch of moss. She prodded at them with her white paw, whispering softly, "You should probably get back to your nursery."
-
Whitekit peeked out of the nursery den, her shining white pelt giving her away. She scampered out, going to the edge of a tree.
-
Whitekit nodded, looking at them sympathetically. They must have been taking the loss hard. "I'm here if you need me." she meowed.
-
Whitekit shrugged, nodding. She scampered away, leaves flying up as she pounced on them.
-
Whitekit stopped, looking behind her. Amused, she purred, "Following me?"
-
Whitekit froze, her eyes glazing over with a sudden sadness. "I know what its like. Just try to keep your head up. It...it will pass. Eventually."
-
Whitekit chuckled, looking up at a tree. "I bet you I can beat you to the top."
-
Whitekit turned to Rainkit. "Hi Rainkit! Nothing. Camp is soo boring." She said, sighing and trailing a paw in the soft dirt.
-
Whitekit snorted. "Prove it!" she teased, starting to scamper up the tree, clinging to the bark.
-
Whitekit soon got bored, and snuck away. She started to follow Mystic, softly putting each paw down. She stayed a whiles away, loving the life away from camp.
-
Whitekit shrank back, lowering her head, then snapping it up. "But its so boring! Can I please just watch you hunt for a little while?" she begged.
