Ashstar walked slowly to the entrance to her den. She sat watching everything that was happening in her clan. Oh how she wished to be a mother. She turned around and walked into the cave (her den) and got back to work.

"Goldenfoot could you please come into my den for a moment? I have to ask you a question about your apprentice." Ash star meowed to her friend after she had jumped down out of the cave to find her.

Ashclaw walked in and immediately noticed th copper furred cat standing on the high rock. "What's the matter with you, grumpy features?" She asked when she got close enough to be heard.

"Oh, let him go russet what has he done to you?"

Ashclaw followed up a tree opposite."just because you are always grumpy doesn't mean you have to take it out on everyone else, especially kits!" She shouted

"Calm down everything is going to be fine! I know why you are always so grumpy."

"Please listen to me!"

"You want to know who I am? I am the cat that helped you when you were going to die after you fell out of a tree the day after you got kicked out of your old clan. I tought you how to climb so well!" Ashclaw remembered but russet didn't.
