"Blood, from listening to straight backs' conversation, I realized that talking like that anywhere is like talking that way in a clan's borders. And mates are called 'girlfriends', 'boyfriends', 'husbands', 'wives', or 'spouses'. I'm not sure of the exact context, but it appears only men have girlfriends and wives, only women have boyfriends and husbands, and both can have spouses."

"I think it had something to do with the cave. The last thing I remember, before waking up and defeating the man named Son of a *****, was running into the cave and everything going black even though I wasn't wounded at all."
-
Not sure I wanna... lol
-
"Yes, I ran in last. Everyone went into the cave." she turned to Cherry "No I didn't kill him, unfortunately, he seemed to wish me ill and tried to pin me against a wall..."
-
"What's a 'rape'? Oh, never mind! I just need to become a cat again!" she looked blankly out the window, "Let us see if we can't find Screech..."
-
"Likely, he always ends up with the oddest people..." DreamCatcher shook her head.
-
DreamCatcher did so with pleasure, she started by catching the little kit then carving shapes in it's side with her claw, listening to it's screams. To her, the screams were music. Blood stained the kit's fur and DreamCatcher looked over at the parents to see how they were taking this. Cloud jumped forward to save her kit and got frightened back by DreamCatcher's hiss of raw hatred.
-
So, Acornfoot, you're a high-schooler, too eh? Where you live? I'm Portland OR.
-
"You act like I depend upon you..." DreamCatcher gave him a sideways glance "I mostly care for myself you know. And killing was something I did before I even knew this band of rouges existed. I don't know why I joined... maybe this is my fate though. To become a straight back." she stared at the ceiling, deep in thought, but looking like she didn't care about anything going on around her.
-
"Maybe... I hear they are drawn to one another and tend to group together... and they tend to hate or separate themselves from all others... well, that sounds fairly familiar." She looked at Cherry "Sometime humans can be shifters as well... that would explain why Blood didn't care that you had him in a very vulnerable position. And even supporting you when I was trying to hurt you."
-
"Are you deaf?!" DreamCatcher tried to hiss "Use your ears! He told you to release her! Now give her to us!"
-
The nurse looked hesitant to release Radiance. She looked at each one individually. DreamCatcher got impatient and started looking at her fingers in a menacing way by accident. The nurse freaked out a little and said "Alright! Let me talk to the doctors first!" DreamCatcher was pleased that this woman finally saw reason.
-
"I'm glad... I didn't want to die today..." DreamCatcher said "But mother would obliterate me if I came home without my older sister..." dark memories and thoughts swirled in her eyes until Charlene scurried out of the room.
-
"You've accepted her..." DremCatcher muttered "You know, unless we can turn her into a cat, she can't come with us." she looked a moment at Blood's eyes and realized something was off, there was a new emotion. "Blood? What do you feel for her?
-
DreamCatcher bit into the kit's side, drawing even more blood. She knew this was what she was meant to do, destroy, kill, feast on the pain of others. This was bliss.
-
DreamCatcher just looked at him, and wondered what Cherry had done. He didn't hate her, in fact, he felt kindly emotions for her. DreamCatcher couldn't understand, so she picked Radiance up and hoisted her on to her own shoulders. "Lead the way." she said to Cherry.
-
"I'm sorry?" Martin asked
"Release him. Can no humans use their ears?" DreamCatcher asked the sky
"No can do, he's interfered with police business he even attacked an officer, and doing that puts him here." -
DreamCatcher realized that when they'd walked in, the man had been staring at her. Then her instinct pulled her in a strange way, she walked over and leaned forward so that she was in his face and absently messed with his badge. She spoke with a sickeningly sweet voice "Please? We need him, he's the last memory we have of our old home... a man like you should be able to help? I can't..." she paused "Blood will hurt us if you don't..."
The man turned a little red but didn't move "You should get a restraining order on this Blood guy if he's threatening you." -
DreamCatcher sighed "I tried to avoid violence... not sure why." She then kicked Martin in the head, knocking him out. "Weak. Would you like to claim this kill?" She asked Blood.
-
DreamCatcher turned to Martin's comrade and let all of her hate flood to her eyes. "Then I get this one..." she said, a slight grin forming on her lips. The man swallowed hard, and the last thing he felt before, the stabbing pain of her hand going through his throat, was a kiss on the cheek from the most beautiful killer he would ever see.
