Royals often are. It affects mages that aren't dark and those who share the blood of a dragon slayer.)
~Grima smiles wickedly, licking the blood from the cut, and placing his hand on Robin's forehead, making everything go black for Robin. He wakes up a few moments later, the edges of his vision red and every part of his body hurting, but Grima is no longer standing next to him. Instead, he was now fully in control of Robin's body, flexing the fingers and admiring the symbol.
"I'm very grateful you decided on this," He says out loud, knowing Robin can hear him and could respond telepathically if he wished to. "Well, let's go destroy the world then, shall we?" He asks, stepping out of the door, only to be hit in the face by a beam of white light, barely deflecting it in time, noting Robin's strong magical capacity.
At the end of the hallway stands a white cloaked male mage, the inside of the outfit he's wearing blood red and the outside white as snow. He has a white, entricate mask covering most of his face, showing that he's male but not much else. The hair that is visible is also pearly white, and one eye is like Henry's was, and the other a clear, brilliant sky blue.
"Leave his body, fell dragon," the light mage says, smiling. "Or you're going to end up with a few very nasty cuts."

~Validar suddenly tenses, looking towards the window, the white cloaked figure barely visible. He quickly turns to the other mages, his eyes narrowed.
"Kill them both. I will retrieve the holy one," he says, displeasing at the same time everything goes pitch black. the mages figured that the first thing they needed to do was eleminate as many of Alex's senses as possible, so hopefully one of them could get their hands on their and turn the dormant that turned Alex back into the man he used to be back on.

~Grima watches the mage warily, still too weak in this new form to do much of any offensive magic- even if Robin wasn't fighting him at all.
The mage begins to chant something under his breath, the floor beneath him beginning to glow and a shield appearing behind Grima, trapping them in.
"You must fight, Vessel! I can remove him if you fight, but not if you don't!" his voice is commanding but still relatively cheerful, as if he has everything under control.
Validar appears next to the mage, slicing across at the mage's face. But the mage is much quicker, drawing his sword with nimble fingers and parring the blow with ease. If the boy that the body originally belonged 2 did not fight- they would lose immediately. That's how it worked.
"I am running out of time!" He says, fighting with one hand and charging the spell with the other, laughing at the Validar, winking at Grima.
~The mages don't try and and fight at all, really, mostly just taunt Alex by standing as close as they can to him before he cuts them down, a black dust flying up everywhere every time one of them is killed. The sand like mixture is made from Grima'so blood- guaranteed to make Alex go mad eventually, slowly but surely -
~Grima was shocked- how was it possible for him to lose control so easily?! The filthy light mage must have direct control with Naga, he had never seen a mage like this since before Anri- one with the ability to switch seamlessly between light and dark- that's what the different colors of his eyes meant, surely.
Without wasting a second the mage throws his hand towards Grima, unleashing the spell. It hits Robin dead in the center of his chest halfway through his second attempt at cutting Validar, throwing Grima's shadow form out of Robin. Validar dodges both moves smoothly and quickly scoops up Grima, disappearing in a flash.
The mage looks over at Robin, knowing he needed to kill the vessel, but he was currently much more interested with the fight going down below in the courtyard. Something about the young elemental mage stirred something within him, but he couldn't quite place it.
"Stay here. Don not leave under any circumstance," he says, patting Robin on the head before teleporting down to the battlefield, standing between Ricken and Alex, the wind pushing the hood of his cloak down.
The mage raises his hands above his head and the rain clears almost instantly- he needed the sun's energy if he was going to beat this mage. Whom appeared to be of Mercury descent- judging by the mask and extreme use of elements.
He holds up his sword and points it at Alex, grinning, the blade turning clear like glass.
"This is going to be too much fun," he says. "Your blood is going to look wonderful on my clothing " -
Henry watches for a moment or two, still just happily smiling before waving his hand over the earth, a great chasm opening between Alex and the castle and Henry himself. Many of the creatures fall into it initially, dead warriors and the other assortment of people Henry had killed Crawling up out of the earth. Henry then says something softly in Japanese, the castle becoming mostly reconstructed, the pieces covered in white light for a second before slipping back together like they were never broken. He couldn't do much for the pepole already desd, but he could keep a lot more of those alive if he kept the castle together and ended this fight as quickly as possible.
Turning to Ricken, Henry smiles.
"You're rather short for a mage, aren't you? Nya ha ha ha! A little mage. Say, little mage, I need you to gather whoever is related to this very amgry mam here- and bring them right back, okay?" Henry asks politely, turning to cut down several more of the rock creatures. Making a circular motion with his finger, all of the glass shards rise up and face Alex, flying at him all at once.
Henry's left hand is glowing bright white, whIle the other glows with a much deeper color. Closing his eyes for a moment, he chants something rapidly, causing deep, cavernous hokes to open, and strange deformed creatures to struggle out, all turned towards ALex.
currently, Henry wad just buying himself time- this battle wouldn't conclude until he had a definite key to winning it. -
(the ironic thing is, Henry can't really lose control because there is no Ricken)
~"let me go!" Amiti cries, struggling against Ricken. He was terrified of what was going on outside, and he couldn't find his father snywhere, who he felt safe around always. The castle was slowly being destroyed, and he certainty didn't want to he destroyed as well.
~"You're a very powerful mage," Henry smirks, dodging the sword easily and raising one hand into the air. "But why did you go crazy in the first place, hm?" Henry turns back to face Ricken, watching the two children for a moment. Amiti staring st his father in downright terror.
That couldn't be his dad... could it? His father would never hurt him or nowell....
Henry puts both his hands together, the ball of energy forming between his fingers both light and dark. He throws directly at Alex, and when it comes in contact with anything, goes off like a tiny nuclear bomb- throwing Alex and anything within a 10 meter radius backwards by sheer force -
~Henry ignores Ricken, taking off his now mostly destroyed mask and unclipping his cloak, letting it fall to the ground. Instead of cast another spell, Henry grabs Amiti by the throat, causing him to whimper and start to cry, especially as Henry very carefully begins to make incisions with his sword over the boy's legs. The blade was meant to burn magical blood and it was doing just that, causing Amiti to start to scream. Henry, however, only keeps smiling.
"I'll kill both of them, you know," he says, grinning. "It'll be beautiful. Then the next time I raise the dead your children can be part of it. What do you say?"
~Marth slowly rises to his feet, his face pale. He continues to cover and uncover his ears, his eyes wide. He couldn't hear anything. He should have been able 2, obviously there were things to be heard, the amount of damage in this hallway alone was bad, but he was completely deaf and it terrified him. Looking around, he spots Robin and carefully makes his way over towards him, even if the mage didn't look too happy to see him -
Henry pulls back just before, but nearly trips catching himself just in time. He quickly moves the blade to under Amiti's chin, the young boy sobbing incoherently.
"No, no, no, silly Mercury mage. That's not how this game works. Let me bleed you, and I'll let him go. Otherwise, I'll Maim him- Starting with his tongue, and then Moving down, Before I kill him, " Henry says, chuckling to himself, not even looking at Amiti, all of his attention focused on Alex. This was unbelievably lucky- what were the odds that this mage had relatives here with him, and they were his children? It was absolutely perfect. It was always impressive what a parent would do for their children, especially when those children were scared and in pain. it was the only reason the fight had stopped now- otherwise, it could have gone on for days at the cost of hundreds of lives. -
~Henry looks at Alex's wrist and a cut opens from his palm to his elbow, causing him to lose blood extremely quickly. After about a minute Henry nods and the wounds closes up, Henry gently setting Amiti down, who immediately runs to Alex, visibly quivering with fear.
"Well, it was very nice fighting you, mage of Imil, but I have other much more bloody business to take care of," Henry says, smiling and picking up his mask, the leather repairing itself. He then does the same with his cloak, putting it back on. He had to kill the vessel before Grima came back to reclaim it. They had come too close this last time. Glancing at Ricken, he stops for moment, trying to place the face. Shaking his head, he waves goodbye, heading back onto the castle -
~Marth stares at Robin, looking very confused. He couldn't read lips very well at all, but he could tell Robin was very upset with what he could assume was him. Marth was on the verge of having a panic attack, on edge and close to the most scared he had ever been. so when Shulk grabs his hand he jumps nearly 4 feet in the air, his hand going for sword initially but when he sees it's Shulk he throws himself on the island boy, shaking all over. He wraps his arms around Shulk's neck and closes his eyes tightly, taking deep, shuddering breaths.
~Amiti relaxes into Alex's chest, looking up at his father. He had never seen his father cry, but he had never seen him angry ethier. Something was wrong with Alex but he didn't know what it was or how to help. All he knew was that he was now terrified of Henry, even more so than he used to be, and he felt safe with father, crazy or not.
"...Father?" Amiti asks softly, his voice barely heard at all.
~Henry turns at his name once inside the castle, trying to figure out how the elemental mage knew his name, tensing up slightly as Ricken hugs him. He had no idea who this young mage was, but he obviously knew henry, or thought he did.
"Well hello there," he says, smiling like always. "I hate to be rude, but can I ask your name? I think you may have me confused with someone else." -
~Pit knocks on Ricken's door, cradling a tiny sleeping Aris with one arm and part of one of his wings. He had seen Ricken enter the room in what looked like complete and utter fury. But, knowing the mage, it was probably just sorrow. Ricken had been so sure the first few days that Henry was coming back for him that it was almost heartbreakingly sad when the young man had finally gotten through the denial stage of grief and had accepted that he simply wasn't. He hadn't seen Ricken that upset since then.
"Ricken?" He asks, his voice concerned. "Ricken, are you alright?" Pit was grateful that Aris could sleep through literally anything, so him talking wasn't going to wake the child. "Do you need me to go get Alex?"
~Amiti stares at Alex for a long time, completely and utterly confused by his father's sudden change in character. What one earth was going on?
"Father, are you alright?" Amiti asks, his voice slightly louder this time. He Wanted To make sure this was Actually Alex.
~Marth relaxes into Shulk slightly, leaning on him more heavily for support. If he really was deaf, everything was going to end for him. He would literally lose everything- maybe even shulk.
"I... I-I can't-" he starts, his voice barely there. "I can't hear amything." -
~pit walks over to Alex and lays one hand gently on his shoulder, genuinely worried for the mage.
"What happened, Ricken?" He asks, looking at the blanketed lump. "You finally got through the worst part of grieveing, so what chsnged?"
~Marth buries his face in the crook of Shulk's neck, mentally begging and pleading the island boy to stay with him regardless of whether he could hear or not. Before he knew it, he was silently sobbing, his shoulders shaking. He began to think about who his kingdom would go to, since he would probably be assassinated by how own advisors, because they wouldn't want to deal with a king who couldn't fight Or have conversations that weren't in sign language.
~Henry looks over at Felix and Alex as they enter the castle, glad to see the other mage was alright for the time being. He was currently repairing the worst of the damage to the castle walls, feeling he owed Altea at least that much since he was the one who caused a great portion of it. Kneeling down next to one of the servants, who had a large bite of his right leg, Henry mutters something under his breath and placed a hand on the wound, healing it completely.
"There you are," Henry says, smiling and licking the blood of his fingers. Yes, this was much more amusing than killing the silly vessel, everything was much more bloody and destroyed here, so Robin and Naga both could wait patiently for his death -
~Henry sees Robin and walks over to him, unsheathing His blade.
"Alright, Vessel. I, somewhat regrettably, must now spill your blood," he says, giggling. "So dont try to run. ou're much too dangerous to be left alive, hm?" Henry didn't really care about killing people either way, but something about Robin made him hesitate. Everyone he saw here made him feel like was forgetting something that he could never quite get his finger on And it was almost frustrating.
~Pit looks at Ricken, very confused. Henry was dead- he had been dead for almost a month now. But now that he thought about it, someone did defeat Alex. Or at least kept him from leveling the castle.
"Does he now have two different colored eyes?" Pit asks, slowly putting tow and two together. Before Anri slayed Grima the first time, Naga used to bring back sorcerers that had magical ability from the dead when they died to serve her. They were able to switch back and forth between light and dark magic with ease, and tended to be focused on whatever one set goal was placed before them by Naga. Henry had been unbelievably powerful, probably one of the most powerful elder magic wielding mages in centuries. It would only make sense for Naga to choose him to bring back.
~Marth gently pulls away, wiping his eyes. He would work through this just like everything else- it would perfectly fine. The major thing he regretted right now was the fact he had let Chrom see him at his weakest, especially since he would eventually be ruling Khadein at the same time Marth was ruling Altea.
A young blonde woman in heavy armor runs up as fast as she can, out of breath and kneeling before Marth, saying something rapidly in Japanese, Marth just staring blankly at her.
-
~Pit nods slowly, looking at Ricken sadly. The Young mage Didn't deserve this, regardless of who he feel in love with. Even if it was indeed Henry.
"Sometimes Naga let's them go," he says softly. "If you ask her nicely."
~The young woman rises to her feet, looking confused. She was originally from further inside Altea, and had never learned to speak the common tongue, only Japanese. She looked back to Marth for a response, but his attention is focused on Felix, the only hope he currently had of being healed. Walking over to Felix he doesn't say anything for fear of speaking too loudly or too softly, instead just points to his ears, his eyes still bloodshot and watery.
~She hears a tired groan from within, and then a rustle of sheets and then pages, Berkley exiting the tent, fully dressed. He doesn't have a book for once in his life, and I about to ask what happened before he looks at the sky. It was covered in silver overtones, which could be seen by mages, and the magical residue was so strong in the air it almost made him gag. This was mercury magic- the strongest of all elemental magics. Someone had snapped, that was sure.
"Is that.... mercury magic?" He asks, his eyes wide. -
(I want toon link to do stuff :( he's so adorable in all these pictures I find)
~Pit nods slowly, thinking about if the roles were switched and it was Felix instead of Henry. it would be unbelievably horrible.
"We have to least try, alright, Ricken? He's not like Palutena."
~The woman takes a couple of steps back but does as Felix asks. She had very important news that concerned everyone, but if Marth was hurt she supposed that took priority. What exactly was wrong with him anyway?
Marth looks between Felix and Shulk, his face pale.
"What Did you say?" He asks, trying to keep his voice a steady volume. Could Felix heal it or not? What was taking so long? He would be expected to give speeches soon, travel to nearby cities. How on earth was he supposed to do that, or anything else, completely deaf?
~Henry just smiles, winking at Robin.
"If you use any dark magic, Grima can practically control you automatically. it's why you lean towards them. Grima gives you the ability to be the strongest dark mage in existence, but only if you surrender you self to him. Such a shame...." Henry takes a few steps back and waves his hand, his sword beginning to glow faintly.
"Is that what you really want? To doom everyone?"
Berkley looks at her, looking somewhat curious.
"You're from that tribe. Which means you know who did this," he says, studying her face for a moment. As he does so, there's a rustling of trees as a huge, dark shape flies over them, landing on a group of strong, old trees. It's an adult wyvern, and as it spreads it's wings again to take off, it screeches into the early dawn sky, the noise Deafening. Berkley turns his gaze to it instead, frowning As Lucius exits the tent, his hair braided back and looking completely confused.
"All the magical beings will be heading stright for Altea, Mia," Berkley says, throwing a rock into Raven's tent. -
(Typing the rest but posting this first. I'm just going to make toon link already be dressed)
Roy is holding Theodore to his chest, paling when he sees DP and Link in the doorway.
"I'm so sorry! I didn't know! He just- poof!" Roy says, holding theo out to them, DP quickly scooping the young boy up.
"Theo....?" -
~There's a soft thump as a violet and white hawk flies into the room and falls to the ground, flopping around for a few seconds in front of Alex's bed. The feathers on its chest are bright red with blood and it shakes itself before gradually transforming into a young man with violet hair wearing Dark Mage robes. he's bleeding from a wound on his chest rather heavily, but nevertheless bows to Chrom respectfully. His name is Canas, a dark mage who had served Chrom's family faithfully for quite some time, but always prefered serving the young prince over his father. Hence why he was here.

~Marth looks between Shulk and Felix, not drinking from the vial. After Hardin, he had a very hard time trusting those he thought were his friends, and it didn't help that he couldn't hear anything they were saying. Chrom had handed Felix the vial- that was thing, and he had no idea how the prince thought of him. He had no idea what was in there.
~Pit looked down at Henry, frowning sligjtly. He had a little bit of magic at his disposal, due to being am angel, and his magic didn't work the way a mage'a did, so Henry didn't have any way of blocking it. Saying something in a strange language, pit then claps his hands, Henry appearing in front of him, looking around confused.
"Why am I here?" He asks, studying pit, who points to Ricken's lump In the bkankets.
"Kiss him, Henry," Pit commands, looking annoyed.
~Mia hears a tired moan and a rustle of blankets, but Raven doesn't make an appearance outside of the tent.
"Your cousin did that? " Lucius asks, unbraiding his hair and looking back up the sky. "That's going to attract every magical being or creature for miles in every direction. Do they know that?"
Berkley Watches the Magic linger in the air, Sneezing softly.
"I feel the pull of it, certaintly. You and Mia probably don't as strongly, Luci, because you're both healers. But I feel like I have to be there right this very second or I'll go mad. It's disconcerting, " he says, tapping his wrist with his finger. -
~Marth watches Felix drink the contents of the bottle before reluctantly admitting to himself that the brunette probably didn't want to poison him. Taking the smallest drop he can manage, he hands the vial back to Felix, still looking very much on edge. Why on earth could he still not hear anything?
~Canas looks down at Alex, not really noticing the older mage before then. But once he studied him for a second it was obvious that he was the one who caused the large magical spike glowing straight out of Altea.
"Everything is coming to this location. I haven't seen wyverns this active since that smiling boy burned Destroyed half a city," Canas says, shrugging slightly and looking back over at Chrom.
"You're father has gone mad, your majesty. Khadein has declared war on Altea, and he has announced that you are a traitor of war and no longer have any right to take the throne after his death. It will go to Lissa, apparently."
~Henry smiles and shakes his head, almost looking slightly embarrassed.
"I'd rather not," he says, more confused than anything about the entire thing. Yes, Ricken reminded him of someone, that was certain, but that didn't mean he was going to automatically kiss him. He hadn't kissed anyone before.
"Just do it, alright?" Pit says, watching Henry as he turns once more to Ricken.
~DP holds Theodore close to him, reluctantly smiling as he noticed the little boy's features. he was a mini Link, and DP didn't mind that at all, but he was saddened that he had now lost most of Theo's baby to toddler years, something that couldn't ever be made uo, at least not really.
"Link, calm down," DP says, gently stroking Theo's hair. "Of course Ike didn't do it. How could he possibly? He has no means or matter to do so."
~"Then we'll pray that everyone is alright," Lucius says gently, turning to the tent and yelling something in Japanese. They didn't speak in Japanese often around Mia because it was rude to leave her out of conversations entirely, but she was eventually beginning to pick up words due to all of the villages they went through that only spoke the Khadein dialect of the language.
"What?! Where?!" Raven says, scrambling around in the tent for a moment before exiting, fully dressed, his hair a red bush of tangles. He looks around excitedly for a moment before flipping Lucius off, looking very annoyed.
"Why did you wake me up? There's nothing out here."
"You know, Raven, I used to think that everyone had at least a little bit of magical blood in them, but after meeting you, I know that's completely wrong," Berkley says, smiling softly. "There's a huge amount of magic inside Altea at the moment, and we don't know what that means, exactly."
Raven looks over at Mia, knowing full well her friends and family were inside that kingdom, and if she was related to a mercury mgae, that couldn't mean anything good.
"Is everyone alright, do you think?" -
(So on a whim I kind of made Canas A Member Of the hawk tribe Of Phoenicis, so we'll see how that works out)
~"I am here to serve you, as always," Canas says, smiling and bowing again. "I'd much prefer to side with someone who doesn't try to mortally wound me." Canas winces slightly, putting one hand to his chest as he looks at Felix.
"Are the healer?" He asks, curious to know if Marth had any good healers on his staff at all. Though it would appear just this one, because the young man already looked exhausted, and he was sure there was at least another 50 or so people he had to get to after this, himself included.
~Roy shakes his head, looking relieved that Link wasn't going to kill him.
"No, I don't. He just randomly started aging really fast shortly after all the windows blew out. It was very strange," he says, quickly taking the opportunity to escape the room.
"He's like a little mini you," DP says, smiling. "I just wish he would've gotten wings."
~Henry gently catches Ricken before he falls off the bed, one hand supporting Ricken's back. The mage was rather cute, yes, but he still had things to take care off, and couldn't really afford to mess around with anyone or anything, unless it was fast.
"But if he wants to kiss me, who am I to complain?" Henry says, grinning and winking at Ricken.
~Marth just sighs, annoyed that Felix was refusing to tell him what the verdict was on his hearing, and that Shulk was being even less help.
Once they're in the room, Marth takes off his armor and sword, letting everything fall to the floor.he then spends the time unlacing his boots and taking off his cape, leaving him in just his pants, tunic and belts. He then eagle flopped on the bed, staring st the cieling. He was past caring about being able to defend himself at this point, he just wanted to actually be able to sleep without nightmares this time.
"Beddo," Marth says in Japanese, pointing to the bed.
~"well, I guess we should just get over there as fast as possible, then," Raven says, shrugging and beginning to pack up camp.
Berkley says something in Japanese and his tent and belongings fold up or are packed nicely, waiting to be saddled onto the horse. He was on edge already, and it had only been about 15 minutes since the magic appeared. What was he going to do tomorrow if couldn't be in Altea? There were stories of mages going mad over this kind of ridiculous thing but Berkley just tries to shake it off, knowing he'll find a way to cope somehow. -

"Me llamo berkely." -
~Henry bends down and gently kisses Ricken, jumping backwards as soon as their lips touch as though he was burned. His head suddenly hurt terribly, and he was getting weird flashes of images in front of his eyes. Steading himself against the wall, he puts a hand to his head, wondering what on earth the mage had cursed him with. He had never seen anything like it.
~Canas nods at Chrom and smiles slightly, amused at Chrom's flirting attempts. It's not like it mattered AnyWay, he was going to be married.
"My name is Canas. And you?" He asks, looking at Fekix, wincing as he sits down And the wound is healed.
~Marth hugs Shulk close, not letting him get up to get anything. He just wanted to hold Shulk, he didn't care about anything else at the moment. Gently kissing under Shulk's chin, he smiles very slightly, happy the island boy would stay with him.
~DP smiles and shrugs.
"He looks about Aris' age," he says. "He's in the tiny and soft stage still." The dark angel smiles, gently fixing Link's hat. He absolutely loved how similar his lover and his son looked, they were adorable together.
