    "Oh, I see." She mused, about to slip back into the water when he suddenly let out a high pitched whistle. She immediately put her hands to her ears. They were very sensitive, and not used to hearing loud sounds like that out of the water. She let out a gasp as suddenly two large men grabbed her by the arms and dragged her away from the water.

    "No, no!" She shrieked out, her arms stretching backwards to the water, her home. "Let me go!" She screamed, her tail flopping uselessly behind her as she struggled, though effectively smacking one guy in the face that was attempting to wrangle the wild limb. She had never felt so completely helpless before. She looked up, the connection not completely there yet. "Please, tell them to let me go," She pleaded, her big brown doe eyes looking up at Sebastian. Her parents were right, she should have been scared. What a mistake this was. The sand suddenly felt so hot, and then she was not on the ground anymore. She was panicking, and rightfully so, as she squirmed in their seemingly ironclad grip.

    Her eyes darted to her human as he laughed along with one of the men, seeming to take pleasure in her misfortune. Wait...was he trying to capture me all along? Fury as well as sadness bubbled in her chest, angry at this man for taking advantage of her. But there was nothing she could do. The men picked her up and she could not do anything but close her eyes as they restrained her. Why would he do this to her? She saved him.

    Remember, all men are evil. She heard the echo of her father's voice in her mind, and in this moment, she felt it to be true.

    //Sounds good :) //

    "I remember," She said stiffly, looking up at him with a guarded stare. She saved him, of course she remembered... She frowned and just stayed silent. In reality, Ophelia had no idea if she could survive or not. But at the moment she knew that she was becoming unbearably hot in the sun, her scales sparkling gloriously in the sunlight. Her arms were beginning to tire from being held in such an uncomfortable position. "You can tell these brutes to put me down. I can't move in the sand like you. So I won't be running away." Without legs like them, she was completely useless on land. Her normal sweet voice had a hard edge to it, furious with both them and herself for being taken captive. Sebastian. If she hadn't felt so betrayed by him, she would have really liked that name. Ophie focused her attention back on the man.

    "I don't know. I've never been out of the water before." She had heard in legends that merfolk adapted to the conditions on land, whatever that meant. She hoped that were true, as she was feeling more and more like she was going to pass out. Her tail was starting to feel funny, kind of painful actually...little did she know it was beginning to change and morph into two perfectly human legs. Her body was changing to the intense heat land, so she could sweat and wouldn't die from overheating.

    Lorelei watched as the wolf walked away, gently resting her leg on the ground for balance and wincing slightly. Her eyes rounded as now too soon after a tall man walked out from where the wolf was, commenting on what she said. Apparently he thought it was funny. "Wait, you're Eric? Where's the wolf?" Her brow furrowed as her eyes darted around, as obviously she was starting to realize what just happened. "Hold on..you're not telling me..." The girl put a hand to her head. "I must be hallucinating. My head hurts so bad..." Everything was becoming a bit too overwhelming, along with her fear of the girl who was still staring at her, her head suddenly felt very light.

    "Um, I think..I'd better..sit down..." Her body sagged, her eyes rolling into the back of her head as she promptly passed out.

    He shifted lightly, touching his back to discover that it was bandaged up. Huh. Just who was this person? "Who are you?" He eventually voiced out loud, his dark eyes finding the man's face as he watched with slight amusement while he tripped over his own feet. "Um..better. Are you the one who helped me?" Xander thought so, but he really couldn't remember. After he was ambushed, everything was kind of fuzzy. It seemed his other somewhat more minor wounds were almost done healing. But healing did take a lot of energy, so he still felt quite sleepy. He surveyed the rest of the small cottage, noting that there seemed to be no one else there. That was good, and put him at ease. He liked this man's comforting aura, but he still would be a bit wary.

    //Timeskip//

    Namir ended up falling asleep in his office after finally sorting out the messed up deal from last night. If Harmonia would accept his invitation into the pack, she would accompany him. He enjoyed her presence, her aura felt so...pure. Innocent. He hadn't been around someone like her in a long time. Besides, why not she how she did in a smaller deal before taking her to the big leagues? Plus, it would be easier to just have her near him as much as possible instead of having someone follow her around to keep her safe. Dawn was breaking and the sunlight through the window woke the man up, a soft groan escaping.

    A shower was in order, especially after his romp through the woods. He got up, walking out of his office and right next door to his bedroom where he also had a bathroom. He went in there and hopped in quickly. About ten minutes later he was out, drying himself off and pulling on a rather strapping pair of jeans and a t-shirt with a leather jacket. A pair of high end shoes to boot. Running his hands through his damp hair, he walked out of his room after brushing his teeth and whatnot.

    Making his way out, he walked down the hallway where another person, not Ella was standing guard outside of Harmonia's room. If the girl were to dig around in the drawers she would find plenty of high end, fashionable clothes for her to change into.

    The man stepped aside with a flash of red eyes from Namir as the alpha knocked on the door rather politely.

    "Hope I didn't wake you, m'dear. Goodmorning. It's me, Namir."

    "Yes...I need to drink something." She replied, her throat feeling raspy and scratchy. Her tail was beginning to burn! The pain was increasing, and she let out a small shriek as they let her go. She clutched her tail, closing her eyes as the pain was nearly unbearable. It felt like she was being pulled apart. She sat like that for what seemed like forever, but was really only a minute or so. She slowly opened her eyes, looking up at Sebastian as he knelt down and handed her a very pretty purple piece of cloth. Why was he being kind to her all of a sudden? She gingerly took it, wiping her forehead as he suggested. Mermaid's luck? They kept talking about that. It was strange, she wasn't sure if she was all that lucky considering she had got caught in this position.

    She sat up slightly, still keeping her limbs close to her, her toes pressing in the sand...wait, toes?! She looked down and saw two feet, then two legs, attached to her! Ophelia let out a scream and jumped backwards, her legs feeling so weak and wobbly in place of her powerful tail. Humans lived like this and walked around with these things? "What is happening to me?" She whispered, feeling exposed and fearful of these brutish men all around her.

    She was shivering, either from fear or simply just being cold as she wasn't used to just having these two naked-looking legs. She registered he placed his coat on her and she looked up at him through her eyelashes. "I think so..." Ophelia whispered, reaching out her hand to take the cup and sip it. Immediately she felt better and she drank every last drop, clearing her throat and falling completely silent. She felt much better now, and less sickly, but she was still frightened. Here she was with unfamiliar faces in an unfamiliar world. She wasn't completely sure how she felt about this man called Sebastian. He was nice to her, then not so nice, and then he gave her his coat and water. It was all very confusing. She took his advice and didn't move. Ophie didn't want to anger the men further. She stayed silent, her long hair falling in front of her face.

    Hearing the soft voice allowing him entrance, he opened the door quietly and stepped inside, closing it behind him. He gave the small elf girl a lopsided smile, crossing his muscled arms over his chest. "How'd you sleep? Good, I hope?" He looked around the room, gazing down at the same small house who stared at him unwaveringly. What a dreadful little furball. Namir tilted his head slightly. "Have you thought about what we talked about last night? Because this lovely little suite is yours, if you want it." The man didn't really enjoy to dance around the subject, after all, he couldn't afford to house her for more than a night if she didn't want to commit. That was fair, right? Though he was worried about her giving him potential puppy dog eyes and it would be game over. Namir really couldn't help it, he didn't know what it was about the girl, but he felt this just innate need to protect her. Sometimes wolves would get like that. They were very territorial, after all, and he was no exception. Perhaps more so than the average werewolf due to his true alpha nature.

    He blinked, then raising his hands up in a somewhat mock submissive posture. "But no pressure, dah'lin'."
