I was instantly relived to know he was okay. "I shall see you later brother," I said to him. I turned away and returned to my business. I suddenly felt the small rumble of my stomach. Of course I knew what it was asking me for. I trotted over to the freshkill pile was, grabbing a rodent of my choice. A rabbit. I sat down and began nibbling on it without much patience.

"Bye Kuneli," I returned the farewell. I always thought it was adorable whenever she worried about me. I purred at the memory of a little fluff of fur saying the smartest of words, Kuneli of course. I smiled to myself and began to wander aimlessly around my beloved home.

I was groggily awoken to the noise of chattering around the perimeter. Rubbing my eyes, I allowed my body to rise up and check out the scene. I shivered a bit as the next roar came by. "What the heck is happening?" I muttered under my breath drowsily. I became curious and slightly rejuvenated. I padded towards the freshkill pile to fulfill my morning hunger. I grabbed a mouse, but it wasn't long before I devoured it. I just shrugged and began to walk around.

I nodded, lowering my head in respect for the dead one. I was slightly puzzled at the fact that the creature had wings, but didn't bother to ask at the moment. I too backed up just to be about a foot in front of the Queen. "I shall tell some of the tragedy, m'lady. I am sure you will tell the rest." I flattened my ears, bowing in respect before waking out of the room. I had only told six or seven of the NPCs. Like I said, I would allow only the Queen to spread the news to the rest.

"What!? You have to be joking, Kuneli. There's no way!" I said, denial strong within my words. I stared at her with disbelief and shock. My fur was bristled upon its ends. My ears were pinned back. I always hated it whenever somebody within the Clan died, even if it was somebody I wasn't that close to. Or somebody I didn't know at all. I never knew whom this NPC was, but I was saddened at the fact that we all had lost one more.

The she-cat's bold blue eyes flickered, a look of curiosity glued to her face. She had stopped glancing at other warriors overall. She had merely started to stare at apprentices. She wasn't too much bigger than them. Mainly through height, not weight. She grinned to herself as they talked and played. She recalled those being the good ol' days within her mind.
