Palemist screeched right out loud at Sawnfurs voice, her dream seeming to force its way into the delicate cream she-cats lopsided reality. Her eyes flew open in fear and her mew came out mangled. "Reddawn! Fire! Claws!" she hissed, crouching to the ground, her hackles raising. She looked around in time to see Swanfur collapse back onto the ground in a heap of fur. She snapped out of her nightmare and focused on the truth, which was her clan mates sickness. "It's OK, Swanfur! It's me!" but her friend was already snoring. Worried, Palemist raced through the brush, only to skid to a halt when she almost ran into Star in the other side. "Nighthawk! Star! Who ever you are! Wake up; you need to look as Swanfur!" she hissed quietly, nudging the she sleeping she-cats side lightly with her nose.

    Ooc: I think it's pretty cool. :)

Thundersky padded with his three companions into the misty darkness of Shadow Forest. He scented for prey as well as danger as they padded through the pale trees. "Tell me Cinderpaw, Stonepaw." he mewed. "What do you smell?"

Ooc: Misty, Stonepaw is training with Thundersky, Snowtail, and Cinderpaw. Oh, and I have no idea where Willow is.

Palemist sighed and started for the second time. "I'm not sure. I was having a dream about being a kit and Reddawns claws in my pelt trying to kill the runty kit and the stinging fire..." she stopped and mentally shook herself. "Anyway, I woke up when Swanfur called my name. She was standing up and I know she was awake, and I said 'Yes, Swanfur, it's me', but I didn't even get the words out and she was collapsed in the moss, snoring like nothing happened. All in the space of about five seconds, mind you." the cream cat mewed her explanation in one breath and took a big gulp of air. "I think there's something wrong." she declared lamely.

Elmstar smiled and licked Tigerkits ear. "No worries, small one. It will come before you know it." she promised. "OK, Bramblepaw. Let's go explore." she mewed.

Thundersky nodded his approval to Cinderpaw. "Good. I suspect you are smelling the rabbits that live in Shadow Forest, and perhaps some of the hrbs here as well." the dark tabby tom mewed. "Anything else?"

Ooc: sounds right to me. :) question Snowtail; is it OK for Thundersky to like Snowtail? I'm trying to make a list cause I'm losing track. :-\

"Good job, Stonepaw. That was very good." Thundersky purred. He turned to Cinderpaw, bu the apprentice was gone. "Cinderpaw!" he hissed, racing after her scent.

Elmstar nodded to Stonepaw as she passed with Bramblepaw. "Good catch, Stonepaw. You must have a great mentor!" she purred, flicking his shoulder lightly with her tail on the way by.

Ooc: try this: CRUSHES: Elmstar/Mintgaze, Thundersky/Snowtail, Cinderpaw/Stonepaw. Am I missing any?

Elmstar purred and led Bramblepaw into the trees. "OK, Bramblepaw. Tell me where you think we are and what you smell." she instructed.
Thundersky raced after the she-cat, hoping he would catch her before she got into any danger. "Cinderpaw! Come back here!" he hissed.

ooc: We need more warriors! anybody have friends you would like to have in Mistclan??

Thundersky caught up with Cinderpaw and cuffed the gray she-cat across the ear. "Cinderpaw, i told you to stay next to me! And you have to answer when I call." He scolded.

ooc: Snowgate is accepted! Everyone, I should tell you. Theres a clan list on the first page, the last post, if you ever need a reference.

Palemist shook her head and circled in the snow, making a pit and curling up comfortably in the cold nest. "I'm not gonna sleep. I need to know whats going on with my friend. If Swanfur is sick, I want to know right away." She mewed firmly, her clear voice braided with uncertainty, tiredness, and sureness. "She put her cream head down on her paws on watched Star and Rain as they cared for her friend and Star went into another of her trances.

Palemist was slipping into a sleepy daze and was about to relenquish her grip on alertness and sleep when she saw Swanfur stir across the clearing. She shook off the cloud and bounded to her friends side, pressing her nose into the petrified she-cats fur. "It's OK, Swanfur. It's me, Palemist. And Moons here, and Rain, and Storm. Star is in a sort of sleeping trance thing right now and she won't be able to help you yet, but she's the only one who knows how to help you, so just stay still and stay awake. It will all be OK; I think you just have a sprained paw and may have hit your head pretty hard on that root when you tripped, but I know Nighthawk can heal you." the cream tortoiseshell mewed in a rush, tryin both to reassure her friend and keep her awake at the same time.

Palemists hackles rose and she hissed at the smaller cat, her green gaze drilling daggers into the rouges calm look. "Shut it, mousebrain. I never asked for your opinion, and I don't believe your little siblings did, either. I'm more of her friend than you ever will be! So I suggest you don't speak to me like I'm a good-for-nothing, cloudbrained kit and back off a little bit. How do you know that she knew? Are you kitty's so magical and mystic that you can read minds? Oh, and I suppose dark kit over there can breathe fire, to. Oh, and the other kitty kit can summon demons, to, I suppose!" Palemist shrieked; the she-warrior had gotten started and there was no turning her off until she had given all the loner cats a piece of her lonely, tormented, teased, unhappy mind that she had kept to herself and hidden since she was a little kit, alone and dying in the nursery after Reddawn had tried to kill her. Tears filled her eyes and her gaze broke; she collapsed to the ground, sobbing.
