Featherkit backed up suddenly and watched as Dustkit missed before she leapt further back, just a little too far and landed infront of Lilyeye. "Hey mom" She said. Lilyeye smiled at her daughter and looked at Sandkit as he whirled around and bounded in the same direction of his sister and accidentally landed on Danieltail. "Sorry sir" He said.

"I didn't hurt her! Please, don't hurt me!" The little she cat yelled, cowering down in fear, her ears plastered on her head and eyes shut, expecting to feel claws slashing though her fur and smell blood. As she shut her eyes she saw a vision of the Leader of the rouge group her mom ran with, scolding her with physical punishment while the other rouges laughed.

She never opened her eyes and memories started flooding her. "Nothing! I swear! She told me to meet her somewhere, so I did, then I took her to meet the rest of my family, then she told us to run from our makeshift den while she talked to some cats. As we were running I heard her call out my name and I rushed back to see what was going on, but she was unconscious by then and she seemed distressed when she called out my name, so I assumed that something had been following her and I decided that where she was wasn't a safe place at all, so I was taking her to a safer place so that I could help her wake up and see what was wrong and try to help." She rambled, trembling as every scar on her tiny body seemed to ache. She had slashes on her muzzle and side as well as multiple on her haunches, and her memories weren't making it any better. She heard the laughs of the other cats, the scream of her mother and her father as they were murdered then fear. Uncontrollable and huge, the fear she was feeling was coming from deep within her and she realized that she had kept it bottled up. She whimpered slightly and dug her claws into the ground to try and draw the pain out of her scars but it wasn't working. 'Nothing will work' She heard a voice say. She gasped and ducked down, covering her muzzle with her paws and digging her claws into her snout. 'Go away, go away, go away, go away' She thought repeatedly. Her snout started bleeding, but she didn't care. She was being overwhelmed by everything around her and she couldn't focus.

Star had jumped out of the way, her eyes narrowed. "Well your stupid herbs won't work the way you think they will. Either I heal her and we both walk away like nothing happened, or you're on your own" She said. She was bleeding heavily, old scars reopening and if she was human she would be paler than a ghost. Her breath was coming in gasps and she was having trouble standing. Her brother watched from a tree above them, the kits sitting silently at his side. He had shushed them and followed Star, just to make sure she would be okay. 'That she-cat is as stupid as it gets' He thought to himself, the tip of his tail twitching. "And by the way, you honorary Clan cat, I wasn't the one who wanted to meet up with her. I just wanted to give my siblings a days worth of rest before we moved on. We weren't even planning on eating until we were in neutral territory, but she insisted. So before you start pegging blame, get the whole story." She said.

"Why would I want to kill her when all she's done is try to help us." She said calming down quite a bit. "Besides, I've been alone, with my siblings for to long to not know what does and doesn't work. Mind you, I probably know more about this terrain than you. First off, none of those herbs grow around here, and going back to get them would be a waste of time when other stuff that works just as well grows around here." She said sharply. She looked up at the sky and took a deep breath, blood still pouring freely from her wounds. "And second, blame only blinds cats. They think they know the right thing and never change, even though it could be for the better. Mind you I wasn't always a rouge and I was going to have a Clan name and be a medicine cat before our Leader died and the new one wanted all kits and non supporters dead. We fled for our lives and those scars still linger on my pelt today. We were forced from the forests and skies we came to know and had to travel, nonstop, away from there." She said, looking back at Palemist. "Now, if you excuse me, I would like to heal your friend as well as put something on these scratches of mine to stop the bleeding before I pass out and die, leaving my brother to fend for himself and our two siblings." She added, absolutely calm, almost void of emotion. "She became our friend and I don't want her to have a super painful and long recovery." She said, her eyes never leaving Palemist's. There was a sort of ancient wisdom hidden in them, one that can only be accessed by certain cats. It made warriors bow down and others step back out of shier respect. She had no control of when she could use it, it just appeared sometimes, making her golden eyes turn completely silver.

"Kitty-pet my pelt. What part of what I just told you, in that tone, gave any inclination that, A, I was once a kitty-pet, and, B, that I wanted your stupid good for nothing pity. If you want to figure out how to heal your friend on your own, fine. I just wanted to help because I didn't want the same fate that happened to me happen to her." Star said, no longer Star, but NightHawk of ShadeClan. "This kit will one-day grow up to be an excellent healer and you will see, but your blind hatred drives you and will mess with everything. She doesn't want to fight, and I'll show you by stepping down into her sub-consciousness. One day though, I will show you what she see's and thinks." 'Star' said. Her eyes faded from the silver, back into Gold and she flinched. "No Daddy! Don't die!" She screamed, ducking down. She opened her eyes suddenly and looked around, then she saw Palemist and her hair stood up. "What's going on?" She asked, her voice no longer older and wiser than any leader but now innocent and scared, more like a kit her age. She looked around and her nose twitched. "Mother? Father?" She asked in a small whisper, then raised her voice slightly. "Shadetail? Swiftfoot?" She called, using their warrior names. "Where did they go? Did you see them miss? Why do you look so upset? Was it something I did?" She asked her eyes growing huge. "If it was, please, feel free to hurt me, I won't fight back" She said, ducking her head. Nighthawk was whispering words of encouragement into her ears though, trying to get the small kit to stand up for herself. 'You need to get to DreamClan or else NorthClan won't accept your death and you know it" He was saying. "Ma'am, can you tell me where we are" Star asked Palemist, her memory of the past few moments gone.

'Star' smiled. "It's no problem" She said, her voice her own and not Nighthawks. She had just finished healing Swanfur to the best of her abilities and began to work on Palemist. "Don't move. This won't sting, I just want to make sure it gets on the scratches" She said before putting some juice on a cobweb and patting Palemist's scratches, the pain in them seeming to vanish.

Star had popped back to normal, her past slowly fading from her eyes. "Thank you Palemist. You know, you truly are a good cat and care for your Clan mate. I hope you don't mind but I never meant any harm to you or your Clanmates and I'm sorry if we've caused any troubles. We're just looking for a new home, and something in my head keeps telling me to go to DreamClan, where ever that is. If you want you can come, but I completely understand it if you don't." She said as her self. Nighthawk was done for the day. Rain hopped down and pressed his muzzle into his sisters pelt. "Star, please don't scare us like that again" He whispered. She licked her brother in between his ears and meowed, "I won't. That was to much, even for me" Moon and Storm jumped down after the older kit. They ran up to Star and pressed themselves into her pelt. They were crying but doing so quietly. "Shhhhh" She said softly. "It's ok. No need to worry" She whispered to the younger kits.

"I'm not entirely sure. From the looks of it, she's having a dream so I'd say we have a few hours." She said, looking at the cat in front of her. Moon and Storm yawned and laid down next to their siblings. Star smiled at Moon, who was right next to her, and Rain smiled at Storm who was right next to him.

Ooc: I just noticed something! I have the cats named after each other. The older kits have names of things that are weak alone but strong together and the younger ones have names of the bigger siblings. Both of the females are named after the night sky and they all have names that have something to do with the sky! Oh, my, goodness! I've never noticed that! :D
