IC: Finchwing headed over to the fresh kill pile. The sun's golden rays were just shining above the horizion, casting a dim glow into the center of camp. Seeing Dappledpaw, he spoke up.
"Ready for another day of training? Yesterday we went hunting, so today we are going to do battle practice. I was about to ask Windystar if she would like to join us."
Dappled paw jumped up and down with excitement, then rudely pushed Finchwing out of the way of the Freshkill pile. "Great! Get on with it then."
Finchwing sighed after the apprentice walked off. Will she ever learn how to behave?
