Wow, Emeraldfrost thinks. He was the most handsome tom ever! Too bad, he probably doesn't feel the same about me. I'm just like any other she-cat. She dropped her gaze.

"okay whatever you want." She picked up a vole for herself and padded and sat by a jet-black tom.

Emeraldfrost walked into the nursery with the medicine cat hard on her paws. The medicine cat hurried to Silverwhispers side.

Emeraldfroststood and stretched. "Who should come with us?" The warrior asked.

"Sure Nightkit." She flicked her tail to the spot next to her. "Starfang won't mind." The black tom flicked his ear. "Come and sit nightkit," He invited.

"Should we take him to the leader?" Tangleflight asked.

"Snakerocks sounds good to me, Tintedclaw?" The warrior agreed and you three headed toward snakerocks.

"Hello Fireheart!" Emeraldfrost beamed. I can't believe he's talking to me! She thought.

"Congratulations Silverwhisper, three healthy kits" The medicine cat said. He pushed a pile of herbs toward her. "Eat this borage, it will help you produce enough milk." Emeraldfrost, who had left the nursery, poked her head inside "Awe, they're so cute!" she exclaimed.

Tangleflight bared her teeth at him and hissed.

"Well thank you Nightkit! You'll be one soon won't you?" Sparklestream asked as she took another bite of her vole.

Emeraldfrost felt flattered. "Sure Fireheart, I'd love to!" She blurted out. She thought her pelt was going to turn red with embarrassment.

"You know what, I might just do that." With that she bounded away to Flamestar's den. A moment later she came bounding back. "Flamestar said you could be my apprentice!" She mewed with delight.

Tangleflight nodded and with that her and Rianwhisker led the loner to the clan.

Emeraldfrost laid down into her nest and let sleep overtake her. Thinking of Fireheart as she fell asleep.
