I apologize in advance for not responding sooner. I was quite busy this weekend between hanging out with friends and attending graduations >.>

Is it bad that the first thing Alex thought before moving into his new apartment was 'I wonder if my new roommate is cute'? Alex would swear that he wasn't looking for a relationship; he was just merely curious. The raven haired male also silently prayed that his roommate wasn't a slob because there's no way he was dealing with another Jaehwan. Sure, his former roommate was his best friend, but his ideal living conditions rivaled that of a landfill. Beer can scattered left and right, clothes haphazardly thrown over his desk chair and on the floor, and two-month-old pizza boxes collecting dust under his bed made shivers run down Alex's spine just thinking about it.

Alex expelled all of these thoughts as the elevator dinged, signalling he had made it to his destination floor. Readjusting the blue and black backpack on his shoulders and picking up the two cardboard boxes, Alex made his way out of the elevator and to the apartment door where his new roommate awaited him. Although, he honestly didn't know if his roommate was there yet until slight shuffling noises on the other side of the door indicated that they had already arrived. Alex was in a hurry to meet the person he was going to being sharing a home with for who knows how long, so he balanced the boxes on his left hand and dug around for his keys with his right, silently thanking himself for gradually moving in his belongings beforehand so that he only had two boxes left. Successfully fishing them out, Alex unlocked the door and pushed it open.

He was disappointed he couldn't see the person right away because the boxes obstructed his view. Instead he kicked the door shut and then peeked out from behind the boxes. "Hello? I'm assuming you're my new roommate."

He wasn't expected to be greeted by possibly the cutest human being he had ever seen in his twenty two years of living. Maybe it was the dyed hair that did it for him, maybe it was his puppy-esque looks, maybe it was the sweater paws. Either way, Alex's mouth gaped but only slightly. He collected himself enough though to kick off his sneakers and enter the living room. He flashed a smile, showcasing his secret weapon: his dimples. "If you are, nice to meet you. I'm Alexander Wang, but you can call me anytime." He winked, and then laughed. "Just kidding, but most people call me Alex."

Changmin's slightly flushed face didn't go unnoticed by Alex, who bit his lip trying to hold back a smirk. To think that his roommate was even cuter than he had expected, and he got flustered easily, how much could Alex handle before he could no longer resist the urge to squish the other male's cheeks and engulf him in a hug. However, they had only just met, so Alex decided it was better to resist the urge for now because what if Changmin wasn't into guys (Alex highly doubted this due to Changmin's flustered behavior, but hey, straight until proven gay) or what if he was uncomfortabel with skinship?

Alex tried to make further eye contact, but he wasn't successful as Changmin had covered his face. Alex smiled again. "Changmin. A pretty name to match a pretty face." He would be lying if he said he didn't enjoy teasing to other already. Alex cleared his throat and took more steps closer to Changmin. "I hope you don't mind, but I have house plants scattered around the apartment, even in your room. There are just two succulents though, nothing too big. Also, let me go put these boxes in my room and then I can help you unpack your-" Alex glanced down to see what Changmin was unpacking. Mother of- that's a lot of candles. "candles." He finished.

Alex passed by the other and made his way down the hall to his bedroom, which was still riddled with boxes of all shapes and sizes as he hadn't really unpacked all of his personal belongings just yet. Sighing to himself, Alex gently set down the two boxes in his arms next to his bed and threw his bag haphazardly next to them, stretching his back after as the boxes were heavier than they appeared.

He returned to the living room moments later and crouched down next to Changmin, peering into the box full of candles of multiple shapes, sizes, and scents. Why in the world did he have so many candles? Alex couldn't even wrap his head around the number of scents that were attacking his nasal cavities. "If you don't mind me asking, why do you have so many candles?" Alex inquired, pulling out a large, three-wick blue candle that was labelled 'Island Margarita', inspecting it curiously with his eyebrows scrunched in confusion. However, he quickly put it down. "I'm sorry, I should have asked before I touched your stuff."

Alex smiled and picked up the blue candle again along with some other candles as he helped Changmin place them around the house, trying to keep them as aesthetic looking and organized as possible. He also took extra care to make sure that none of Changmin's candles were near any of his plants. The new roommates didn't need an apartment fire when they had only just moved in. That and they would have a lot of explaining to do to the landlord if they managed to burn down the apartment complex within days of moving in. Alex would rather avoid such confrontations.

When all of the candles were set in place, Alex joined Changmin in the living room, choosing to stand rather than to sit on the couch with him. He had no particular reason for doing that except maybe give Changmin a break from his charms. Alex resisted the urge to snort at himself when he thought that. His attention, though, was immediately given to Changmin when the other asked about eating. Alex hadn't realized how hungry he was until Changmin had said something.

Alex nodded, "I'm actually hungrier than I thought I was." The raven haired male then proceeded to sit on the couch with Changmin because his legs were getting tired. Damn, moving was sure difficult and energy consuming. "What are you in the mood for? I'm not too picky of an eater, so I'm down for anything really." Alex almost added a flirty comment on the end of his statement but decided against it, holding his tongue. Instead, he turned and made eye contact with Changmin as he waited for an answer. It wasn't a hard glare, but a soft, curious look or more similar to look of someone patiently waiting for their question to be answered. But, of course, Alex got distracted by Changmin's adorableness and additionally smiled like an idiot. God, how did I get so lucky? Alex internally snorted at the abrupt thought. That makes it sound like we're dating oh my god brain stop.
