by the ways he looked up at her she realised that she had quiet obviously interrupted his process of thinking, unfortunately. she'd staid silent so as not to interrupt him but maybe it would have been better if she'd just spoken up straight away and not have given him time to even start getting lost in his own thoughts. shrugging away the guiltiness she felt over interrupting the peace between them she decided to listen to his words and reply without a pause or moment of hesitation this time.
"i'm sure it wasn't your fault. besides, would he want you to feel that way?" she mewled softly, forcing herself not to stutter over any of her soft and sweetly spoken words to the kitten. "w-well, i'm pleased to meet you dragonkit. i-i'm skylight." she meowed, blushing slightly as her common stutter appeared as she spoke to the otm-cat.
