Indeed. He is a precious cinnamon roll, too good for this world, too pure.
The rampage ends when her unfortunately crystal memory kicks in, and she panics. (If you can't tell from the brief history I wrote, Cecilia has quite the dark past, and she doesn't want to relive it)
-
I have succeeded in my secret mission to make Cecilia more interesting this time around. Now I must go. My people need me. *warps away*
But really I've had some ideas for this roleplay forever. Initially, whenever we would get to the ghosty part of the story I was gonna add in the idea that Cecilia was haunted by someone in her past because yes
I just called it the ghosty part good on me 10/10 brilliant naming skills
-
Yeah, thats probably the best choice
I probably could play more characters too but you know
-
I started to do the same thing we did last time where we wrote out a list of the characters relationships, and I have all of Cecilia's relationships with the characters who've been created oops
-
it is the exact same group save for Alex and I gave Cecilia a strange sort of relationship with her because yes. Also even though Coop and Cecilia still get along well, now she's incredibly jealous of him so thats a thing
I have expanded so much on Cecilia and the way she treats others that its ridiculous but it is SO fun
Also I really want to see how Alex feels about everyone
-
Most of these are the same, with just a few things added, save for Alex. But eh.
Donovan
Cecilia didn't like Donovan very much when she was first adopted, and was extremely wary of him, fearful that he would be overbearing and overwhelming as a father, or that he would charge her as a demon in the same way her old parents had. But as they grew closer, she discovered that she had bonded with him more than initially expected, and he quickly became one of the few people she feels comfortable around, and although she never acknowledges, or knows how to bring it up, she's very grateful for all the help he's given her over the years, whether it was subtly or obviously. He is very clearly her preferred parent. She has not thought of him as only an adoptive parent since they grew closer, thinking of him as her actual father. Despite this, she still has not spoken in front of him.
Vivian
Like with Donovan, Cecilia didn't like Vivian very much when she was first adopted, for much of the same reasons. The difference is while Cecilia grew close to Donovan, her relationship with Vivian never seemed to grow past a mutual respect for one another. Secretly Cecilia yearns for a closer relationship with her 'mother', similar to Cooper's relationship with her, but for Cecilia this requires an emotional connection, one that Vivian's cold exterior and Cecilia's own shyness seems to block. She does appreciate her mother, but holds the slightest bit of bitterness due to this lack of a connection which she so desperately yearns for, but can't seem to achieve. Its easy to see why her mother has never heard her voice.
Finn
Cecilia cannot stand this boy in any way, shape, or form. In her eyes, his only redeeming quality is that he's not a complete idiot. Though some say the two share the same sarcasm, she denies any sort of relation with him- and this includes even acknowledging that they live in the same house and share the surname 'Plastic'. She finds him unnecessarily arrogant, and hates his rude nature. The girl believes he's too full of himself for his own good, and can't stand the thought of him- much less that some of her friends actually find the a**hole 'attractive'. She can't bring herself to even think he's worth looking at, much less appreciating his supposed looks. The one thing she finds interesting is the fact that the two stand eye to eye, which means that he can't belittle her for being short. Despite the two technically 'seeing' eye to eye, they don't do so metaphorically. They can't find anything to agree upon, and the two siblings would rather ignore each other. Cecilia can't stand being in the same room as Finn, much less speaking to him, so he is unlikely to ever hear her voice.
Light
Cecilia isn't exactly best friends with Light, but they have a strong bond which cannot be broken. While their pasts are extremely different, Light's filled with destruction of herself and Cecilia's riddled with violence towards others, the two understand each other in the sense that neither of them view their past nostalgically in any way. Instead, they view it with a sense of distaste, which the two have bonded over. Though the others don't know it, Light is the only one to actually have seen Cecilia full out crying before. This was also the first time Cecilia spoke to Light since they had met, her walls immediately crumbling in the sympathy offered by her 'sister'. While the two don't see eye to eye on many things, they also understand each other in so many ways, and they have forged bonds that can't be formed any other way. Despite this mutual understanding, however, they don't regularly hang out much, as Light has her hobbies and Cecilia has hers. Cecilia looks up quite a bit to Light, and though she doesn't wish to take the same path she did to get where she is, Cecilia wants to someday be as open and sympathetic as Light is. Cecilia speaks a bit to Light, mostly about random stuff, and only a few sentences at a time.
Jiyong
To be completely honest, when Cecilia first met Jiyong, she completely hated his existence. She found him rather annoying, considering that he was the biggest flirt she'd met. The girl also hated his tendency to be a dick, as well as the fact that he was a bit full of himself. So she distanced herself from him, trying her very best to ignore him. But as they began to live together, she noticed several things about him begin to pop up. The boy was sensitive to high heaven. If jokes were made about him, he would take it, but his eyes looked angry, as though he was hurt by them, angered by the jokes made at his expense. He also was a stubborn, and almost childish person at times, ignoring people for days on end if he doesn't get his way, a treatment she herself has been subjected to. It was hard to snap him out of this stubborn state, especially due to her shy nature, but eventually the tension within the household dissipated as he began to act relatively normal towards her again. She's noticed that he can actually become quite sad, a trait which she never really cared about before. She's also noticed that he's quite affectionate, especially towards those he likes. The thing is, its hard for even her to decipher the difference between him liking someone and him just hugging someone because he wants to. She's given up trying. She's very interested in him, and is trying to initiate a close relationship. Despite this, her only reason for trying to get close to him is because she wants to see what makes him tick. She still doesn't like his personality very much. He has very rarely heard her voice, in her lame attempts to actually speak to him and overcome her shyness.
Alexandra
Alexandra is interesting, to say the least, and their relationship is very similar to that statement. Strange would be a better word for the way they act towards each other. The two are near polar opposites of each other. While Cecilia is a nervous girl stretched to fit a tall body, Alex is a bada** packed into a small package. But Cecilia knows that this is not all there is to her 'sister', and is constantly observing her when given the chance and trying to decipher what makes her tick- in a completely non-creepy way of course. She's deduced that the attitude that Alex portrays is not one that is true to her actual persona, but rather the way she wants to be seen. But other than that, her older 'sister' is an enigma. Cecilia knows she smokes, and doesn't approve- especially because she's asthmatic- but she knows that Alex wouldn't listen to anything she said, if Cecilia could even get a word past her lips. She's aware of her sisters singing ability as well, and sometimes wants to join in, but has not yet. Alex has only heard Cecilia's voice once, when they first met and had to introduce themselves to each other.
Cooper
Cooper is perhaps one of the only people in the house that Cecilia feels actually understands her need for solitude with a good book. Because of this, he is also one of the few house members with complete permission to enter her room without having an encyclopedia thrown in their general direction. She often ends up a few books behind Cooper in a series, which is fine with her, given that he gives them back as soon as he finishes. He does not, however, have complete permission to her room, and they have a sort of respect code between them, where Cooper can only borrow a book given she gives him permission. However, their relationship is not completely perfect. She's jealous of Cooper's natural brilliance, being a grade below her despite being three years younger. She also wishes that she had a similar relationship with their mother that Cooper has with Vivian. Even if neither of them realize it, its incredibly obvious that Cooper is Vivian's favorite, and vice versa. She also wont forgive even him if he doesn't tell her when he borrows a book, whether in person or via sticky note, an experience that only happened once, and thankfully didn't get much further than a death glare that scared the pants off her 'brother'. Cooper is the only member of the household to hear Cecilia speak on a regular basis, although her voice is still very quiet around him.
Holy crap thats a lot of writing. (I'll also add to this as more characters join in)

AND NOW SHE'S BETTER?!
This is wonderful
-
(Psssst! Genesis! I don't want to sound rude but Cecilia is actually 15. Not 13.)
(Also, I may end up making oldest son if no one takes him by next Tuesday)
-
Its fine.
I'm gonna wait a few more days before officially claiming him, to give other people more of a chance to join.
Also, accidentally made Light and Cecilia close-ish in my relationship list but hey too late now
-
Well I certainly see some mother-daughter bonding on the way for Viv and Lia. I mean, both want to be closer to each other, so eventually they'll get there!
-
Should be fine. I was only gonna take him if no one else wanted him.
-
Yup! Totally fine with me

*bumps thread in a vague attempt to attract people to come and sign-up and/or plot*

Yay we're getting the hot one!

Oh my god I love him already.
But Cecilia's gonna hate him at first.
Jesus he's hot

I'm good with it too.
This is going to be wonderful!

We have the beginning plot set in place
Where Cooper (little twelve year old genius) gets in a fight and the family kinda divides on what to do about it
-
I... Actually don't know. I know I've thought of a bunch of random side plots concerning my charrie, Cecilia, but I guess those would be best activated at random after a main plot.
So
HOW TO MAKE FIRST PLOT FUN
-
Its mentioned in... I'm pretty sure pages 5 and 6
