The plump chocolate body of a stout tomcat trotted forward to where the Blackheart leader was calling everyone and explaining the Olympics that would soon take place. This actually interested the six-moon-old son of Euphoria and Thornvision, who stifled a soft sigh as he seated himself beside a black smoke who he knew as his half brother. The polite, amber-eyed trainee smiled gently over to the other tomcat, attempting to give him a brotherly nudge in the shoulder. "Hello, Novak." Benjamin's voice was laced with a sophisticated tone that proved he certainly had manners that he wouldn't be afraid to lose. Even as an anti-clanner he knew that manners, pleases and thank yous were almost mandatory.

After a split second passed the Blackheart trainee looked back towards Grimgrin, nodding his head in an up and down motion that showed he understood. Step forward? Don't? In all honesty, the chocolate-pelted tomcat wasn't too sure. Would it be a good idea to represent the camp during the Olympics? Sure it would! After all, there was going to hopefully be some trivia and fun activites would give Benjamin some exercise and would get him to socialize throughout the clans and groups. And so the insecure tomcat stepped forward in a hesitant manner, lifting a chocolate-colored front paw as he did so.

Benjamin had to admit that he enjoyed living in the asylum with his family and the other member of the Blackheart Rogues. The alleyways made great places to just trot around and examine everything that would deem to be interesting to a trainee Benjamin's age. Sure, it did smell of rotting garbage in some areas but generally the sophisticated tomcat enjoyed exploring and getting more familiar to his surroundings. He had already calculated that everything looked perfect for a battle; lots of dark nooks and crannies and a whole bunch of maze-like alleys that would surely throw off any enemies. He had only really realized this!

Anyways, the amber eyes tomcat known as Benjamin decided that on this day he had been feeling rather sociable and talkative. Perhaps he'd make a new friend in his spare time? Or maybe converse with some of his siblings and half-siblings. After all, he had finished up some hunting for the day and getting to know family was always first on his priority lift. Family meant everything; if you didn't have family, who would there be to comfort you in times of need? And so the sleek trainee trotted back to the asylum with his coat neatly groomed, looking around with those handsome amber eyes that shone like two stars up in the silken sky.

The polite yet heavyset chocolate tomcat let a chuckle emit from his throat in a deep tone as his calico sister pranced up in that dazzling and chirpy way. Although Benjamin was in no way similar to Rhys, who was a sweet and excitable young she-cat, the six-moon-old trainee enjoyed his sister's company. She was like a source of beaming light; so radiant and fun to be around and so seemingly close. Benjamin let a smile appear on his maw, attempting to lightly tap her shoulder back as she playfully nudged his shoulder. "Hey there, Rhyssie." Benjamin called the mottled-pelted trainee by her nickname, tail flicking about in uttermost placidness.

The right side of his lip curled up into a more enthusiastic grin as Rhys also stepped up, not at all shy and hesitant like he himself had been. Now that he knew that at least his sister was taking part it didn't seem too bad. Hey, he would probably have fun during these games and hopefully there would be wide variety of them! "Yeah, I'm joining in too." Benjamin mewed with a light chirp, looking towards Crescentmoon and dipping his head in a simply and laid-back congrats.

"Hello Novak, Rhyssie. Hello mother." It was the soft, cooing sound of sophisticated Benjamin that sounded next as a stocky yet short figure trotted forward up to the group of cats that had gathered here. The chocolate trainee usually wasn't the one to join big groups and socialize much, but it seemed that two of his siblings and his mother was here, so all was good. After, Benjamin had always enjoyed the company of his family and any good friends that he had yet to meet. He dipped his head to the other cats that hadn't received a greeting from him before sitting back up again and seat himself next to Euphoria.

Benjamin's short ears perked up intently as his mother spoke in an odd tone, one that the formal tomcat hadn't heard much of in the past. The oracle was usually sweet and enthusiastic, no? But he wasn't going to argue, considering that he now seemed to enjoy the polite voice Euphoria had spoke in. He answered her question back in the same tone, a small smile growing on his maw as he conversed with the oracle while his amber eyes looked about at his sibling and half sibling. "I'm fine. It'a a nice day today, isn't it?"

Benjamin had made sure he was active around the clan he called home, patrolling around the ark nooks and crannies of the alleyway and making sure everything was well in the asylum. The chocolate tomcat had even had some time to converse with both his half-brother Novak and his chirpy sister Rhys during the meeting about the Olympics that were soon to take place. He rather enjoyed spending time with family, and his mother Euphoria was a happy and sweet oracle so there had been no pain or depression for the trainee himself. Life was bliss for the six moon old at the moment.

Anyways, two bright amber orbs scanned the alleyway as the stout chocolate trainee looked to and fro. He was on the lookout for anything in particular: trespassers, pro-clanners, clanmates and even possible joiners. After all, the Blackheart Rogues did need to boost up their reputation as a sturdy and ongoing group and not be seen as vulnerable to larger predator clans. Benjamin stopped walking in his slow and steady pace as the face of an Irish Wolfhound came into clear sight, calling out for any Blackhearts because he was interested in joining. A small smile made it's way up onto the mouth of this particular tomcat, speaking to the dog with that sophisticated and polite tone that he made sure was always present in his speech. "Good day, sir. May I enquire as to why you are in our territory?"

The polite chocolate trainee had worked well the past couple days, making sure to guard the borders and welcome any new members with that kind smile that seemed to light up the hearts of many. He had even managed to chat with his beloved family members a little, which did indeed make the trainee himself feel great. Even if those chats were just measly 'hellos' and other greetings they were worthwhile to the amber-eyed tomcat known as Benjamin. The dark-furred tomcat heard the various mews coming from the asylum that he called home, noticing that serval figure of Tango, the blue smoke known as Isenguard, his beloved sister Rhys and two other cats he had't yet met up close and personal.

Benjamin trotted forward, just knowing that this was a herb training that Tango and Isenguard were probably holding together. They were two of the oracles, after all. His electric yellow eyes first looked towards Tango and then to his apprentice Isenguard, and then finally towards the red tabby and the tortie smoke she-cats. The son of Euphoria passed a sweet smile towards Rhys, delighted to be in her presence. He had seemed to grow closer to her, and it made him feel warm and excitable inside. "Good days, sirs, ma'ams. Hello Rhyssie. I take it that this is an open herb training?" Benjamin's mew was sophisticated and formal, strong and powerful.

Benjamin's posture was still and formal, his slender tail neatly yet loosely wrapped around his two little front paws that he had set next to each other upon seating himself. He was, in all honesty, quite comfortable being so polite and formal around strangers and the others who had been born Blackhearts. Once the spotted serval spoke about and asked about marigold the chocolate tomcat simply nodded his head up and down in a placid motion, deep in thought. This was a simple herb (much like cobwebs) that many of the others had seemed to already memorized. Being one of the sons of Euphoria, it was no misconception stating that Benjamin already knew what the yellow-petaled flower did. But he waited for the ladies and gent to finish speaking before speaking himself, amber eyes fixed on Tango and his young apprentice, Isenguard.

"Marigold, mister Tango sir? I do do believe the marigold is one of the prime examples of a herb that has the abilities to clear away infection as miss Perry, miss Flamenco, miss Rhys and mister Nuril have already stated." At last the deep mew escaped from Benjamin's mouth, his tail tip twitching with the ever so small thought that maybe his accusation was incorrect.

Benjamin had also decided to spend the morning watching the sunrise over the honey-colored horizon, enjoying the peace and harmony that it seemed to give to him and his clanmates. Bright rays of a red inferno and molten gold shimmered across the early morning sky, practically forming a little show for the Blackheart trainee that seemed to be captivated by it all. It was a magnificent morning already, which would hopefully evolve into a great day of good catches and little injuries for the oracles to treat.

The chocolate tomcat trotted forward with a small grin spread across his face, tail almost brushing the ground in a gingerly way as he politely and sophisticatedly nodded to each of the cats that had gathered for a quick chat. Benjamin mewed out each of his greeting with uttermost kindness lingering in that deep voice of his. "Good morning, mister Koplin sir. Hello mister Grimgrin and hello miss Caesarea. Good morning dear sister Ryssie. Beautiful morning, isn't it?"

Benjamin, who was usually independent during the warm daytimes, had decided to trail after his sweet and slightly flirtatious calico sister upon hearing the loud call of Euphoria from the oracle's den. The chocolate tomcat had also attended a multitude of meetings, ranging from Tango's herb training lesson to the meeting about the Olympics that the Blackhearts were to attend. You certainly could say that the sophisticated young trainee preferred to be among the early arrivals during these meetings, just because he wanted to set a good example for the others that perhaps were a little younger than his six-moon-old self.

The chocolate tomcat tilted his head as the smell of herbs suddenly bombarded his nose: smells from the pretty, light purple lavender to the rather bitter smell of some certain leaves that Benjamin couldn't classify with his little amount of herb knowledge received from Tango's class. Anyways, the amber-eyed aristocrat seated himself nearby the others, gently dipping his head to them all before turning to hi mother with a warm, loving smile. "Hello, mother. You called?"

Benjamin had been patrolling the asylum's borders carefully that day. Being a perfectionist he had gotten use to wanting to make sure each nook and cranny was secured from trespassers or possible joiners, but that wasn't possible all the time. Meetings and gatherings got in the way of his chores sometimes, but the chocolate pelted tomcat simply shrugged it off and (in a sophisticated manner) left his patrolling behind to attend whatever meeting he needed to attend. Of course the polite and formal son of Euphoria didn't want to be seen as a bad influence by not attending the meetings held by his higher ups, of course!

But today was a good day, and the dark-pelted trainee had managed to trot around and secure a good amount of the alleyway and asylum. The strong scent of a non-Blackheart hit his nose powerfully, and it was almost obvious that this particular cat was somewhere nearby. Benjamin slunk his way around the corner of the alleyway he had been padding through, noticing that a blue-eyed figure was standing right near the asylum. His deep voice sounded out after Sacrifice had spoken his words, curious as to why the Elite-smelling tomcat wanting to see the black-furred leader. "Hello, good sir. May I ask why you are here?"

Benjamin's maw opened widely to reveal a set of sharp ivory teeth, letting a yawn stifle as he stretched his plump body out. His deep chocolate fur just about absorbed the sun that shone down through the littered alleyway of the asylum, warming the son of Euphoria and Thornvision a considerably desirable amount. It had been a little windy the past day, so it was nice for some change in the weather for this sophisticated trainee who everyone knew as Benjamin. His two dark shaded yellow eyes flickered open after his brief stretch, hearing the sound of Grimgrin calling a meeting and calling out what was to change. Almost instinctually the tomcat jumped to his little nimble paws, trotting over to stand beside his sister and listen in further.

Benjamin's lips curled into a placid smile as his beloved mother arrived to the herb training that Tango had started. It was true that the chocolate-pelted trainee enjoyed the company of his largely extended family, such as his full sister Rhys and his half brother Novak. They were all important in his life somehow, as if Benjamin's family had been woven together to form a tight-knit bond that was hard to break. Over the course of this moon it had seemed that the trainee had become increasingly close to his calico sister, and it felt nice to have her as a close friend.

"Hello, mother." Benjamin warmly smiled over to the happy oracle with those molten honey eyes of his, nodding his head as she spoke after him. "Is there another remedy for infections, mother? I had always thought marigold was the only herb able to cure that." The sophisticated and polite mew was true; Benjamin had always lived under the thought that marigold could only heal infections and no other herbs. Well, he learned something new each day, it seemed!

Benjamin now seated himself near where Koplin had sunk down to his blue tabby paws, tail tip twitching before finally coiling around his nimble and sturdy set of paws. He had nodded when the white tail-tippped Blackheart had greeted him, so now the chocolate tomcat was left to think up a good sentence to perhaps start a conversation between the two. There was lots to talk about, actually: the sunrise that was taking place, yesterdays hunting and patrols, family...the list went on! His two amber eyes flickered over to the deputy as she answered his question about the morning being beautiful, causing a light smile to form on his maw as he looked her way.

"Koplin sir, how are you doing this morning? Enjoying the Blackheart Rogues?" Eventually the son of Euphoria and Thornvision settles with a simple 'how are you?', which would hopefully get the new Blackheart talking some more.

Benjamin's eyes looked here to there, his large ears picking up the conversation that was staring between his clanmates about this new system. The plump-figured chocolate trainee actually thought that this would be effective for training; a specific mentor that was meant to train only him would obviously prove to be good. After all, there would be much more communication between trainee and mentor which would hopefully form good bonds and allow them to create some great battle moves for protection and war.

The stout son of Euphoria and Thornvision's eyes looked towards his mother as she spoke, exclaiming that she would help both him and his sister find a suitable mentor that would help them learn how to defend for themselves and teach them all there was to know about being a Blackheart. He liked that his oracle mother was looking out for her children; it made Benjamin feel warm inside and proud to be related to the elated she-cat. "That would be lovely mother, thank you."

Benjamin, much like his mother, enjoyed having family time to catch up with siblings and other relatives. The stout chocolate trainee liked to just sit around with a few good friends and family menmebrs, just chatting away like old buddies that had gone on some incredible journeys with one another. That probably wasn't going to be the case this time, but Benjamin knew that family time was always a fun time and he wasn't going to be the one to miss out. In fact, he was the first one to arrive upon hearing his mother's call.

"Hello, mother!" The short and plump little trainee smiled upwards at Euphoria, amber orbs gleaming with a misty admiration lingering within them. You could say that Benjamin was glad to have the oracle as a mother and not a mother that didn't care and didn't arrange times for family get-togethers. "How are you doing? Collecting lots of herbs with mister Tango and mister Isenguard?" Benjamin purred towards Euphoria, sitting down placidly and immediately trying to start up a conversation.

Benjamin let his chocolate head dip as his mother began to speak in an oddly sharp tone which didn't seem to match up with her usual sweetness and happiness. Well, the death of a family member (especially a siblings) would obviously be hard on anyone, so the fact didn't shake the trainee too much. It was a real pity that an uncle of his had passed away and Benjamin himself hadn't even gotten the time to really talk to him. Remington had seemed to be a popular cat in the Blackheart Rogues before his death and it really did upset the son of Euphoria and Thornvision, even if they hadn't been as close as him and Rhys. A loss of a family member was a terrible thing indeed.

The respectful trainee waited until the oracle finished her speech before considering speaking, lifting his head so his handsome, flaming yellow eyes lined up with hers. "I'm very sorry for your loss, mother. For our loss." The stout-figured, deep-voiced tomcat spoke silently, trying to aim a lightening smile towards his grieving mother to calm her down and brighten her mood.

"Ah, I see. I'm guessing the burdock root has to be chewed up a considerable amount before applying it to the wound?" The stout chocolate tomcat spoke with sophistication obvious in his speech, nodding his head and replying once his mother had spoken, saying that his two sisters were correct by saying that chervil and burdock root made great remedies for infection. Deep in though, Benjamin was thinking about what had just been said by him. It made sense; there was no way that a stiff root would be about to be a suitable healing device without chewing it into a poultice or cream to smoothen across the skin or wounded area. Well, he'd wait for what Euphoria would say next about that.

Benjamin's thoughts were clouded as he let a purr rumble softly in his throat whilst his mother gave him and his two sisters (Rhys and Rochelle) a few quick nuzzles of admiration. He closed his gleaming, almost golden amber eyes for a couple split seconds during his mother's nuzzle, a little smile curving around his maw contently. He liked signs of affection from his family and friends; it made him and his presence feel much welcomed and appreciated.

In all honesty, Benjamin had almost (although reluctantly) offered to try the gleaming red berries that seemed to be so deceiving and cozening in their own way. They seemed to look so perfect in shape, almost desirable to some extent. Then again, his two sisters seemed to be shying away from their mother's offer already, questioning wether or not it was worth trying them. And so the chocolate tomcat was left to think: take the offer and try them or state that that were probably poisonous, like both Rhys and Rochelle were questioning.

"Perhaps it's poisonous?" Two dark yellow eyes narrowed at the holly berries, curiosity flooding young Benjamin's mind with a countless amount of questions and hypothesises. The trainee had remembered seeing a couple of these around before, so tried to grab around for the name that the red berries wore. "Or maybe they're boysenberries? No, no, not boysenberries...huckleberries? Bearberries?"

The newly promoted oracle trainee trotted in closely after his pretty mother, slender tail swishing this way and that in a rather relaxed and laid-back fashion. As well as that, his ears were perked up, ready for any cry of pain or call out for any of the oracles or anything at all that he needed to help with. His dark, cocoa chocolate fur was neatly groomed and slicked back due to a large amount of licks, partly due to that side of Benjamin that proved he was an absolute perfectionist at times. Even in his speech the tomcat showed his strive for being perfect: his sophisticated voice, tone and everything.

Anyways, Benjamin knew even though he was going to be majoring in the study of herbs and their uses, he needed to be tip-top with his fighting skills as well. After all, he could only imagine what would happen if he were to suddenly be attacked with little to no battle knowledge lingering in his mind. Surely that wouldn't be too great of a situation, correct? And so Benjamin nodded as he stood up beside the deputy and oracle, the small little smile present on his maw. "Hello mother, hello Caesarea, ma'am. Perhaps I could get some battle training as well?" His two large eyes looked over towards his mother for guidance, wanting to know if she approved of his will to get to know a few basic battle moves.

Benjamin was still pondering on his thought about the berries, but when his mother began to explain that they were indeed deadly his ears perked up once again and he listened intently. So, they were holly berries? Also known as yew and death berries? The name seemed to make sense, considering that a medium and large dose of the round little berries were enough to lethally put a patient into an even trickier situation than before. The chocolate tomcat definitely didn't want to ever come across those again and dearly hoped none of his family or friends would end up eating them accidentally. And so the trainee nodded as his mother with an understanding glint in those bright eyes of his.

And then Euphoria said something that really made Benjamin want to jump out of his seat. He was promoted to oracle apprentice? At first Benjamin had tilted his head (thinking he had mistaken the oracle's words for something else) before finally realizing that he had been promoted. That smile of his widened into something large; an elated grin that really showed that the chocolate tomcat was eager and wanted to not let his mother down at all. After all, this was a huge honor for the accomplished little trainee. He felt very happy at this point in time, almost not sure how to reply to his mother. "Thank...thank you, mother. I won't let you down, promise."

And then came the congrats and from first Rochelle. She didn't seem to enthusiastic considering her simple 'cool', but Benjamin was totally fine with that. She was his sister and he loved her anyways. Rhys was the next to explode with joy and obvious excitement, licking the chocolate oracle trainee on the cheek and gushing out a hearty congrats that Benjamin felt flattering. A rare, informal chuckle erupted from the newly promoted tomcat's throat as his sister returned to her seat, amused by his favorite sister's likeable personality. At last he nodded over to Thor (who was probably a newcomer) and spoke with that sophisticated voice of his. "Thank you, Rochelle, Rhyssie and you too, sir."

Benjamin settled down at last as his mother announced her next question, coiling his tail around his large and chubby paws before letting a minor huff of his breath out, thinking hard. he had surely known what the herb was called before, but it seemed to have just completely slipped from his mind. "Mallow, perhaps?" The tomcat took a wildcard, throwing out his guess once his sassy sister Rochelle had answered with her guess.
