Twilight climbed the steep, rocky path, hoping to find treasure on the other side. She was lonely on the journey though, without any company. However, she though that was going to change once she had her paws on the masses of treasure...

Twilight heard a very slight fluttering of wings but didn't think much of it. As she turned around to look at the noise maker all she saw was a cloud, but oddly it was moving, although it was a clear, still night without a trace of wind. Twilight finally got to the top of the path and looked down. But all she saw was....

Twilight shivered. She carefully placed a paw down gingerly on a cat skull, with a gentle moan. As she walked through the battlefield graveyard, she heard a moan. By now, Twilight was almost certain that someone or something was following her, so she stared at the sky. Up there, there was an eerie ghostly shape which made Twilight think of a bad memory....

Since it was getting dark, Twilight felt a sharp pain in the front of her mouth. She realized she was getting her vampire teeth, which always happened around this time. She was half cat, half human and a bit of vampire. Her mum was a human - cat (or a cat - human) called Saffron. She'd (Saffron) met a half vampire half human person, and together they'd had Twilight. But soon after the vampire dad died and Twilight was kidnapped, meaning she was separated from her mum. Once Twilight got out from the place where she was held whilst kidnapped, she searched high and low for her mother. The ghostly shape in the sky reminded her of a spooky dark night in the place where she was taken to when kidnapped.
