Valentine looked up at him and wondered if the wand they'd be getting was anything like the one she had brought, which wasn't a wand but a knitting tool, used to wind the yarn on. She wondered why he said they didn't want to wind up dead. Was there anything dangerous around here? She walked quietly before finally asking, timidly, "Can non magic people find this place?" She was thinking of her dad and stepmom, and hoping the answer was no.

Valentine jumped a little as the boy cut them off, then she looked up at Roger as he answered her question. At first she felt relieved when he said no, but then he said the only.. somethings.. and she wasn't entirely sure what that word was he had used. "What's a mug-gul?" She asked quietly, puzzled and not sure what he was saying.

(sorry, I was super busy and didn't get to come online yesterday, and not much today, and won't be here much tomorrow :( )

Valentine looked up at him as he explained what a muggle was. "M-my parents are muggles then." She said really quietly, remembering how he said parents of muggleborns were allowed to come here. "Will they be allowed here?" She asked hesitantly, looking clearly frightened as she stood in the doorway of the shop.

Valentine bit her lip and thought for a moment about his reply. She wasn't sure if they knew anything about this place, and she didn't even know how to get here, so she supposed she was probably safe, right?

But now, how to answer his question? "Um.." She looked down at her feet, and hoped no one would notice the holes showing in the toes of her shoes. "N-no reason." She said quickly, hoping he wouldn't press the issue, but doubting that he would let it slide.

She glanced around the place. "How do I find the right one?" She asked quietly and timidly, not sure what she was supposed to do to pick a wand.

(um.. idk. anyone out there wanna play ollivander?!)

Valentine looked up at him, wondering who this other guy was, but she was too timid to keep asking question after question, so she didn't. She looked down and hoped the person wouldn't take too long getting to them, but that other boy seemed to be demanding the man's attention.

(i'm gonna find out what wood and core to use, then i'll let whoever plays ollivander know what it'll be.)

(soooo sorry for the long wait! christmas and new years.. really busy!)

Valentine bit her lip and stood hesitantly, shyly looking down at her shoes when the attention was brought to her.

(sorry, i was really busy over the holidays and stuff)

Doxy listened as she replied, and nodded. "I see." She replied, emotionlessly. She took a few more deep breaths, then stood up rather smoothly. That was an advantage to being a vampire, she could move so gracefully, or quickly, that it could be somewhat amazing to mortals. Pausing briefly, she turned and held a hand down to the other girl, so she could help her up, if Jayden would take it.

Zairia shrugged. "Wherever we want to go. Lead the way." She said, smiling as she motioned for him to go first this time. She glanced back at the owls and smiled. They were pretty cute, but she knew they would probably be rather fierce too. She didn't think it would be fun to have her eyes put out by that sharp beak, or those talons. She turned back to Leon and waited for him to lead the way back down the stairs.
(sounds good.. they could fall through the stairs maybe? or something like that.. idk)

    (lol, sounds fun!)

She pulled her up, then let go of her hand. She paused for a moment. "Doxy." She replied to her question. She caught a small flash of thoughts from the other girl, and smiled slightly, though with a more frightening look than warm and friendly, as the frightening, creepy effect was more her intent. "Be assured, you have every reason to be afraid." She said flatly.

She thought for a moment. "In fact, you would have had much reason to fear me even when I was still as you are. I had become a rather good assassin back then..." She added thoughtfully, sighing a little from the memory. The one who'd made her had taken a good assassin and made her into a nearly perfect assassin. Of course, even then she'd had a nearly perfect system. After all, who would expect a 16 year old young lady to be an assassin?

Now she killed for different reasons, but it had been many years since she conversed with another person, whether vampire or human. So she wasn't entirely sure what to say to Jayden. "You should probably go home. I'm sure your parents must be concerned that you aren't home yet." She said, beginning to take a few steps backward as if to leave.

(I thought i'd give it a bit of an interesting twist, making her a former assassin :D)

(that's ok, I didn't have a working computer until now, lol. sorry also for the late reply)

Valentine looked down shyly at the compliment, and then hesitantly reached for the wand he was handing her. She was a little surprised when he took it away again, and started thinking maybe there wasn't any wand for her, when he kept pulling it away before she could touch it. She stood quietly when he held the last one out toward her, and figured he'd just pull it away again before she could touch it.

At last she slowly reached for it, and when he didn't pull it away, she was able to grab the handle. Then she jumped when spark flew out of it like fireworks, and almost dropped the wand in fright from the sudden sparks.
