"Well of course I'm not mad," Sweetie Belle replied, not wanting to make friend feel any more conflicted than she already was. "I was just... surprised, is all. Didn't really plan on you having a crush, let alone me."

Sweetie Belle brought her eyes up, making eye contact once again. "Yeah... S'pose it is..."
-
With that, Sweetie Belle couldn't help but notice how close they were at that moment. The two of them. Alone. Together. Touching, almost. And she wanted more. "I'm not worried, I'm just... Thinking." She scooted ever-so-closer, almost touching her flank to the filly next to her. "...'Bout stuff..."
-
"Well, you know how earlier I was thinking about you and Applebloom being together... Now all this has me thinking about you and I..." She scooted a bit closer again. "I have a very vivid imagination..."
-
"Now Scootaloo, before I get ahead of myself, before I get my hopes up about anything," Sweetie Belle explained, putting her hooves on her friend's shoulders, "I need to know- Was what you said true? Do you like me?"
-
{Target sighted. Taking the shot...}
"That's good... 'Cause if you didn't, then you'd probably hate me for this." With that, Sweetie Belle took hold of Scootaloo's face in both hooves and dove in, mashing their lips together.
{...Direct hit. That's a kill.}
-
With that, Big Mac put on a sly smirk, responding, "Over'n yonder barn." He nodded his head toward the door at the same time to emphasize his point.
-
It was quick, it was far from practiced, and it was sloppy, if one were to critique it, but Sweetie Belle didn't really care at that point. Once she'd gotten her fill, she pulled away, staring back at Scootaloo with a newfound blush of her own.

{Wait wait wait, a realistic passage of time and a reason to have another major battle? That will take months!}

"Umm... Is something supposed to be happening?" Nearby, Rainbow Dash was standing on top of another pit of mud, firmly planted on top instead of sinking in. "Yes, actually- I assume you're quite used to cloudwalking, correct?" "Of course!" "Well, you have to let go of that ability for a bit, or else the mud will just be solid ground to you." "Oh, so that's why I suck at swimming, okay..." With that, Rainbow Dash shifted out of her natural stance and instantly fell into the mud, sinking much quicker than Applejack. "GYAAaaah, now that feels weeeeiiiirrrd..."
-
"You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that," Sweetie Belle confessed lightheartedly.
-
The two were interrupted as a familiar orange cowpony peered in the doorway. "Hey, 'ave either y'all seen mah..." She paused once she saw the two so close together. Blushing. Alone. "...Hat..."
-
"Alraht then," Applejack shrugged and turned to leave. "You saw nothing!" Sweetie Belle shouted after her, her voice cracking slightly. "Oh don't worry, mah lips're sealed." "NOTHING!" Before Applejack could reply again, Sweetie's horn lit up, causing the door to slam behind the cowpony.
-
{No, just that it makes sense that any pegasi would be able to, since most liquid substances, including mud, water, and muddy water, are quite a bit more dense than a cloud, and if pegasi can walk on clouds, the ability to go jesus mode on water and the like would be a given. Also, if you hadn't noticed, whenever a pegasus 'hits' a cloud, they react the same way they would if they ran into a this wall. I'm just drawing parallels, really.}
{...Also, I have to say I'm a bit disturbed by Applejack's thought process here.}
"About seven-to-ten minutes," Aloe replied, pulling on a switchcord that hung from the ceiling. A privacy screen dropped from the rafters, separating the two visitors from each other as well as the rest of the spa.
After a few moments of silence, Rainbow Dash spoke again. "You know, this ain't so bad. Feels kinda nice, don'cha think?"
-
Did she just..? Rainbow Dash decided not to question what Applejack had been doing. "Maybe I should come over more often, then, if you've got this stuff everywhere."
-
"What now?" Sweetie Belle looked up at her horn, pawing at it with a hoof. "Eh, I guess it was a heat-of-the-moment thing. I really wanted that door closed..."
-
{Ist das eine herausforderung, mein freund?}
With that, Sweetie Belle's eyes snapped back to Scootaloo while a devilish smirk came across her face. "Oh c'mere, you!" she said as she did nothing less than tackling the pegasus, returning the kiss with a competitive enthusiasm.
-
"Hey, I can't just do whatever I want with the weather. It's not that I control it, I just... keep it in check. Like, uh... wrangling, I guess." Rainbow Dash stirred an idle hoof in the mud, not really having anything else to talk about at the moment.
Another minute or so passed in silence. Eventually, Rainbow Dash felt it would be appropriate to speak again. Awkward day, awkward situation... Wouldn't be right if we didn't have an awkward convo', right? "So Applejack, I have a question..."
-
Sweetie Belle broke away, but not without noticing how easily she'd gotten the two of them in a position which she hadn't actually planned at first. "Are you thinkin' what I'm thinkin'?" she asked, the mischief still evident in her smirk. It wasn't even on purpose, but her horn lit up again just before a soft 'click' came from the door as it locked. "...'Cause after all, I have a very vivid imagination, and you're making this way too easy..."
{Gettin' thick up in here... Good thing I installed those privacy curtains before we started shooting.}

{I know, thus why I made 'Mature' and 'Explicit' separate options for maturity rating. See, I'm a smart person when I'm not being an obnoxious sack of ADD.}
