    Name: Scarlet [Scar]
    Age: 19
Looks: Named from the markings that had been carved into her body. She held herself in a tall willow like figure, slim with small supple curves. On her face a thin white mark traced down her cheek to her jaw, standing out even against her pale clear skin.. Her eyes were her most stunning feature, a cold crystal blue, bright as a flame as they shone even in dark. Her hair was as black as midnight, and she wore it in a long braid. Reaching her waist with bangs that lined her cheeks. She would often be found with a small raven nestled in her hood.
    Rank(maid,guard,kings council member): Assassin
    ~ Animal ~
    Name: Tod
    Age: Unknown
Looks: A small black raven. His black feathers darker than night with a normal wing length.
    Rank:...Bird

Blowing a strand of hair out of her face Scar looked up at the tower, Tod peering out of her hood to get a glance as well. The small bird looked at her with his head cocked to the side. Scar looked back at him. "Yeah, but someone has to do it." Scar sighed to him. Tod pecked at her nose lovingly and spread his wings to take off. Scar grumbled at his absence mumbling, "Damn bird always leaves when there is work to be done. Typical." Removing the picks from her robes, she latched them to the bands on her wrists. The small silver hooks would allow her to dig into the ridges of the stone, making the climb to the window possible. Wasting no time she dug into the stone, with grace and ease she made her way up the tower wall and to the window. The sun was setting, and she was counting on the small amount of fog that lay around the castle to hide her. Just as she opened the window Tod landed on her shoulder, peering out from the hood. Without looking Scar jumped into the room without a sound. She gave herself a moment of pride before looking around, only to find the beautiful princess not ten yards away...

Scar looked at her momentarily before dashing behind the princess, pressing a dagger to her back. Just as she was about to speak a there was a knock on the door. A male's voice came from the other end. "Tell them all is well." Scar growled into the princesses ear. "Or I'll have killed a princess instead of a King."

"Well I will admit this wasn't the plan but I'm afraid I'll have Tod to thank for that." Scar quickly tied a thin wire around the girls wrists. "Tod." The bird took flight out of the window and into the quickly fading sunlight. "So Princess, I hope you won't mind me making a few adjustments. Stay silent." Scar edged them both over to the window, her back against the open air removing her blade from the girls back.

"Perfect." Just as Scar spoke Tod landed on her shoulder. Grabbing tightly at the girl's waste the door was opened. Before Scar looked to see who it was she leaned far back, falling out of the window, taking the Princess with her. Falling a few stories before being tossed up in a black solid shadow. Scar held tightly to the Princess, feeling the shadow move within her. It burst from within her back, moving out of her in a fire, spreading like wings. Tod flew beside them, following Scar's every wing moment. Looking down at the Princess her eyes were alight like a beam of white fire. She said nothing as the glided into the rising moon.

Scar looked ahead of them, her eyes like bright head lights. The flew past the village, over the woods, looking out to the beaches near the see. She took a sharp turn gliding up to the mountain side. Only feet from the rocky peaks she dives down flipping upside down briefly before landing on her feet in a dark cave in the mountain side. The sea crashing hundreds of feet below them. Letting go of the girl she backed up a few feet, her wings to big to fit all the way into the entrance. They fold beneath her fading slowly over a few minutes. After they had gone completely she opened her eyes to look at the Princess. "Was it good for you?" Scar smirked.

Scar blinked at her joy. Most would have be going crazy from what she just did. Quiet a few have tried throwing themselves from the cliff behind her."We are about three months ride by road. I don't think they'll even know where you went." She stated. Tod flew around the room landing on her shoulder nestling into her neck, he rubbed his beak against her cheek before diapering behind her hood. "You're an odd one." She said tilting her head at the woman.

"I think the better question would be who hasn't?" Scar walked over to a small opening into the wall. Looking in nothing had been moved. Her bed still lay in a heap on the floor, sheets and curtains hung from the ceiling for a makeshift drape above it. Covering the bed and some of the floor around it, beside the bed was a large flat black stone, smooth like glass, but it would hold no reflection to anyone who looked into it. Not anything human at least. To the right of the opening was another leading to a smaller room. Holding stacks of clothing, all different colours, and sizes, behind that was a string of black clothing hung. "Bellow us in the tunnel working there is a hot spring of water. If you wish to bathe before hunt, you may. There is enough clothing for an army in the room beside mine. You might find something you like. Tod will stay here and watch you. He can guide you through the tunnels. But if you think you can flee, go and try. There are a lot things more dangerous in this mountain than me, I think I might just be the safest." With that she turns and walks to the opening diving out, and gliding across the water before leaving sight.

Tod flies past Sara landing on a perch a sound rumbles from the ceiling as a hum moves across the room. Lighting up the small white orbs across the walls. He then flies and lands at the end of the room on an orb waiting for the girl to follow.
    -------------------------------------------------
Scar flew as fast as she could into the sea, feeling the need to push herself. She moved and giggled through the air with an unknown grace. Hunting could come later, for now she needed to soar.

Cawing Tod turned down the tunnels, pausing when a he would take a turn. He flew into a huge opening. Steam was pouring on the floor as they entered the room. There were no orbs here but lights were dancing across the room reflecting from the water below. The floor opened up into a large slope than a drop off into the water. Shelves were carved out into a wall beside them. Tod landed there and turned his back to the princess.
    --------------------------------------
Scar felt a pull from the center of her being. Being far enough away she let her mind go blank. Her vision fades to black.

Tod waited until she had be in the water for a few minutes before flying around the room a few times. He did not look down at her just flew mindlessly. A short while had passed as he felt Scar release. He cried out loudly four times as he would have if he had been by her side.

Tod looked down at the girl with disbelief, he landed on her shoulder and cleaned his wing. Glancing back at her he froze for a moment and cawed, flying off to lead her back. He was quicker down the tunnels hoping she wouldn't get lost. He rushed back into the room waiting for Scar. She was no were to be found though. He flew around the room again and again.

Tod circles the room looking from the Sara to the ocean. It wouldn't take him long to find her, depending on how far she went. He lands on on Sara again and sits for a longer amount of time. He would have to wait for Scar, she would be back soon.
    ---------------------------------------
Scar finds herself flying back to Tod she was holding a bag of something in her hands. What was she doing again? Why wasn't Tod with her? By the time she reaches him she finds she has a bag full of large fish. At least twenty pounds worth. The princess is there, her memory returns to her as she drops the bag "Hope I didn't keep you waiting to long." She says looking at Tod for any signs of distress.

"Dumb bird." Scar scoffed but she greeted him with a smile and held him tightly, calming him. Leaning down to clean the fish she pulls out the same blade she used to threaten Sara with. It moved with ease against the scales of the fish as she worked. "Well this is a set back." She sighs to herself. "I'd kill you if I think it would do any good. Besides I have more to work with here. Your father can offer a lot more for you alive than anyone for him dead."

Scar glances briefly at Sara before moving back to her work. After the fish are gutted, she moves into another room, different from the others. It had a black cover blocking the entry. The walls were covered in bright colours lines and painting of birds and lights of all shapes and sizes. Each of them looking to the center of the ceiling. One white bird and a beautiful woman stand, she was slim and curvy, with long curly blond hair down to her feet. Behind her was a white Dove that seemed to glow as the woman did. In the middle of the room was a large white fire, blazing away with no wood at the bottom. The heat radiated from the fire, making the whole room a little hotter than comfortable. On one of the walls was a row of tables and counters, lined with wine and bread. Water was pulled from a well below them in a tin bucket.
Scar pulls out a large metal hook from the table, hanging it on a steal grate below the fire she hangs the fish letting them cook. Walking over she pulls out a random bottle of wine and hands it to Sara. "It's this or water" She says, not looking at her. Tod does not enter the room but stays in the doorway.

"You like it do you?" Scar pulls off some fish from the fire and throws them on a plate. Sliding it over to Sara she takes a swig of her own bottle of wine, making a face. "This is all I can find of anything like me." She points to the walls. "They all have birds like I do, all of their birds match them in some way, like mine. I'm guessing this was a place of worship for people like me. The fire burns from nothing and it's as white as a pure snow." She looks up at the woman above the flame, the pure white bird beside her. "I'm guessing she was the leader of something. I don't know, I came here after. Tod won't ever come in here. Out of respect or fear. I'm not sure." She doesn't look back from the woman in white for a long time. "They are all dead."

Scar ignored her own fish and stood from the table. She brought her own plate to Tod, letting him pick at it. Sighing she went back into the room with the princess and took another drink of wine. Walking over to the fire she spit some of her wine at it. The fire did not roar as it should have. It burned all the same as if it could not be touched. "There is nothing to say Stories would tell you enough, I assume you wouldn't know them being as they are to scare the children in the villages. All the same they are gruesome enough."

"It's said that creatures used to rule the land. Long before man ever did. One of these creatures were brought together by flight and a common soul. It would take the form of a bird, the bird would look like something that would reflect your soul. The most pure soul would bet the brightest bird. No one knew what the beings could do, they never tested their power. Each one tried to become most powerful by doing great things to make themselves more pure. They ended up dying out from their own love in their beauty. They refused to mate with others to live. It's a stupid story really telling the children to be as good as they could so they would look the best. Another story is these were vain creatures who kept to themselves. Taking male mates as prisoners breading only the most beautiful until they were perfect. The men were treated as toys and slaves to their beauty. Another story about the dangers of women, and vanity. All of these hold no candle to what did happen though. I'm sure of it." Scar sighs and hugs herself. Walking out of the room she sits by Tod and holds him lightly in her hands.

"No it's fine. I just get to thinking to much sometimes. If you wish you may sleep in my bed tonight." Tod rubs his face over Scars cheek softly. "Tod takes first shift, I take last. I'll be sleeping now though." Scar curls up in a ball over looking the ocean view. She closes her eyes as Tod sits beside her only for a moment, before taking off into the night and flying back into the room every few minutes.

Tod had just flown in as Scar had entered the main room. She was toweling off her hair as Tod landed on her head. He flapped his wings letting out a small cry. Scar froze in her place letting Tod take off again. Pulling Sara she reaches the edge of the opening she throws her out falling into the open ocean. She plummets down letting her wings expand, she reaches Sara feeling her land on Scars back. "Hold on!" Scar screams taking off into the open sea she flies mere inches from the water, letting her hand touch the surface.
