Foxleap padded out of Talonstars den. He padded over to Snowpaw. "Are you going with Talonstar to find Shadowing" he asked.

"Well remember those fighting moves I taught you" he meowed. Licking her ear.

Lillypaw and Redpaw ran up to Snowpaw. "I wanna go too" Lillypaw meowed. "Your too young" Foxleap replied giving his kit a playful cuff around the ear. Lillypaw growled "I`ll show you". She leapt at her father and Redpaw joined here. "Help" he meowed to Snowpaw before he dissapeared under a mass of fur.

Lillypaw and Redpaw landed in the dust. Lillypaw stood and pounved on Snowpaw

"Well I already have an apprentice but while she is away I can work with you" he meowed. "I will talk to Talonstar about giving you a full mentor when he gets back" he meowed. "Lets go" he meowed and padded out of camp.

"We are training with Scar today" he told her and looked back checking Scar was following.

Speckelpaw padded up to Hawkleap."Are we going to train today" she asked him.

When they had reached the training area he turned to Snowpaw. "Lets show Scar that move I taught you yesterday" he meowed.

Speckelpaw bounced excitely. "Are we going on a hunting patrol with Emeraldgaze" she asked.

Lets pretend Scar snd Snowpaw practiced the move and then went back to camp for the clan meeting.

Foxleap padded over to watch the meeting. Lillypaw and Redpaw came and sat down next to him.

"Tigerpaw, Tigerpaw" Lillypaw started the chant soon followed by Redpaw and Foxleap.

Foxleap looked at Scar and in his eyes it seemed to say I told you so.

Oh and sorry Drowiningheart I already have a new mate.

Goldenpaw padded around camp looking for Lionclaw.

Foxleap turned to snowpaw. "You better get some sleep" he meowed. "You are going to have a long journey" he meowed flicking her ear with his tail and his eyes warm.

Speckelpaw looked at her mentor and saw amusement glittering in his eyes. She gave an excited bounce and padded after Hawkleap.

"I will go with you" Foxleap meowed to Mistystep.

Foxleap padded into the forest. A mouse was chewing a a nut beneath an oak tree. He crept up behind it silently. Once he was a fox length away he pounced. The mouse looked up in alarm and let out a squeal which was cut off as Foxleap killed it with a sharp blow to the neck. Foxleap added a a vole, a squirrel, and a blackbird to his collection of prey. He padded back.To camp and dropped his prey as dawn approached and the cats going to find Shadowing were waking up.

Foxleap padded over to Talonstar`s den. He nudged Talonstar. "Wake up" he meowed. "It is almost dawn".

"How can you take her side when she came to spy on our camp and tried to kill me" Hollypaw snarled. "The way she acts has nothing to do with your parents", "If you cant see that your blind" Hollypaw snarled then turned and ran into the woods ignoring the pain in her shoulder.
