Hollypaw shot over to the entrance to fight the lion. She felt confident in her ability to fight the lion. She wanted revenge on the lion for hurting the clan.
Darkwillow followed Hollypaw, mostly curious to see if she would die and go to StarClan. She padded over to Hollypaw. "You are six moons old and hardly know how to fight. You have no chance," she told Hollypaw. Discouraged, Hollypaw padded to the nursery.
Ripplelight stood by the nursery and watched Hollypaw pad over. "Is Darkwillow mad at me? She told me I had no chance at fighting," Hollypaw asked.
"Her mother and sister are dead," Ripplelight replied. "She's probably trying to protect you." -

"Hey Inksplash," Ripplestar purred. "We're going to reinforce the walls to prevent anything from breaking into camp."
"Darkwillow said I would die if I tried to join the fight against the lion," Hollypaw meowed at Inksplash. "Is she mad at me?" -

Wishy, during the battle with the mountain lion, can Darkwillow die and have Clovershade (her dead mother) come and take her to StarClan?

Swiftsky padded into the clearing. NightClan appeared to be the first clan to be at the gathering. The full moon glowed in the sky, illuminating the leader stone.

Russetclaw padded next to Shadowstar. "Is she losing a life?" she muttered.

"Darkwillow is a reasonable cat," Ripplelight soothed Hollypaw. "She wouldn't be mad at you for no reason."
Darkwillow wondered if she was too harsh on Hollypaw. She didn't want the she-cat to be upset. StarClan, if you are real, why have you done this? she thought. She began to wonder if Clovershade and Wrenkit were in StarClan watching. Would they come to her if she died in the fight?
