Dawngaze's ears suddenly twitch as she hears a loud yelp come out of the forest. She looks around camp to see who was not around, Cherrystride! Dawngaze started running as fast as she could towards the sourc of the yelp. "Cherrystride! Cherrystride! Where are you?" She yelled. Then she came to a stop, in front of her was Cherrystride with two small bleeding spots on her side. "Cher-rystride," Dawngaze whispered.
After minutes of just starring at her, she scooped her onto her back and carried her back to camp.
When they got back she layed her down on the floor of the medicine cat den. Dawngaze grabbed some herbs and started rubbing them into her wound.

Dawngaze still couldn't get up.

After rubbing in the herbs Dawngaze raced into the forest once again to help Moonbird and Mountaincloud fight the "dog."
Dawngaze hissed at the dog and slid under his stomach and clawed at his belly. It yelped in pain as she did this.

"Moonbird, get its back!" Dawngaze yelled.

Dawngaze tried to claw at its belly again but she was too slow and it swiped at her and dug his claws into her back. "Ooouch!" Dawngaze yelped. Her back had claw marks all over them and was bleeding so much, but that didn't stop her she leaped over it's head and scratch its muzzle.

Dawngaze collapses on the ground, the red ground now. Her back felt like it was on fire and she was light headed, she squeezed her eyes shut tightly.

"I don't think so," Dawngaze told Cherrystride.

"Yes, the marigold and cobwebs will help," Dawngaze had used this technique on many cats in a similar situation since she was med cat.

"Take me to the med cat den, there will be some marigold and cobwebs there," Dawngaze said weakly.

Dawngaze was loosing a lot of blood and was starting to feel really light headed.

Dawngaze flicked her tail as the bleeding stopped,"Thank you so much Mountaincloud."

"Yes, I feel better now. Thank you for asking," Dawngaze smiled and closed her eyes to go to sleep.

That night Dawngaze dreamed about the "dog" coming again and multiplying. It attacked all of the cats and we had to move in with *shiver* two-legs.

Dawngaze's eyes shot open and she was breathing heavily,"Stormtail?"

Dawngaze got up and felt her back with her paw, the bleeding had stopped and it was starting to heal,"I'm going to see Moonbird. Oh, and thank you for waking me up Stormtail," Dawngaze mewed.

Dawngaze looked around camp as she was walking to the warriors den,"Good morning Hawktalon, how are you this morning?" Dawngaze sat down in the warriors den where she found Hawktalon.

Dawngaze sighed and told Sapwhisker what had happened when she tried to get up. "eat these herbs, they will help but you may not be able to stand until tomorrow," Sapwhisker mewed. Dawngaze made a small squeaking sound and ate the herbs. "Blackwing, do you still love me?" Dawngaze asked impatiently.

"I feel a lot better! It doesn't hurt as much now, thanks for asking," Dawngaze mewed.

"I don't know, maybe I was thinking that I hurried into it too fast so maybe you weren't very sure," Dawngaze mewed. She felt as if she had legs again and sighed as the pain was starting to go away.

Occ~ I was gone too, such a coincidence! Now I'm back!
