"I've got two," Decembered replied. She also held a very large, glossy green leaf in her hand. It was one of the trees in the forest that stayed green all year round. "And this leaf to smash the meat inside the shell on. You can find one over there," she turned, pointing behind her.

"Great, now let's get started." December ventured back onto the trail and sat down on a large boulder-like rock. She then found a crevice on the edge of the rock and set and acorn inside of it. She began to pound the rock that she had on it to break its shell.

"I dunno, but why else would there be a trail? It has to lead to the city," December said, she too started wondering. She cracked the shell of the acorn and took the large nut from inside and put it on the leaf inside the crevice. She then started crushing, adding drops of water very slowly.

December nodded in response. She began to hit the nut harder, for it had begun to crack into smaller prices and she wanted to create a mash.

"Yeah, go ahead," December replied with a nod. She then set her water in between them. "You can use this to help get it mushy."

December added more water to the nut as it began to become mush. She also started to mix it in accompany to smashing the nut.

Once the nut was smooth and creamy, December put the leaf in which it was held I between herself and Ophrin. "Are you almost done? 'Cause I'm ready to eat!"

December nodded and awkwardly scooped a small amount onto her fingers. She licked a bit off of her fingers for a taste, it almost tasted like an almond. Although it was still a little bitter, she ate the rest of the portion in her hand and gestured for Ophirin to try it. "It's ok, but I'm starving so I'll eat just about anything right now." December grinned, gazing into his soulfull eyes for what seemed like forever to her, but was only a second. Then she looked back down at her hands, one of which still had some of the mash on it. She wiped her hand on the rock, being careful not to scrape it on the loose gravel. She glanced back up from her hand to Ophirin. She was always a little awkward, even around Ophirin.

"I say that we should just continue along this trail until sunset once we finish this," December suggested with a shrug. She scooped another portion of the acorn mash into her mouth. "I'd like to find a city as soon as possible. I hope that won't take long..." Her shoulders slumped forward at the thought. How long would that take. Would it take all week? Or longer? She sighed and decided to shrug it off. Before looking back up at Ophirin, she wiped her hand off on the thigh of her jeans. "What do you think?" she asked, referring to what they should do after their small meal.

December is very shy when you first meet her. She isn't a very socialable person. No one can warm up to her and actually see how she is. She is a very kind and sweet girl that tries to help as much as she can. She is fun loving, but can be quite serious when necessary.

"I uses we should just keep going," December decided. She gathered the ends of the leaf holding the mash together. She wrapped the bundled ends with an extra hair band on her wrist. She put it inside the small pocket off her backpack and walked back onto the trail. She leaned against a tree that was along the trail to wait for Ophirin.

December smiled at his compliment. She hoped that she had not blushed, that would be embarrassing. "I just always have a few extras," she replied as she ran her fingers over the three bands on her left wrist. There was a deep imprint endear neath the bands because she never took them off unless she needed one.

"It used to get a little sore, but now that I'm so used to them I sometimes forget that they're there," December replied. She bade a half circle around Ophirin so she ended up on his other side. Then he wouldn't have to constantly avoid having his gym bag bump her.

December shook her head,"No no, you were fine." She grinned when she saw him look at the bracelet that she had made for him. Hers and his were both still surprisingly green and the flowers had not get started to wilt.

She smiled, running a finger on one of the petals. It gave a sort of silky warm feeling off when she felt it. December looked straight down the path, it thinned into nothingness. That's where she felt they were going, nowhere. She did have hope that they would find a city soon. Atleast within two weeks from now.
