[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-size: 10px; line-height: 1.20;][hr]holy sh.t. it had been a long, busy week. even now curt was seeing unfamiliar faces. she felt a bit awkward about it, but she'd have to hold her own meet and greet or something along those lines just to meet them all. padding up to halt beside patchy, curt would listen in silence as nighttales read everything out.

"condolences to those promoted." she was sad to hear of fruit's departure as she'd enjoyed the little snake's company. athena she didn't know, and garlic she was sure would show up again sooner or later, as most did. none particularly saddened her, but demotions were always as she'd found an awkward topic. promotions, however, were another story.

there went damiano. she wasn't surprised as her little cousin had been everywhere lately. despite his attitude, the promotion was deserving, and she had to muffle a chuckle at night's little dig. the rest hadn't particularly surprise her either, and she agreed they were all deserving. there was one promotion, however, that didn't so much surprise her, but rather catch her off-guard. gideon was a captain now? but hadn't he.. no, he'd been a blackblood up until now. but it seemed weird. curt had already seen him as a captain, despite his rank. hell, the angora did more for the clan than she ever had. now she supposed she could put a title to the position. "congrats god, and congrats to those promoted!"

as they gained another captain, the other chose to resign, it seemed. well, not really. even if fright didn't carry the title anymore, technically nothing had changed. it felt a little strange now that chess was gone and fright had technically stepped down. she'd grown used to change, but still something felt off for her. ah, she needed a bit of normality back in her life. "noted, night."

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-size: 10px; line-height: 1.20;][hr]/ahh track<3

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-size: 10px; line-height: 1.20;][hr]well, she'd promised herself that she'd make one of these.. eventually. she'd not had the chance, but today she had managed to drag her hermit a.ss out of her home and into the streets. it wasn't that she was particularly tired or busy - just distracted, she supposed. either way, there wasn't much of an excuse to back her up, and she'd get around to being active again, but for now she had to at least make an effort. "meet and greet.. uh.. tell me an interesting fact about yourself if you feel like it." she wasn't particularly good at these things, but still the effort had been made. now she could sit back and wait for newbies to (hopefully) flock her way.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-size: 10px; line-height: 1.20;][hr]"i'd know that voice anywhere, but not.. this.. thing". though her voice portrayed something akin to disgust, curt's expression was knotted with confusion as she halted nearby, attention given wholly to her cousin. "that is yuri muzikant i'm talking to, right?"

/short post sorry but it looks so good dude?? holy cow<3

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-size: 10px; line-height: 1.20;][hr]These hadn't been held in a while, and while Curt had said ages ago that she was totally up for taking care of them, November had seemed like to busy a month to hold anything considering the Halloween festivities. Now that it was quieter, the Captain supposed she could slip December Ceremonies in before the holiday season got into swing. "Gather for this month's ceremonies!" Making use of her powers for once, Curt would heighten her voice in order to get the message out there. Surely there had to be some kits turning into apprentices, and likewise apprentices to warriors.

From her stance atop some poor npc's patio the Captain had a moment to stop and gather her thoughts while those interested gathered around. She wasn't particularly fantastic at public speaking - while it didn't make her nervous, she still struggled to put her thoughts into words. She disliked sounding so informal, but the formal, commanding tone didn't suit her very well either. Ah, it had to be done, however. "Blackbloods and higher are able to hold ceremonies. As a note, also, ceremonies will now be held bi-monthly unless something comes up."

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 10px; line-height: 1.20;][hr]It would not have been the first time Curtaincall had come across the little blackblood near to a corpse, the scent of fear and blood stronger then that of his own. It had been the sound from the scuffle that had alerted the femme that trouble had been stirred. Despite her usual nonchalant nature, the Captain felt her gut twist as she drew closer to the scene, still completely unaware of the outcome as her paws carried her through the terrain as quickly as they could.

She had yet to question what had happened as she arrived and her heartrate quickly registered as a panic attack. From her position the cream feline's gaze was only met with a mound of fur, one coat unfamiliar and one formerly white coat that now ran red with blood. "ah, Eu-" was it him? In her own panic-induced blindness she could hardly tell. "Euphemia?" Curt couldn't even tell if he was alive or not. She'd hurry forward, scraping the corpse of the stranger to the side and wrinkling her nose at the blood that seeped onto her own paws. Disgusting.

"Euphemia!" It was the little ghoul. He quite frankly looked a mess, and she struggled to figure out the original colour of the boy's clothes as she nudged the Blackblood with a gentle paw. Breathing? Yes Okay? She wasn't entirely sure.

Boy, she sure was great in situations like these. In all honesty the girl had no idea what to do or say, whether she should move him, go get a medic, or wait for someone else to arrive; just in case the poor kid died of a heart attack while she was padding around the Medic den. She'd choose to stick with the latter, though having no medical training refused to touch anything other than his shoulder in an attempt at comforting Euphie. Whether it would work she had no idea.

"Ah." Up until now she'd paid almost no mind to the body laying beside them, blade still twisted somewhere beneath it's fur. Yuck. She kicked it further away, making a half-hearted attempt to wipe the already drying blood from her paws. "It's okay, Euph. Are you hurt anywhere?" Boy, Curt was certain that if she'd inherited anything from her mother it was her empathy skills. She really needed to work on that. "Just.. breath.."

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-size: 10px; line-height: 1.20;][hr]"This'll be fun." She was merely here to sit back and enjoy the show - it'd been a while since she'd watched anyone spar. Drooping lazily across the ground a few meters away the Captain would settle in for the show. "Fight fair, ladies."

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-size: 10px; line-height: 1.20;][hr]i love dami holy sh it

bur honestly, i do love having this guy around. it's good to see a character like him who has someone he idolises (his dadda) but is still his own character. damiano's hella fun to interact with tho i still need to reply to that thread lol and you do such a good job of sticking to his character while also not making him one dimensional. he has his flaws and downfalls icly but they are always evened out in the end. his relationship with yuri gives you a lot of room to move plot-wise, and i'm excited to see where his interaction with the rest of the clan go in the future.<3

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 10px; line-height: 1.20;][hr]"Ah, Cottoncandykit, you're about the right age to be an apprentice, yeah?" It was hard to keep tabs on the kits and apprentices, and often the Captain would forget a kit or two, but she knew well enough that Grey's son was about six months of age. Despite the boy's scrawny appearance she wouldn't deny him of his apprenticeship. He seemed, by the looks of it, plenty excited - and who was she to say no when she'd been the exact same as a kit.

"From now on you will be known as Cottoncandykit, and will be training under Frightfur. The bionic serval had yet to show up, but Curt had a feeling that there wouldn't be any complaints. Serious ones, anyway. "Congratulations." She'd return the newly-made apprentice's shy smile with a grin, before returning her gaze back to the crowd, still scanning for any to-be apprentices or warriors.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 10px; line-height: 1.20;][hr]As the younger's eyes scanned her approach, curt shuffled uncomfortably. Being.. studied was something she was put-off by, and not much made her uncomfortable. Taking a seat as Damiano removed his gloves and spoke once more she moved to speak again, a rather blunt; "then why are you out here," forming on her lips until her cousin answered her unspoken question. Well, she hadn't known Yuri to be interested in gardening either, but her older cousin was full of mysteries. It was - but also wasn't - surprising news.

It was nor surprising that Damiano had taken her jab literally. She fought the urge to roll her eyes and instead attempted to feign an understanding nod. "I see! How lovely of you to do that for your father."

"By the way, I have a few questions for you." Oh. Curt would roll her shoulders. For a second her mind had jumped to the terrifying birds and bees question, but that was something she was sure Dami would hold for his daddy. "Shoot, I guess."
