"Good, then lets begin." Said Riolu. He began to concentrate, willing for Grace to arrive. In a pop and a flash, a small ralts stood in front of the startled Pokemon. "You know the plan, so are you ready?" Riolu asked, and Grace the ralts nodded, and in another flash was gone.

A moment later, she reappeared, and Riolu got into Chansey's egg pouch. She had grown another egg, and gave it to the other Pokemon in case of rationing. Chansey nodded once Riolu became secure, and in another flash, teleported to the Pokemon Center. She reappeared another moment later, and took the group into a dark alley, where a small tunnel was hidden under a box, cardboard and large steel cylinders the group had to hustle through. The hidden tunnels ware much larger then expected, and in the labyrinth's center held a Raticate, Fearow and Gengar. They agreed to let the small gang stay with the abundance of the rattatas, sentrets, and ghastleys.

The dangerous play was now in motion.

They are. They are backup in case team two ( Kat and Ember) need assistance in tailing in case there is more then one suspect. Also, they need to travel all around the city. The reason I had not specifically listed them was actually because I forgot their names. Whoops, Ubleck and Xeno. My bad.

"Oh, yes, you have a job, team 3." Crowed the Fearow, who was keen of hearing. "but if you'd rather be out in the open, alone and defenseless, be my guest." He snapped. "Grace told me your also part of infiltration, basically, extra eyes. Now, for complaining, your going to help feed the newborns." (Actually, it was no real punishment. It was his turn and he felt too lazy to do it.)

    (Phew. Good.

As for Hawkpaw, Turtleshell could be the mentor who doesn't pay enough attention. I don't have a free warrior at the moment to care for Echpaw. Perhaps someone else?...Or I could just make up another cat. Beachtree sounds fair enough. You can just make up little details for him.)

Oakclaw padded up to Rainstar and saw Maskedrose with her. He was going to wait until she finished, then request that Foxkit be HIS apprentice. Unfortunately, his fur bristled and his eyes narrowed when he heard the subject of their conversation.

Foxkit, noticing the three cats, twitched his whiskers when he deduced the situation. He padded over, a moderate distance away, and began listening, while digging in to a nice plump squirrel.

( I prefer other people mentoring the kits. He could get Wolfkit if she's available or something. Lynxkit will be mentored by Shamrockclaw, and Aurorapelt can train Maplekit. Preferably Maskedrose will teach Foxkit, but I want a little competition first.)

Two days of living like this, Riolu finally felt something strange. He sensed two people, both whom seemed to broadcast no aura, yet seemed to take up space. Riolu checked to see if his mind was playing tricks, but it wasn't. Two men, stood side by side, wearing little ear communicators and wore something toblock off auras. They must be it. He thought excitedly, and signaled Grace to alert team 2 and 3.

    Team 1- Chansey, Riolu, Ralts
    Team 2- Kat and Ember
    Team 3- Xeno and Uleck

Oakclaw bristled his fur, feeling his claws digging into the soil.

"I'm sorry to say this, but I wanted to mentor Foxkit. I feel that he'll make me proud. Besides, he need a strong fatherly figure to help raise him, and I feel that I can do that best." He growled. "I will do the best job of raising him."

Foxkit sat silently, watching an interested crowd gather around the three cats.

Awkward for Rain star. On one hand, Maskedrose was very clever, and yet Oakclaw was very strong. His muscles rippled as if trying to show that he'd raise the kit best. A suggestion for a competition between the two cats flowed through the crowd, and soon the clan was chanting for a spar.

At this point Masked rose and Oakclaw were quarraling, so anybody would be glad for the change of pace before getting back to the difficult topic.

The people didn't seem to notice being tailed, and led them right to their building, Silph co.(Alright, Kanto!), after they healed their pokemon team, which was made up of Koffing, Mighteyana, and Golbat for the taller one, and the shorter one had a Yanmega, Kadabra and Machoke. This will be interesting...

"I want a mentor who can take me far. I don't need a softie to train me, and I want to rise to make my mother proud. I want Maskedrose." He meowed solemnly. Oakclaw grolwed indignantly and stormed off when he heard Foxkit's sly insult. Normally Foxkit was so close to him, being almost a replacement father to him and his siblings. He choose a strong trainer instead of a familiar one, which was odd for a kit.

Meanwhile, Lynxkit was slightly disappointed that there was no fight between the two cats, but glad there was a simple solution to the mix. He felt bad about Oakclaw, but was exited at the same time. Not only did he make new friends, but the deputy himself was to mentor him. The though made him purr with anticipation for the future.

(Cool, but what exactly are you doing there when Rainstar is about to name your apprentice? Your patrol is running late, huh?)

Maplekit flushed nervously, but excitement still brimmed her eyes as she sat down next to her new mentor, awaiting her brother's naming ceremonies.

Lynxkit was struggling to keep still, excitement shining in his amber eyes, while his brother, Foxkit, sat calmly down. His gaze created on the apprentices, hoping nobody would take that nest he made.( His priorities certainly are in order right? :-\)

Meanwhile, Lynxkit was scanning the crowd, and let out VERY loud purr of relief when he saw Shamrockclaw. He was still sad that Mapleleaf wasn't there watching from the camp, but that cloud was tiny compared to his joy of being an apprentice, then, one day, a warrior.

( ooc: well, you just skipped Foxpaw's ceremony...so, should we skip it or what? A good RPer knows when to add an extra dramatic plot twist, by waiting patiently. I of course, have done that once or twice.
And personally I am more of an RP hog because in school and at home, I usually lead the RPs. Oh well.)

Lynxpaw, who couldn't sleep out of pure excitement, felt a strong scent of fear coming from his new mentor. Scared, he Nuzzled awake Foxpaw and Maplepaw, who followed the scent-trail. Maplekit, who was the best tracker of the group, followed it until the sharp pang of blood loomed in her nostrils. Now really scared, she began to bristle, and as she did, the strong wave of blood hit her brothers noses.
"Wait." Mewed Foxpaw. "We mustn't be rash. Whatever took down the deputy must be easily able to take down us. Maplepaw, run back to camp and alert Rainstar, and bring backup. Lynxpaw and I will continue searching, but more carefully now. Be viligant too." He turned back to the scent trail, and, confident she would do it right, climbed a tree, and both toms traveled silently through the branches, hoping to find the missing cats.
As Maplepaw raced back, she caught whiff of tiny Melany, a bit too far from camp to be safe.(By the way, one week old, a cat hasn't even been fully weened. They can't even fully see.)

Foxpaw and Lynxpaw stared in horror at the sight of this, and Lynxpaw would have leaped down had it not been for his brother holding him back. They had gotten lost from the original trail, and heard the sound of the cats.
"You fool!" He hissed. "There are too many. What I cannot believe is that Branchstar would agree to this. To think I respected his wisdom." He sat silently, then created a plan. It was dangerous, but he had every move planned out in his mind. Then, silent as a mouse and as sly as a fox, he snuck closer to the nursery, and signaled Lynxpaw, just over the sheltered nursery. He stole death berries from the medicine den, luckily there was a crack that his lithe claws could fit through. Some kittens were settling in to a large squirrel. Foxpaw, using his long tail, distracted the kits long enough to switch the squirrel for death berries. Lynxpaw shook the branches, which fell, blocking off the nursery, except for the useful crack.
The kits began writhing from the poison, and Lynxpaw felt sick to his stomach, pitying the kits. In the thick leaves, Lynxpaw was not seen, and Foxpaw had arranged it so he could easily escape. He watched his brother remove the death berries, and run. Lynxpaw did the same thing, and the two escaped undetected.

"A sign!" Meowed the Medicine Cat. She panicked, the kits that had just been recovered were dead mysteriously. Although she couldn't shake the feeling of murder, there was no evidence. Although she told the others that they should not attack WingedClan, she wondered, why would it be Starclan's will to kill kits. Then she saw a tiny tuft of grey fur. Secretly picking it up, she decided to show the two leaders this and decide what to do. The actual evidence? None of the kits were this dark grey.

Foxpaw spotted Sandymoon heading twords Wingedclan camp. He silently signaled Lynxpaw to leap square on her back, but not hurt her. Claws sheathed, he bounded silently on her, then the massive grey tom sat on her, square in the shoulders.
"Hello, my NightClan friend. May I be so bold as to ask whi you are, what is your buisness, and with whom this buisness is with?" Foxpaw growled. "Struggling is pointless. Even as a newly made apprentice Lynxpaw is the size of you. Now, I see you are following a scent-trail to camp. Shall we escort you?" The young ginger tom asked.
Sandy moon couldn't help but notice red crushed berry juice between his claws.

( ooc: Actually, I had designed Branch star to be on his last life, and the wise old tom killed and replaced by ambitious Shaggyfur. I guess he could have 3 lives left or something. This is much better like this anyhow.)

Foxpaw thought it was ridiculous that Aurorapelt would even consider this cat would run away, but all the same, his long bounds kept pace with the speeding cat.
"You need to see my mentor, Masked rose?" He meowed, the others were behind them, but not out of earshot. "Judging by your frantic expression, it is life or death, and going you say you are against clan orders too. Tell me, what sort of power do they have that could destroy us all?" He meowed, not unkindly, but inquisitly. "And I take it that because you are desperate, you might have been seen running. And if the Clan knows you are friends with my mentor, it can be counted as treason. Am I right?" He meowed. Sandy moon was taken aback on how easily he guessed the entire situation. When he said this, all of the cats quickened their paces, realizing what if Foxpaw said was true, it truly was life or death.

"I was apprenticed only yesterday. I understand if you only want to talk to her, but I only wish to live as well." He meowed, still running. At last they made it to the camp. "I cannot help but notice a small singe on your ear from a small ember. This power of thiers, does it include fire?" He meowed.
But before she could answer, he walked into the warriors den and Nuzzled awake Masked rose. In a voice so low that no cat else could hear he whispered "Sandy moon is hear to see you. I trust she will fill you with all the details she wants to warnyou about." He meowed. Masked rose noticed deathberrie juice in between his toes, but said nothing.

Ooc: Sorry. Foxpaw just thinks differently than most others, and his thoughts are often belittling. I just had to stay in character.
