You are out walking in a forest just outside your town. Suddenly a deep fog comes across the forest. You try to feel your way through the fog when suddenly you get the sensation that you are falling. The sensation soon stops, and you realize that you are no longer in the forest. You are standing at the top of a mountain. A short distance in front of you stands a girl. Her long black hair is waving in the mountain breeze. She does not seem to notice you are there. As you walk closer, she seems to be singing something quietly.

    What comes next?

Takyur leapt across the chasm, spreading her wings as she did so. Her disguise fell off as she flew away from the angels she once called family and the demons she once called friends, revealing her to be some sort of cross of the two Kinds. With the wings and horns of a demon but the appearance of an angel, she looked nothing like the fluctuating image she used around the Kinds. She floated deeper into the chasm, leaving behind everything she had ever known.

    What happens next?

Skye turned around and gazed at Ian with wide, bright blue eyes. "I'm Skye," she said in a voice that sounded like music. "Who're you? What do you want?"

Skye turned back to the mountaintop view. "This place is Everauvia," she said quietly. "I've lived here my whole life. People come here and never figure out how to leave. I don't know why."

"I guess," she stated flatly. "It's rather boring after a while though." She turned back to look at Ian. "See, Everauvia is the place where people seem to wind up just when their lives are perfect. They find their way here in a dream, and then they can't leave. The Everauvians say that this is a different world than Earth. I don't believe it, though."
