The silver being's smile didn't stretch at the (dubious but who needs open eyes to see) sight of such a creatu-- person per se, but he did align his head to gaze properly down at the rabbit with a peculiar sort of cheerful intensity. Now, now, rabbits were normally white, weren't they? Or little fawn-speckled pets with brown on that white. They were the cute ones. Black rabbits - they didn't seem to fit the bill of small and pliable at all. Oh, well. A rabbit was a rabbit. Manipulable was manipulable. There, the small thing was almost trembling, in the oxymoronic warmly, and overwhelmingly clinical, hawk-stare Gin affixed on him. No. To make it even better, he was shaking a little. Poor thing. He was scared wasn't he?

'So you are,' Gin offered. 'PhantomClan, you said? Ah, not bad. I'll take it.' Phantom. False, or ghostly - now that a scream. Crow's feet at the edges of his curved eyes creased deeper with his amusement and he nodded gamely. 'I'm Gin Ichimaru. Pleased to meet you. 'I can beat 'em all up for ya, if you want.' His eyes squeezed further, mirroring his smile.

kuro was always such a mess.... xeryus never knew what was up with him. he was always worried about his time, and what was going on. he was caught in a loop. the canine couldn't change what the rabbit was doing with himself. heck, he couldn't even change kuro trying to discipline him the other day. what was he, a kitten? to be honest, kuro couldn't hurt a fly, even if he tried. he threaten to give him a time out for crying out loud, and all he did was say a curse word. xeryus found it funny, if anything. he wasn't intimidated by the rabbit at all (he was much smaller than him, anyway).

He never was one to turn down company, and especially not if it was to his own party - he turned, huge mocking grin widening at the image of the sweet drowsy puppy come to join. 'Is that so?' he asked in the parody of an earnest gasp, head wagging with disapproval. The eyes unseen under scantly open eyelids slid back over to the obsidian rabbit as Gin addressed him. 'Why, that won't do. What'd happen if a scary big monster came by the border and just swooped 'cha up while no one else was around, little rabbit? That won't do at all. They can smell weakness, you know.' The three-tailed kitsune straightened up in accordance to properly acknowledge the others, voice remaining blithe albeit as chiding as it was, and his smirk twisted down at the scarfed rabbit - Kuro, the dog had said - flashing and sinister. 'Real well. Predators; they can smell fear.'

Then Gin faced the two that had come, inclining his muzzle politely and beam wide and beatific. 'But it's good to know,' he laughed, three bushy tails winding together in a curving soft mosaic. He tipped his head in Xeryus's direction. 'Nervous, hmm. Living t'gether, you'd be good friends, no? I'm sure that being surrounded by such good influences he'll be fit as a fiddle in no time!' To the rabbit himself, Gin added innocently, 'Hang in there, Kuro-chan.' He ran his gaze over the canine with interest, however, noting that Xeryus's air was a tad off in comparison to the others - that much was plain to see. 'It's a pleasure. So you're going to be the one patchin' me up whenever I get into any scrapes? Take care of me well, doc - I won't mind too much if y' sleep on the job.'

The lab sure looked like he needed it; though Gin would bet at least two of his tails that it wouldn't be the first time anyone commented on the fact. After all, it wasn't subtle. Maybe it was just stress?

And there was a parrot. Gin's head jerked back when the bird flitted over them all, the kitsune raising his muzzle to see the thing clearly with plain curiosity; he continued following it with his eyes even as it dropped back onto a tomcat's shoulder, ruffling its feathers and everything like it was regular, not to mention the fact that the said tomcat reeked of gore.

Gin grinned over at the silent kitten (really, maybe they weren't young enough to be considered kittens or puppies or even still children anymore, but they were all so small), the expression stretching wide and shark-like. 'And you,' he finished, 'Ragnorak. Oh, dear, it seems that your friend dipped his paws in something he shouldn't have. It's a bit messy.' The towering kitsune cracked his eyes open enough to reveal his irises for the first time, glacier blue and intent. 'Gotta be careful, you know,' he hummed, light and sweet. His barracuda smile didn't abate in the slightest. 'Kittens shouldn't be playin' with fire.'
