The woman briskly apologized and asked them to take a seat until the detective could come and talk to them.

A few minutes later, the detective came out. "We are in the middle of questioning Mr.Jones. We want both of you to stand behind a-one-way window to confirm and deny what he says. Ludwig nodded and took Lina's hand.

Another detective was already questioning Alfred, "Mr. Jones, please tell me, in your own words what happened in the cafe'?"

Ludwig clenched his teeth. He glared at Alfred. His eyes full of hatred. He glanced at Lina but quickly looked away. He didn't want to influence the information she gave to the police.

"Why were you so angry when you saw Mr. Beilschmidt with Lina? You were her best friend, so you wanted her to be happy? Right?" the detective walked around Alfred, not taking her eyes off of him.

"So you attacked him? You punched the crap out him? Several witnesses say that he was bleeding heavily." She said with a fierce voice. But she looked calm.

"Have you ever had any other conflictions with either Mrs.Novak or Mr.Belichsimdt? Personal, not political." she gazed calmly at Alfred.

"Ok. No further questions. You will be taken into another room so that you may talk to Ms. Novak. You both will be watched." She turned and walked out the door without another word.
Ludwig was shocked at her choice.

Ludwig held her closer and looked at the Detective, waiting for him to answer . He shook his head, "I'm sorry Ms.Novak, but we need more information if there is going to a prosecution. But if it helps, Mr.Belischmidt can stay with you."

Ludwig hesitantly nodded. He picke u her hand and gently kissed it. "I'll be on the other side of the door, waiting..." he kissed her forehead. When he pulled back he had a light blush across his face.

Alfred's eyes glimmered with hate and sadness. He tried to stand, but his hands were chained down to the table. He sighed and sat back down, "Hey..." he said quietly.

"Don't lie...I know you only see e as a monster now... a no good low life.." he growled and looked down at the table.

"Yeah, right... if I were your best friend, you would have chosen me over Ludwig..." He growled at her.

Avalon stood back. Shocked at what had just happened. "Are you ok?" she asked Heaven.

"You can't have both. Make a decision. Now.If you chose me, then we can be friends again...more than that. But if you chose Ludwig, then I will hate you. And we become enemies..." He looked at her. His blue eyes were cold.

"BECAUSE NOTHING WILL BE THE SAME!" He stood a shouted at her.

"Well?! I'm waiting..." Alfred sat back, regaining his calm.

Ludwig rushed up and hugged her. He gave Alfred a glare before the door closed. He kissed Lina. When he pulled back he said, "I heard what happened, Lina... I Love you so much..." He smiled and kissed her again.

He blushed and took her hand, "Lets get out of here before they ask any more questions" He chuckled slightly.

Ludwig took her hand and walked out of the door. He held her close to him protectively. "Do you want me to drive? You look tired."
