Duskpaw nearly glared at Nightpaw and Stormtail. If they go and get Bramblepaw in trouble I will claw both their eyes out... She thought furiously. She quickly got up and ran out of Medicine Den to the Apprentice Den, and promptly began shredding the moss into atoms inside.

Brushpaw rushed after Nightpaw, just after a long moment of thought. He saw Duskpaw race out of the Medicine Den, and immediately his stare was hostile. "Who did something to her, and what did you do?!" He hissed at Bramblepaw, Nightpaw, and Stormtail.

    Silversplash continued sleeping.

    Lilypaw continued sleeping.

OOC- sorry if I've confused you. Fire can die, but I set it up where she is dying, but hasn't yet. Same with Azure.

IC- Moon finally got himself to sleep, but he had nightmare after nightmare, all about the battle.

Log finally fell asleep to the thought of River, and he promptly had nightmares about River being killed in future battles.

Cloud slept dreamlessly, the Poppyseeds allowing her to rest peacefully.

Stream calmly & patiently waited for Azure's reply.

OOC- stream asked azure how she felt and if anything was wrong.

Cloudfeather nervously gulped, then looked up at Tarrowscar. "Tarrowscar, I see you already have a healer. Kanimachia, namely. I was wondering if you were willing to take me in as a pack member, and my ideal rank would be Second Healer. If needed, I will take any test on herbs, usages, or anything else that would allow me to become a Second Healer." She barked, sounding slightly professional. For a loner... She thought to herself. She looked up at Tarrowscar, waiting for a reply. Anxiety pulled her apart as she tried to wait calmly and patiently.

Brushpaw scowled, his jealousy worsened. "Either of you hurt her, & I will claw both your eyes out!" He hissed. He stormed out of the Medicine Den, back into the Apprentice Den. He saw Duskpaw crying inside. "What'd they do to you?" He meowed, it sounding sharper than he intended.

Duskpaw looked up. "They're gonna separate me & Bramblepaw." She said, her voice breaking twice. More tears streamed from her eyes. Brushpaw nuzzled her, trying to comfort her sorrows. She was still horrified of being separated from Bramblepaw.

    Lilypaw continued sleeping.

    Silversplash continued sleeping.

(Brushpaw is a strange, unexplainable color. He is orangish-brown, you may say, and blends perfectly with the leaves during the fall. He has golden eyes and has weird, long claws for an apprentice.)

Cloudfeather quickly followed Tarrowscar after a long period of thought (idleness, actually). She snarled, curling up her lip and allowing her strangely extra-long fangs to be visible. She let a growl rise in her throat and overpower the snarl. Her eyes narrowed, and she quickly went over all herbs she knew, along with their usages. She quickly returned to reality and prepared to defend her new leader.

OOC- lol. WHAT A RELIEF!!! And yes, someone has a little crush on River. Don't worry, he'll get over it, it's just a crush. And, you know, possible future mate. Nothing too important. Also, I'm lockin the poll in 2-3 days. BE SURE TO VOTE!!!

IC- Moon woke with a start. He was covered in sweat. He shook himself, acting like a canine sprinkler. He came out of his den to get something to eat. He saw that the fresh kill pile was dangerously low. He howled to gather up the wolves in the pack to the Gathering Rock. He quickly thought of some possible hunting patrols as he jumped up to the top of the rock, his muscles rippling.

Stream quickly grabbed as many possible cobwebs and laid them next to Azure. Then, she immediately grabbed 6 Akashia leaves and began quickly chewing them into a pulp. She squeezed the juice out onto the wound to protect infection, then disposed of the remaining pulp. Then, she applied the cobwebs onto the bleeding areas. Lastly, she pushed 3 Poppyseeds in front of Azure. She knew that Azure would know what to do. "Anything else? New moss? Water? Freshkill?" She asked. Suddenly, she heard Moon's howl.

Log heard Moon's howl, which cut through his nightmares. He woke, and heard the excess parts of the howl. He quickly jumped up and raced to the Gathering Rock. Anything to allow him to stop dwelling on his nightmares. He looked up at Moon, who looked down from above while waiting for everyone else to come.

Cloud continued to sleep, the howl barely disrupting her slumber.

Cloudfeather would trust these wolves only as much as Tarrowscar did, and she already disliked the female of the 2. She hadn't heard her say anything, but Tarrowscar had said something to her, and Cloudfeather knew it wasn't just friendly conversation. But she did trust the male. He seemed normal... Enough. Both of them were dire wolves; or more simply, enormous. Like Tarrowscar.

IC- "Our freshkill pile has been getting lower & lower. We must send out hunting patrols!" Moon announced to the wolves that gathered around the rock. "1st, Log & River, you will go to the North and hunt for rabbits, squirrels, and other small game." He added.

Log suddenly had a smug look on his face. His work was cut out for him. And spelled out to him. It was obvious he had to bond with River while hunting. This could be his only chance.

Moon's gaze darted to Log's smug expression, and the look on moon's face showed obvious disapproval. "Next, Shale, Lunar, & I will go South and hunt for bucks, does, fawns, and other big game. Meanwhile, Jay, Drake, Stream, Azure, Cloud, Fire, Amber, Log & River will be guarding the camp. While Log & River are out, Shale, Lunar, & I will fill in for them." Moon barked. "After all of that, if we still need more freshkill, Amber, Drake, & Jay will go out East, hunting for big, big game, like elk." He added. "That will be all. Log, River, go ahead and begin." He called as he leapt off the Gathering Rock, muscles rippling like waves. He then walked into his nearby den.

Log left the crowd, then walked over to River. He was extremely nervous. "You ready?" He asked, trying to stay calm... And succeeding, in his own little way.

Stream stayed in the Medicine Den, watching over Azure, Cloud, and Fire. She had done what she needed to do to help Azure... And know she was on her way to check on Fire. She looked fine, though her wound looked slightly infected. Stream got a closer look, and confirmed her fears; Fire's neck wound was infected. Luckily, she was asleep, so Stream could easily apply Marigold onto the wound, and then cover it in cobwebs. She did just that.

OOC- accepted. Poll on thread will be locked in 2-3 days! Be sure to vote before its too late! And, please, advertise Thunder Pack in ANY WAY POSSIBLE. Link, picture, anything.

Brushpaw looked down in horror. "STORMTAIL!!!!!!" He screeched. He collapsed as he screamed, and tried to wake Nightpaw, pushing her with his muzzle meekly. "Wake up... It's me, Brushpaw..." He whispered, desperately trying to wake her.

Duskpaw sat inside the Apprentice Den with Mistypaw. "Just how angry are you at Stormtail?" She asked. Quickly, she asked another question, not waiting to hear her reply. "You think you'd compete with my fury?" She asked, her simple question slowly transforming into a hiss. This time, she impatiently & sourly waited for a reply.

    Lilypaw continued sleeping.

    Silversplash continued sleeping.

Cloudfeather followed Tarrowscar, ready to prepare herself for battle; or watching the battle while healing, to be a bit more exact. Should I get some lessons or tests from Kanimachia or something? She thought as she followed him into the clearing. The strange feel of the ground confused her. It was similar to gravel, which Cloudfeather had often found near human areas, but it was much smaller and a drastically different color. It was a very light yellow, and it slightly irritated Cloudfeather's paws. It would get stuck in between the nooks & crannies of her paw pads, and they were so small it was nearly impossible to get out, unless she shook her paw violently.

Moon slowly walked back to his den, exhausted yet restless. His sudden exhaustion was surprising, but his restlessness was completely expected. Any point in time where he would be with Shale in the immediate future would have this effect on him, no matter how small it was. Even if every other wolf in North America (or somewhere else if you want) was there with them, he wouldn't be able to sleep or rest at all until he was with her.

"Um... Then come on." Log said stiffly, nearly freezing up. Keep your cool, Log, keep your cool... Don't ruin this for yourself... This could be your only chance... He thought, leading River to the camp entrance. As he walked out, he looked to the sun, which was at the moment high in the sky. He began walking North. "You fast enough to get rabbits?" He asked, trying to converse with River before they had to go back to the camp. As he spoke, he looked her straight in the eyes, hoping that might give him a clue how she felt from his question. Hopefully, it didn't show his eagerness to bond with her too well.

Cloud continued sleeping soundly & dreamlessly.

Stream walked over to her nest and curled up on it, letting her head rest on her paws, and her tail twist up to her flank. She thought about the chances that Fire would survive, which, as Fire had said, were about 1/10. It's not that bad... Stream thought as she yawned, and closed her eyes.

Fire continued sleeping. She hadn't eaten any Poppyseeds, so the wound in her neck still ached, disabling her ability to sleep soundly. Nightmares about the battle... Her wound... That she could have been killed so easily if the rain hadn't come... She tossed and turned for the rest of her sleeping session.

Log smiled back, and tried to think of something else to say. "Err... What's your secret to catching rabbits?" He asked nervously. Stupid, stupid, stupid! Of course, she'd never tell you her secrets! Ugh! He thought, horrified at his dreadful mistake. He held back a string of curses in his mind, afraid he'd think aloud.

Stream jumped up from her short sleep and hurried to Azure. "Do you need anything? What happened? Where does it hurt?" Stream asked anxiously, silently hoping Fire was well enough to help her.

Moon sat in his den, staring at the insides of his hollowed-out Sycamore Tree. He occasionally glanced out the entrance of the den, which was mostly blocked by hanging moss. His mind kept wandering to Shale, and the hunting trip they would soon share with Lunar.

Cloud slept dreamlessly, her wound slightly stinging occasionally. The Poppyseeds she had eaten earlier had numbed the pain of her wound, but their effect was fading by the minute. Every time her wound stung, the sting's frequency worsened, and the pain occasionally followed, becoming less and less bearable.

IC- Stream tried to seem unfazed as she replied. "No! You will make it. You must make it!" The lack of horror in her face was made up for by her voice & eyes. She quickly grabbed some Honey and held it in a large leaf, which she carefully laid in front of Azure. She'll know what do... stream thought as she continued working hard to keep Azure alive, at least low enough for her to make her goodbyes. She began to chew up some Marigold and Akashia at the same time, trying to save time. As soon as both the leaves were pulps, she squeezed all the juice out of them she could, onto every gash she could find. Next, she got a large clump of honey into the biggest storage leaf she could, and poured a small bit of honey onto the percentage of her wounds that were badly infected. Lastly, she got all the cobwebs they had stored up, and applied all webs necessary to Azure's wounds. "How do you feel?" Stream asked, finally, ready to resume her quest to make Azure comfortable, along with the side quest to get some rest.

Log smiled, and suddenly stiffened up. He sniffed the air, looking for the scent he had caught just a short moment before. "There it is..." He mumbled. "You smell squirrel?" He asked, adding a playful hint to his simple question. He slowly inhaled, trying to locate the scent trail, but the wind changed, and instead he caught River's aroma. Just one sniff wouldn't hurt him, but the amount he had inhaled was enough to make him woozy. He tried to focus, and managed to stay standing & upright, but barely.

Moon decided that if he to go hunting with Shale, he needed to look handsome & healthy. Therefore, he lifted himself from his last, laying position, and walked out from his den. He padded over to the fresh kill pile and took a small squirrel from the top. He lay down next to the small creek that ran through the camp and began to eat.

Cloud continued sleeping, but she began to toss and turn, he pain becoming nearly unbearable.

Fire tossed and turned, almost just like Cloud, but much more intensely.

OOC- I will soon try to upload a few photographs to show the camp. Please, someone teach me how. I'm hopeless at extra stuff on threads... :P

At the sight of the rest of the pack's hostility, Cloudfeather's relaxed posture changed drastically. She suddenly seemed twice her size, and her lip curled up, revealing her fangs. A growl began to rise in her throat, until a snarl laid on her tongue, patiently waiting until it made it's appearance. Cloudfeather's tail arched, her eyes narrowed, and all wolf signs of hostility were obvious on her body.

Log copied River's posture, and stalked in a different way, a way he'd learned from years and years of being a loner. There were no 2-wolf traps, no help, no nothing. He had learned to hunt silently, and completely silently. Not a sound was heard. But River was the expert, in this case, and Log gladly followed her lead.

Moon finished eating, then took a long drink from the creek. Afterwards, he jumped in, trying to cool himself down and wash his fur of debris & anything from the squirrel. The cold water cooled him but a bit too much. He quickly washed himself in the water, then leapt out. He was wet, cold, and his fur clung to his body, making him seem much smaller. He shook himself, water flinging everywhere. He then began to clean himself, with 2 functions to his cleansing. First, he was cleaning his fur, and, second, it helped him dry himself.

Stream continued to wait for an answer.

Cloud finally woke, and cried out. "Fire! Stream!" She yelped.

Stream quickly picked up 3 Poppyseeds in her mouth, ran over to Cloud, and dropped them in front of her. he then raced back to Azure, waiting for a reply once again.

Cloud ate the Poppyseeds, and the pain quickly numbed, and her eyelids drooped.

Fire continued to toss and turn.
