Deadstar sighed "Well we can enjoy the Gathering while it lasts! With, or without them!"

Demonpaw watched as Deadsoul, one of her best friends, stormed off. "Poor Deadsoul," She shook her head sadly "Stupid WindClan cats think they're too good to be nice just because they beat off the Elite!"

Demonpaw nodded "Yeah the Elite attacked them a little while ago. It must not have been very well planned because even those fox-hearts beat them off. But only by a little!"

Demonpaw nodded evilly "With our eyes closed!"

Demonpaw smiled; she knew he wasn't an apprentice! He was far too small and undeveloped!

Brokenkit felt glad that Ebonykit had said that "I'm with her!" He called, raising to his paws.

Deadstar smiled at her "But we still need Eagleclaw, Blizzardleaf and, Shadowmist!" He sighed "Oh well!"

Brokenkit smiled "And I don't care what you do to me because I know it will only make me stronger!"

Demonpaw sat, watching it all go down until she couldn't take it anymore "Stop!" She yowled "This is a gathering! A night of peace! I can tell some of you are trying not to break the code but really? Fighting? Do you know nothing of the Code? Of what it means to be a true warrior?" She asked, eyes wide and mouth hanging open "Yes I'm an apprentice but I have the sense to stay true to the Warrior Code!"

Deadstar looked up and touched his nose to Whitefire's cheek before dashing over to join the other leaders.

Demonpaw smiled shortly at Raintail. "Stop!" She screeched "Of he is a real warrior than he can protect himself!" She stared harshly at Wishingfire "There is no bloodshed at a Gathering! And a good warrior would know that! Being a warrior isn't about fighting! It's about loyalty!"

Deadstar nodded his thanks "All has been well in FlameClan land. Prey has been running just fine and our herb supply strives. A new litter of kit was just brought into the world. Their mother Shadowmist is not joining us tonight but we praise her for all she has done to help us. We have, although, had some border issued with a neighboring Clan who call themselves RowanClan. Besides that, FlameClan is strong and healthy with plenty of warriors and a strong defense. That is all." He finished.

Demonpaw rolled her eyes "Thanks is for something you agree on!" She meowed, a sly look on her face.

Demonpaw felt a wave of satisfaction, but didn't let it show.

Brokenkit curled his tail around Shadowkit "Don't worry, I won't let her get you!" He whispered his promise "I'll take everything for you!"

Deadstar looked over to Wolfstar "That's quite a talent." He complimented "I understand you...live by dogs am I correct or was it just nursery tales?"

"Bye!" Demonpaw called after Raintail. She then turned her attention back to Bramblepaw, daring him to say something stupid.

Demonpaw sighed, this fool of an apprentice was going to get himself killed before he was a warrior. If he ever learned to be one!

Brokenkit smiled "I'd bring in my broken paw but I really don't want anything to ruin this." He purred "I'd die for you and you know it! If you died I'd die. So, don't die!"
