Character Name: Farro Emmerson (Because of the grain farro, also called emmer. see what i did there?? ;) )
Character Gender: Female
Character Picture/Description: Farro isn't very easy on the eyes. She's very tall at about 5'6", and rather flat-chested and thin. Her arms are muscular from working the fields, but she's otherwise not very strong. She's very tan and freckled from working the fields, and prior to the games, wasn't exactly a hairless wonder. Her face is peppered with pimples and freckles, and her nose is a little too big. Her dark brown hair is chopped off like a guy's, but more tangled. It's very curly. She has wide, sad-looking doe eyes, with dark brown irises.
Character Personality: Farro's pretty quick-witted and good with numbers. She's awful with names and dates though, and is very likely to forget your name, or at least go through a role call of family members, friends, and pets before she gets it right. Before the games, she was late for everything, and awful at remembering events. She even showed up a few minutes late to the reaping, barely arriving in time to hear her name called. She's usually pretty nice though, if she's a bit of a cry baby. However, she's actually pretty resistent to pain. It's only emotional issues that get her. A nick from a scythe, a scrape on the knee, and she waves it off. But a soppy movie, a sneer in the halls of school, and she's gone, blubbering and wailing like a child. She's also rather optimistic, and at least tries to see the bright side of things.
Prefered Weapon: Scythe, modern, European style. (Cliché and sort of dumb, I know, but it's what she'd use when farming grain :B) If not, just a simple knife is good. She carved and whittled wood as a hobby, and wasn't all that bad at it.
District: Nine, grains.
Other: She's pretty good at running, though she's more of a cross-country gal. Slow and steady wins the race, right? And, she's pretty good at tying knots from all her practice stooking the wheat.
