Why do you have to buy an animal from the store before you can RP one? I never quite got that.. .3.

"Oh hi." Frightful's yellow optics flicked up and down the dog as she circled halfway around it, then back the way she came. The golden eagle was never too sure about dogs. "I was wondering if I could join. Y'know. The Clan."

She ruffled her tawny colored feathers and shook the snow out of them to keep icy cold water from melting into her layer of protection too much. If they let dogs in, they better let birds join too.

"Um..." The bird searched her mind for an answer, her talons ticking as they tried to get a grip on a rock. She hadn't really prepared herself for such a question.

"Because... Well, I've been watching actually SnowClan for a while now, and I think it's pretty neat. What you're doing." Her grammar wasn't that good quite yet. "So I wanted to join."

Frightful dipped her head, her piercing yellow gaze still trained on the dog. She relaxed her tensed muscles now. "I'm Frightful. Nice to meet you, Popcorn."

The raccoon's tawny pelt was unique, different from any ordinary raccoon. So were her intentions. Most raccoons were intent on raiding cat's dens. Just like, attack all the cats they could.

But this raccoon was different. Instead of obeying the "laws" of her kind, she decided to observe these cats. They never attacked raccoon nests. Really, they didn't seem so bad at all. Instead of being all scattered, living alone, and fending for themselves, they lived together harmoniously, and seemed to never go hungry.

This is the reason that propelled Paradox to go beyond what any other raccoon that she ever knew had done. To join a Clan. In this case, ShadowClan. It seemed like a Clan worth joining.

Paradox was looking all day for any sign of a patrol or wandering ShadowClan cat. Of course she wouldn't go near the camp. That was out of the question. So she wandered more, and more, until she found one. Pulling herself out of the bushes, she chittered, "Hello?"

Frightful came into the scene, folding her broad, majestic wings as she landed. "Can I play too?" The Golden Eagle didn't know anyone yet, and maybe participating in the festival would help her fit in better.

Frightful was circling above, her broad wings that curled slightly at the tip as they sliced through the falling snow. A little morning winging never hurt anyone. But then she noticed something. Is that.. A wolf? Slowly, the golden eagle descended from her flight, eventually landing on a branch above them that caused snow to fall off right next to the lone wolf. "Hi! Are you alright?" Frightful shook the snow out of her long ruddy brown feathers, dipping her head to hear the wolf's reply.

Frightful greeted Mistyacceleration with a head dip, her wings held low to her side. "Hello, Mistyacceleration!" The golden eagle let out soft chirps of greeting. Maybe Mistyacceleration could be a friend!

ic: Frightful sort of hobbled in, her wings outstretched, not really being used to walking. It seemed she was the only golden eagle in the Clan. Oh well. "Can I join?"

Paradox blinked. "Yes I can.. Kinda." She nodded and flicked her fluffy tail, then added, "My name is Paradox, and I was actually wondering if I could join.." She cocked her head, her black and spotted white ears angled forward.

"Hunting, climbing, um.. Stealth," the raccoon replied.

"I'm Paradox. Nice to meet you, um, Slothpaw." Her black eyes sometimes turned to look around, then back at Slothpaw. "You.. Like it in ShadowClan?"

"Nice to meet you, Mosaicpaw." Frightful dipped her head again, her bright, golden yellow eyes gleaming.

The eagle turned her head to the kit. Sorry, she wanted to say. But she thought that would only agonize Eternitykit more. She thought it was the slight shrillness of her voice. Frightful just lowered her head and drooped her wings down.

Slowly, still in her least threatening position, Frightful took a small baby step towards Eternitykit and emitted a series of soft chirps.
