The white cat looked into the sky. She had white eyes, a curse that had been put into her family millions of moons ago. She faced the moon and sighed she was the sky cat, just as her mother was until she died and passed her power on to her, Moonface. Moonface remembered stepping on to air her first time after her long mourning for her mother. That was one of her most joyous moments of her life, walking in the sky. Moonface heard a rustle in the leaves behind her, she scented cat. "Who is there?" she asked.

A long furred gray she cat looked straight at Rainingtear "There is only one safe way that Starclan doesn't have to save you from" She meowed, her voice full of meaning. She glanced at the road Rainingtear wanted to go to and said "That's were it is, the wing cutter, cuts your wings straight off". The gray cat winced "That's how my brother died" she finished looking down at her paws.

"What are you doing kit" Moonface asked sympathetically . She looked at the kit carefully, she was amazed by the sadness in the kits eyes.

"The orb, that is unhealthy to carry it for very long you know, cats grow mad from it" She said. She shook her head "You must take turns with another cat in order to carry it safely, do you have a companion" she asked.
