Stella having a mate might make things a lot better for her. She was always so happy when she was with someone, it seemed.
But I understand about what might happen if her partner was to go inactive or die. That'd probably wouldn't help with the situation.
It should be totally up to you though, girl. c:
And maybe, if you didn't want to have a permanent thing, she could try dating?
"I will if you'd want to be my girlfriend," Domino answered, the smile painted on his face sticking. It was a nice feeling, knowing you loved someone and they loved you back. For a long time, he'd felt incomplete. Yes, he had some of the best friends in the world -- one of the best being Daminals --, but this was an incompleteness that even friendship could not fill. He hadn't realized this until now, apparently.
At this moment, Toxicpaw wasn't the only one experiencing a presence. The familiar and welcoming scent of herbs, warmth, and the heavens wreathed around him. It felt like another was with them but also not. Despite not quite knowing, he felt okay. This presence had a motherly charm about it. In the back of his mind, he wondered if this was perhaps his birth mother. That thought added more warmth to his smile.
ScarClan. That name struck a cord deep within him. His smile faded, replaced by a look of grief and pain. He could see a male snow leopard and two young kittens, one a dilute calico, the other a cream tabby with hints of white plain as day, He could feel himself weeping violently on the inside and trying desperately to hold everything in on the outside. He was a torrent of wild emotions. He could feel the breakdown coming... The kittens took one quizzical look back. He'd wiped their memories clean -- but had left a few, mistakenly, because of all the heartache. They had no idea who he was or why he was there or how important they were to him despite their gender.
"Who is that, Dad?"
"Let's discuss this later, okay?"
The breakdown. He'd turned and fled.
Then, it was over. He was staring at Tohru again.
"But... I-... I don't understand," Domino whispered to himself, obviously stirred by this account. Realizing how strange he looked with fur stood on end, eyes wide, talking to himself, he stopped. He let his fur settle and tried to calm his nerves.
"It doesn't ring a bell, no. Not the one you're referring to... Anything else?"
[if Dami is captured, Nammi, you know what that means... /whispers partners in crime.]
As Domino was pulled back towards the tiger, a percentage of him was grateful it would be more difficult for Forgottenpaw to attack. Still, he was by no means out of the woods. The tuxedo turned his head to get a good look at the DarkClan male. A plan began to form in his head, but it wasn't soon enough. Before he realized what was going on, Coriolanus' gigantic paw was hurtling towards his head.
When it collided with his skull, the Scully Boy was out like a light.
"Fine... I'm fine," Domino reassured her, offering a halfhearted smile as if to prove his weak point. He had more pressing matters to attend to. A castle. Discoveringmiracles resided in a castle, it seemed. "From what I've heard, the Dominion live in a castle..." Then, a small lightbulb went off in his head. "And, if I'm not mistaken, there is a Discoveringmiracles there, I think?"
"There's my favorite snow leopard," he commented, returning her grin. She seemed tranquil and happy at the moment. That was a good thing because he was as well. Still, it was almost rare to see her as at peace as she seemed to be right now. It was a pleasant surprise. He wondered what it could be from. If he had to guess, it was because of the slight lull in raids and attacks dealt to RadicalClan by larger Clans. It was a nuisance, like a horde of gnats buzzing around your head; it interpreted everything. He, too, was enjoying the minute time of "peace." Knock on wood, he told himself as he was a bit superstitious.
Domino chuckled lightly at his words above. "How've you been? Aside from the outrage of the raids and the bad things that've been going on in the Clan, I mean." He hadn't had much time to catch up with Daminals since his return. He hoped to begin that right now.
THE SPEED DATING IDEA IS FREAKING BRILLIANT.
OH, MY GOSH.
IT'S AWESOME.
There could be, like, a minimum of four posts between the two different characters or something since it it speed dating.
And food.
A drinks.
And auncosicoisahdowind
I love the idea c:
The affection in her voice confirmed their friendship was as strong as ever. His day was continuously getting better. He hadn't had a good day like this in, well, forever.
"Oh, yeah? I'm glad to hear that!" He was curious when she trailed off. It hinted at something more. The Deputy didn't seem too certain about the topic. Unsure though it didn't seem to bother her in the slightest. He raked his mind, wondering what on earth the cause of her happiness could be. He half wanted to figure it out on his own, but he also wanted to know right away. He was a little impatient, he'd admit. "If you don't mind my asking, what do you mean?" He raised one nonexistent eyebrow mid-sentence but continued smiling.
Then, Daminals spoke about he and Toxicpaw. A blush crept unto his features at the thought. He still couldn't believe that due in part with his being unsuccessful in the love scene. "Oh, uh, oh, yeah," Domino smiled sheepishly, looking down at his paws... or paw. Dami couldn't wink normally, Domino couldn't look down at his paws correctly. What could you do? "I actually wanted to tell you that today. It's... It's crazy. I mean, I never expected something like this, you know?"
[much tracks such ships
my muse has been a roller coaster, so no worries!]
Domino grinned. It wasn't like the grin he would give to newcomers or acquaintances. This smile was genuine and big, stretching ear to ear. He saved this smile for the happiest of occasions, and right now was certainly a happy occasion. It deserved his most heartfelt and goofy smile. "I suppose we are!"
"Oh, hey, are you able to get up and move around much?" He'd changed the subject, albeit it didn't mean he didn't want to discuss their relationship! No, that was quite the contrary. If she was able, he did have a surprise for her. Still, concern found its way into the question. He wanted to make sure Toxicpaw was okay. He didn't want to push her.
Domino nodded. "Ah, well, maybe we could look into more sometime. If you really wanted to figure it out, that is." He smiled to reassure her that they could eventually get this figured out if it was that important to Tohru. He'd do anything to help a friend. "Hey, while we're on the subject of knowing people; would you happen to know of a snow leopard by the of Lucifer? He did have multiple possession, so maybe he's not a snow leopard at all anymore. Anyhow, I knew him in a past life. He was... Troubling as fuck to say the least. I just don't want him to start pulling stunts again or something."
Equinox... That was his last name! Something boiled inside of him and he fought the urge to spit. The name had been eluding him for some moons. He felt half relieved and half revolted to finally have the missing piece. It was odd.
He took note of Tohru's pause. It could be mistaken for trying to think of something or recollect it. After all, Domino suspected that's what it was. He had no earthly idea that the melanistic serval was experiencing memories of her past life. However, what caught his attention was the name Fairypaw. His ears perked, disrupting the flower crown a bit. His viridian gaze took on a look of pain and longing. "How... I mean-" He stopped and tried to collect some rational thought. "You mean 'Fairypaw' as in Fairygarden, right? And... She didn't know you as a student. I'm not sure if she really knew you as a Radical, either." Surely she wasn't referring to the Fairygarden. She couldn't be...
"Great, that's good," Domino meowed, still smiling. "You won't need to run. And you can lean on me when you're not strong, and I'll be your friend, I'll help you carry on if you feel weak, or if it would be easier for you." He stood up, a song finding its way into his head. He listened to the lyrics in his mind and found they applied to the situation. It was amusing to say the least of it. The tuxedo waited patiently for Toxicpaw to stand, and he would move to help her if she struggled.

"Well, whatever the reason might be, I'm glad for it," the tuxedo voiced, smile continuing. He did hope, however, that it was not someone possessing her or manipulating her emotions. He'd had experience in this field, and it never went over well in the long run. If Daminals was to be happy, Domino wanted it to be a conscious choice. He wanted there to be a valid reason for the jubilance. It would be heartfelt that way, not thrust upon her, unwillingly.
He returned the nudge she gave him when they returned to he and Toxicpaw. At the mention of everyone having seen it coming, his checks were flushed. "You're kidding me... Am I really that slow?" Actually, the male wasn't that surprise. He'd always been sort of blind when it came to realizing other's feelings toward him. At times, he could also be blind to his own feelings or what he wasn't feeling rather. That much had been true when he thought he'd loved Renee, the healer student. That, he soon realized, was more of an adoration than love. It was during those times that he wasn't aware of his feelings for Toxicpaw. Now he was certain of those feelings more than ever. "But thank you. It's good to know my friend supports it. So, what about you?"

Palumpaw?
Memories flew threw his mind though they were not technically his own. It shook him to his core. He hadn't expected anything like this. Of course, he hadn't gotten an official rule book on these sorts of things. He had no idea how they worked. Reincarnation was an extremely difficult topic. One was either reborn into another body with no recollection of their past life whatsoever while they occasionally received memories and dreams, or one was reborn and knew everything. The latter was almost like having multiple possession or shape shifting. This case was of the former. This case was linked to his.
They were... Family.
"That's... That's crazy," Domino breathed. He was almost lost for words. Everything was happening so fast and all at once. His heart drummed against his chest like a caged bird who fought to free itself. It was just like when the elder tom-cat told him about his own reincarnation. Things didn't make compete sense, yet they didn't not make sense. "Torhu, I'm... I'm pretty certain that, uh, well, I'm pretty sure you might be the reincarnation of Palumpaw."

Wouldn't Paperclip almost be two years? Or close to it, anyway.
Stella was still a student when they were born.

I JUST SAW THAT I DIDN'T REPLY TO THE TOXIMO LITTER IDEA. (/w\)
I'd read it and was planning on replying, but I'm so scatterbrained, I swear.
Anyhow, I love the idea of it! Domino would feel better about it if they were both at the age of becoming Radicals. Technically, he is given the fact that he's a moon or two older than Toxi, but he'd still want her to be a Radical before she made the choice. Or, well, we did.
But I'm still on board for it!! <3]
"See, you'll be better in no time! We've got a great medical team here. And, since you know about these things, you'll be healed quicker, I just know it." Domino did tend to be optimistic with these sort of things. Whether it be because he'd experienced them himself or because he didn't want others to feel down. Whatever the reason, the Scully Boy thought optimism helped everyone out. It was a hopeful outlook on life. And, he would admit he wasn't always this way. So, when he did feel like the glass was half full instead of half empty, he embraced it.
The tuxedo started for the exit of the infirmary. His pace was slow enough that Toxicpaw wouldn't have to hobble quickly after him. He was a patient soul. He didn't mind waiting for her one bit.

"I just know, alright? I mean, it's... What other explanation do you have for it? Why else on Earth would you have those memories-?" The male was about to explain what he knew about Palumpaw when she exclaimed she'd found a journal of some kind left behind by the tom-cat. 'That sounds about right. He would've done that sort of thing. Especially since a lot of members in RadicalClan kept one. It wasn't surprising.' "Really?" He held onto his next question for a few quick minutes. Domino didn't want to get his hopes up. He also didn't want to sound pushy. "Do you still have it? If you did, would you mind if I took a look at it?" It might hold keys for him as well as Tohru. Plus, Dragonflybeat had never gotten to know him that well. It was a heartache while she was alive. She regretted it, even if he was male. He might be able to discover things for her in this life... Or discover things for himself. Themselves? Ah, he didn't know how that worked.
