Cloverpaw crouched into a hunters crouch. A mouse scuffled among the undergrowth. Suddenly a twig snapped and the mouse ran away. "Mouse Dung!" She whispered. Her mentor Dawnpelt had died two days ago in a battle with Riverclan and needs a new one.

Cloverpaw stalked a mouse in the undergrowth. Suddenly a twig snapped and the mouse scurried away. "Fox Dung!" she meowed. Cloverpaw's mentor died two days earlier in a battle with Shadowclan.

Honey, a pretty golden she cat loner, sniffed the air for prey. She had been to Shadowclan territory earlier, but got chased away. Scared and lonely Honey sat by the lake and stared into her reflection.

Cherrykit padded out of the nursery to Flamekit. "Hi are you ok?" Cherrykit meowed gently.

Flamepaw, a dark ginger tom with amber eyes, was walking back to camp when he scented the sour smell of blood. Flamepaw dropped his prey and ran over to a hole where a she cat lay inside.

Breezefur chased a rabbit through Windclan territory. He passed the border into Thunderclan. Breezefur slowly began to stop running scenting the air. Oh no I have crossed the border! he thought to himself.

Flamepaw tried to find a way to clamber down into the hole and noticed a less steep path he could take down to the she cat. He slowly made his way down the path. He prodded the she cats side. "Are you ok?" his eyes filled with concern.

Breezefur slowly tried to sneak away to the Windclan border but stepped on a twig and it made a loud snapping noise.

"Don't worry I'll get you out." Flamepaw meowed soothingly and bit down on her scruff and pulled her out of the hole and laying her on some soft moss.

Leaf fought to keep her head above the water and was constantly being dragged into the depths of the water. "Help!" the kit cried out feebly.

Honey sprung up onto her paws and turned around startled. "H-hi I am um Honey. Please dont hurt me!" Honey's eyes were wide with fear.

Honey's fur lied flat and her violet eyes grew calmer. "Hi Hailshine. Sorry its just that some mean cat attacked me that way," she pointed her tail towards the Shadowclan border, "and they gave me a nasty cut on my shoulder." She twisted around to show him the cut on her shoulder.

"Well thank you for being so kind to me," purred Honey. Honey's wound started to bleed again.She winced turning to look at her shoulder.

Honey winced a little bit, but then relaxed. "Thank you," Honey mewed gratefully. Honey felt a drop of water on her nose and realized it started to rain.

"No problem." He purred. " Do you think you could tell me what happened?" He encouraged pressing cobwebs on her wounds. "What clan are you from?"

Honey wondered how he could sleep outside in the open, but kept her mouth shut. Honey nodded. "Race you to it!" Honey meowed with a playful glint in her eyes.

Honey eyes widened. How did he run so fast! Honey thought. She laughed and sped up. She ran along side him and turned her head to look into his eyes and giggled with happiness.

"I'm from Thunderclan...I crossed the border when I scented the smell of blood. And I'm Flamepaw by the way...Whats your name?" Flamepaw asked curiously gazing into her eyes.

Honey came to a stop as they got closer to the badger den and panted heavily. "Wow, your really fast!" Honey exclaimed with amusement in her eyes.

Honey sat down and curled her tail around her paws. She sighed "Well I was born in a barn not far from here.. I had a sister named Leaf, but she died when a badger attacked me and my family.It killed my sister and mom. I escaped and ran away to live on my own for a long time...I finally got so lonely that I heard stories about wildcats in the forest, so I came to make friends...no one has been very friendly..except for you." She explained with a sigh.
