Rebus cocked his head, listening to the story. "Well, you never know. There might be cats living there. We should try to look for a place less... beautiful and tempting."

Fable nodded. "Fine with me. I'll jus have to go back and get the two things I left there..."

Rebus sighed. "Ok, then. You go get your items and meet me at the top of that hill," He flicked his tail to a nearby hill. "By the end of the hour. Ok?"

"Yes, sure you can stick with us." Rebus mewed as Fable dashed off to the cave to get her things. Foolish trinkets, in Rebus's mind. "I'm going to look for a good place for us to live."

Fable ran, ran as fast as she could, back to the cave. The she-cat paused at the entrance. It would be ok. She would run in, get her items, and get out. What Rebus had said about other cats living there might be true.

Ortheus padded into the camp's clearing. The tom glanced around. What needed to be done? He turned his gaze to the sky before realizing how thirsty he was. I'll go find some water. He thought to himself before dashing away, looking for a stream.

Fritz jumped as a mouse landed next to her. "Um... thanks." She whispered, gulping down the tiny meal in huge, famished mouthfuls.

"So... um..." Copper was unsure as how to keep the conversation going.

Creamtail sat down, licking one paw and drawing it over her ear.

Ortheus ran through the trees until he came to a tiny stream. He dipped his head to the water, drinking quickly. He scented Shadow. Maybe he had just been here? The tom couldn't tell.

Fritz paused when she noticed Shadow watching her. She decided to ignore him and finished quickly, giving her paws a lick before standing up and pacing around her cage.

"Well, come on then. Look for a sheltered space with water and safety." Rebus mewed, picking up the bird as he started to walk in the other direction than the way Fable had gone.

Fable took a peek into the cave. Her things were still there! She picked them up and ran off, back to Rebus and Nadie. She had ran as fast as she could, and was out of breath.

Fritz looked up. "Fine." She sat down and instead began staring at a very nice looking crack in the stone wall. Oh, how she wished it would break so she could escape!

Ortheus made his way back to camp and sat down in the camp, examining the walls and celing and faintly hearing something in one of the other rooms.

"It depends." Rebus meowed. "We might." He glanced over to a rocky cliff face. "Let's head there."

Fable followed, walking a little bit strangely so she could hold all three items in her jaws. "Do you think we'll find a waterfall with a rainbow?" She asked the other two cats.

Fritz kept staring at the crack, following it upward until it reached the ceiling.

Ortheus licked one paw and drew it over his ear. "Hello, Shadow." He mewed, seeing the other thief come within sight. "Is the prisoner doing that strange thing with the wall again?"

OOC: Ok. Am I being realistic enough? I was thinking that when the cats got to the cliff they would realize that it was very impossible to climb up.

"Hah! Waterfalls and rainbows? Maybe, but maybe not. You never can be too sure." Rebus said as the cliff got closer.

Fable sighed. "Ok, ok. But really, where are we going to live? Because when I see that cliff, I'm not too sure about climbing it. It's just so... steep!"

Ortheus sighed. "That's all she ever seems to do." The tom replied, smiling as Shadow walked off to check the crack.

Fritz kept a watchful gaze of Shadow as he checked the crack. I hope they don't fix it. She thought. Then how else would I get water? It's the only source! Whenever there was a storm, water always dripped through the crack, giving the orange tabby an exciting experience.

"Yes, that would work." Rebus agreed. "Do you have any idea of where to look?"

"Um... no." Fable shook her head. "Maybe we could try on the far side of the island?"

Fritz jumped back to the other side of her cage as some brown dark thing was stuffed in the crack. Oh, well. She thought. At least I still have water! The tabby smiled, laying on her back and watching the crack. I wish it would rain right now.

Ortheus sighed. We need something to eat eventually, right? He asked himself. Then go hunt! The black tom got to his paws and dashed away.

"Um... I think so." Stratuskit stumbled out of the tunnel. "Thanks for helping me."

Fritz watched the sky. It looks like the sun is setting. She thought to herself. I'm glad. The she-cat could tell by the way the blue had gotten a tiny bit fainter.

Ortheus sniffed the air. Squirrel! Great. He thought as he started to follow the trail, winding his way stealthily through the undergrowth.

Fable nodded. "You're right." She kept walking, realizing just how thirsty she was. "Water definitely isneeded."

Rebus glanced up at the sky. What time was it? A haze of trees obscured his view, and he couldn't tell.

"Yea." Stratuskit grinned. "At least it's fun, right?" He mewed as he licked one paw and drew it over his ear.

Copper nodded. "I like it, too." He loved everything about Vortexclan's camp, from the leaves on the trees to the ground beneath his paws.
