OOC: It does? On which forum? It's not supposed to...

IC: "I'm really happy for you, that you found your family again." Aura said. "I know that you miss your mother, but on the other hand, you have a father now. And your mother would want you to be happy." She put a comforting arm around Feawen's shoulder.

Ripplepaw walked into the elder's den. "Hi." she said, smiling at Sunsplash. "I hope you don't mind some company." The young apprentice like talking to just about anyone, and elders often told her interesting tales and stories. Most of the other apprentices thought she was daft to spend time with the elders, but they didn't know what they were missing out on. And anyway, most of the elders appreciated her visits, which was reason enough to come, as far as Ripplepaw was concerned.

Ripplepaw giggled again. She too hated it when cats snored and could sympathise with Sunsplash. "A mouse. Right. Be back in a moment." With that, she hurried out of the elders den and to the freshkill pile, where she picked out a nice mouse to bring to Sunsplash. She went back the the den and walked in quietly, careful not to wake Talltail, and placed the mouse in front of Sunsplash. "Here you go." she said with cheerful smile.

OOC: No, I don't think I did. And I don't recall me ever showing my age anywhere, not on any forum. Maybe you got me mixed up with someone else? ???

IC: "Well...it's still a ways off. If we could find horses, that would make the trip much faster. I think we'll be passing through the east side of Rohan. Maybe we could find some horses there. Although, I've never heard of a Rohirric rider willing to give up even a single one of his horses, unless it's for someone really important." She sighed. "We'll see, I guess."

"Lousy." Ripplepaw grumbled. "My mentor is always too busy. She taught me to hunt, and a bit of fighting, but since then, it's like she's forgotten that I even exist. She's been busy, so I guess it's understandable, but it's still annoying. I wish someone would just give me a new mentor, one that has time for me."

    OOC: Yeah, no biggie. lol

IC: "Like I said, the Rohirric have horses, so finding them shouldn't be too difficult. It's convincing them to part with their beloved steeds that will be the problem." Aura sighed, wishing there was an easier way to get horses. They didn't even have money to buy them.

Aura shrugged, unconvinced. "Maybe..." She stood up checked the fire again.

OOC: Bah, sorry, writers block, as well as mental block. I spent the whole morning catching up on schoolwork. >.<
Anyway, when do you want to bring the boys back? Also, in the Minas Tirith thread, I think we should give it a bit of a break to let some other people post, cause I don't really want to take over the whole thread, you know? Once I was told this: "I'll let a little time pass before I post in the thread, just so there's room for others to post in between our posts. It's not a firm rule, but a small courtesy to not post back-to-back in a thread (though if time passes and nobody else posts, I would say that it's safe to post even back-to-back, rather than letting the thread stagnate)."

OOC: Umm, why don't you send me the link and I can take a look, see if I want to do it.

IC: Aura shrugged. "Depends on how long it takes them to catch a couple of rabbits." she said. "Shouldn't be too long."
As if in answer to her words, two figures appeared out of the forest. Aura stood up. "Oh, here they are!" She waved, and Alric waved back. Aura could see him holding two rabbits. Ugh, she hoped she wouldn't have to be the one to prepare them...

OOC: Maybe... thanks for the link. I might join as a bandit, not sure yet. And yeah, poor bunny indeed. >,<

IC: Alric grinned at Feawen. "Miss me much?" he asked teasingly, ruffling her hair. Then, he looked at Aura. "Do you happen to have a knife I can use?" He lifted the two rabbits. Aura grimaced in distaste and pulled out her dagger. "Here. Just clean it when you're done." Alric chuckled and exchanged the bow for the knife. Aura took her bow and careful unstrung it, checking it over just to make sure it was fine.

    OOC: I joined.

IC: "Let's go get some water for the pot while the boys take care of the boyish stuff." Aura said to Feawen, and both a grimace and a laugh. She picked up her half-empty water skin and went to the river bank. The water rushed by, and Aura stood for a moment, just listening to the sound. Then, she knelt down and carefully stuck out her water skin to fill it, making sure that she wouldn't fall in.

OOC: Lol, I forgot about the frog.

IC: Alric shrugged. "It's a girl thing, I guess." He himself never had any trouble killing, whether it was orcs, or animals, or, on the rare occasion when it was necessary, people. He looked back to Feandur. "Well, Aura's knife will have to do for now, but sooner or later, we'll get you another knife, alright?"

Aura frowned too. "They kill the rabbits because they have to eat. Don't you like eating rabbit stew, or a fish dinner, or other meat?" Aura herself never liked meat, both becuase she couldn't stand the idea of animals dying to feed her, and because she simply disliked the taste of most meat.
