"Thankyou" said Eeltail gratefully. "We do eat fish, but I've never minded water vole!"

Eeltail glanced at the queen, seeing that she was deep in thought. "There are plenty of Toms in Riverclan. One will eventually suit you" she mewed. "Ravensoul was my mate" she purred sadly, grief evident in her eyes. "He died in the new-leaf floods, and left me with his kits" She licked her growing belly, hoping that the kits would look like their father.

Bluestorm stared at the ground, unfazed. "They will heal" he mewed tartly.

"Thankyou" mewed Peartail, settling in the lower branches of the tree.

Eeltail leaned over Olivenose. "The kits will be coming soon, and Darkstorm is here. Hold on for just a few more minutes!"

"Mmmm" Eeltail crouched as best she could and swatted at a water vole. She picked it up in her jaws.

"SSHHHH!" hissed Eeltail. "Those kits have already tired her out enough!"

Eeltail looked up into the stars. "We are the only one's with the power to stop them!"

Eeltail dipped her head. "I hope Pebblepaw and the new kits will be great warriors. In my opinion, Photoflash is too harsh of a deputy. When he becomes Photostar, I hope he settles down. Have you met Rangerstar yet?"

"Good!" Eeltail purred, the water up to her belly. She dived and resurfaced with a carp in her jaws.

" I hate to think about scars that deep in the real world!" Bluestorm shuddered.

"Yes! He went missing last year for about 2 moons, but he came back!" Purred Eeltail.

(I know they are!) "Nice catch" purred Eeltail.
