Ravenpelt had eaten her fill and she licked the blood off her mouth. Then she began grooming her fur.

(Nightfur is a she-cat with bluish- black fur and deep blue eyes. She is kind of shy and quiet at first.)
Nightfur lay in the warrior's den, trying to get some rest. She was very tired but, couldn't seem to fall. She just couldn't find a comfortable position to lay down. Nightfur tried to thinking to tire her mind out. 'I really want to be a mother and have kits but, I don't have a mate. All my siblings have mates. Maybe, somethings wrong with me. No, none of the toms like me. At least, none that I know of. What am I thinking? I will never have a mate I shouldn't even be getting my hopes up,' she thought. She still couldn't fall asleep. "I'll probably won't be able to stay awake tomorrow," Nightfur meowed quietly to herself.
-
Sure, I don't mind.
-
'Why is Sirenclaw up late at night? Why am I asking this? I'm also up,' Nightfur thought. "Hey, Sirenclaw," She meowed quietly. "Are you okay?"
-
"I can't seem to get to sleep, even though I'm incredibly tired," Nightfur replied. "I just don't get it." She sighed. "I see what you mean about the calmness of night. The darkness and quiet just seems so relaxing," she added.
-
"Ok," Nightfur meowed. She padded over to Sirenclaw and lay down next to him.
-
Nightfur did as she was told. She could hear the wind gently blowing and Sirenclaw breathing next to her.
-
Nightfur gently placed her head on her paws and took deep, slow breathes.
-
"Yes," Nightfur replied, softly. Finally, she felt comfortable. She purred faintly.
-
Ravenpelt yawned. She still felt a bit tired but, she was ready to start the day.
-
Ravenpelt padded up to Wolfeyes, who had no luck finding the kit. "I guess we have no choice but, to ask the leader if we can search the territory for her," Ravenpelt said, sadly.

(Snowfur is a she-cat with short, white fur, yellow eyes, and is kind, sweet, and honest.)
A white she-cat, Snowfur, lay inside the warriors den. She was busy thinking. 'I have spent enough of my life without a mate and now I am ready to have one,' Snowfur thought. 'I wonder if any of the toms would want me as their mate.'
-
Snowfur looked at Phantomstripe and smiled. "Hey Phantomstripe," she meowed in greeting. "How are you?"
-
"That's good," Snowfur said. She groomed the fur on one of her front legs.
-
"I'm doing fine," Snowfur replied. "Thanks for asking." Happiness gleamed in her eyes.
-
"It sure is," Snowfur replied. She looked up into the sunny sky.
-
"I hope Swallowstripe's kits are healthy," Snowfur said. She purred and then added,"And you're right about it being the perfect time to have kits."
-
"I hope so, she will naturally be a good mother," Snowfur said.
-
"That's true," Snowfur said. "She'll know exactly what to do." She looked the sky a few seconds and looked back at Phantomstripe. "I wonder how many kits she will have," she said.
-
That's ok about the late response.
Ravenpelt glanced at Shadowstrike, hoping that the she-cat wouldn't came back over. She looked back at Heronwing. "As long as she doesn't give us any more trouble, we shouldn't have a problem with her," she said.
