[fancypost borderwidth=0px]It was getting rather late, and yet the Head Enforcer could be found walking through one of the trails into the forest nearby the village. He was thinking a lot. About his mother and his father and his family and his nostalgia and old SunClan and everyone who'd gone or left, and god, it was kind of overwhelming.
So he merely continued to walk, trying to take off some of the stress and dismiss some of the many thoughts on his mind. But it was not long at all when he noticed a tall, seemingly glowing golden figure standing in the distance. Actually, it appeared to be a lion- was that- was that... Ardon?
For those who would not know, Ardon was a god who once helped return SunClan's memories when they had been stolen by another god, and had later made Magni one of his angels. And now he was here, back in SunClan?
He found himself beginning to speed up a little, curious to see what the god was doing here. Was he dreaming? Magni was pretty sure he wasn't. Did that mean something was urgent? Growing more and more concerned by the second, the wolf soon found himself speed-walking towards the lion.
Magni finally came to a halt before the huge golden creature, his jaws beginning to part in order to speak when Ardon flicked a furry tail across his mouth, which caused him to abruptly shut them once more in surprise.
"Hush, Magni. I know what you are thinking, and I have come not for any bad reasons," the lion rumbled, even smiling a little. The white-furred canine finally relaxed letting out a big breath of air in his relief.
Before he could reply, the god spoke once more. "I actually come with a mission for you, as one of my angels, along with a gift."
Pfft. He remembered Ardon's last gift- a body and wings. Great gift, right? "No offense, Ardon, but you aren't exactly the best gift-giver," Magni pointed out with a little smirk before he grew a little more serious once more, shifting the topic to ask, "So, what's this mission?"
He'd had few missions in the past, despite being an angel, so the male didn't really know what to expect. He was still a fairly new angel, to be fully honest. The SunClanner watched the god expectantly as the behemoth cleared his throat.
"It seems more demons are escaping to running rampant upon the earth in recent months. I plan to investigate this, however in the mean time I want you to hunt these demons, and slay them." Before Magni could speak in reply to this, Ardon added, "This is where your gift comes in."
The Head Enforcer looked at his questioningly for a moment, unsure what that meant or whether he should ask. However, it was before he could even begin to say anything that the lion, smiling a little to himself, motioned towards some sort of item at his paws. "Merry Christmas, Magni."
There were two items, actually, of which Magni had not noticed before. Had they just appeared? They'd have had to. One was a sword, and the other it's matching scabbard, with a strap to go across his shoulders.
His attention was first drawn to the blade itself. It was bright and shinning and silver, the blade covered in strange engravings. The grip of the hilt was blue, and the guard and pommel gold and embedded with various gems.
Gaze drifting to the scabbard, which was also carved with various depictions, he slowly reached out- glancing up at Ardon first, as if looking for permission- before he took it up, sliding it over one shoulder so it fitted across his chest, the sheath pressing against the inside of his leg.
Picking up the sword next, he admired it closer, it's weight perfect. Magni ran his paws across the flat side, noticing the engravings appeared to be in some sort of foreign language (which he intended to look into later), and the entire thing glowed a dim gold. Ardon, whom had seated himself by this point, was watching him fondly, all but silent until he finally spoke up and said, "It's name is Excalibur."
Magni’s head shot up almost immediately. “Like, the Excalibur?” Even he had heard of it- it was arguably the most popular of magical swords of fiction. Or, perhaps, not of fiction?
The lion chuckled slightly. "Perhaps. There is a spirit inside who claims to be. It also has many powers, but now that I have given it to you, Magni, it should answer to you and only you, and is yours forever until you die. You have a... connection with it, per se."
Wait, wait, wait, wait. Spirits? Powers? Connections? He peered at it even closer now, copper eyes narrowed slightly. So there was someone up inside this thing? Should he... talk to it? "Er... hello?" the wolf spoke into it rather hesitantly.
'Greetings, master.'
The white-furred canine nearly jumped out of his own skin as the voice rang through his mind. So, telepathy, huh? He shook his head to himself a bit, unable to help but grin. This was insane. But it was cool. Like, really *ing cool.
Ardon suddenly rose once more, shaking out his mane a little before his golden-hued gaze fixated on Magni. "I must return now, but I shall check on you soon. Use Excalibur well for your mission, and it will teach you many things in return."
And with that he was just... gone. Faded away with the wind, by either invisibility or some other strange force. Honestly, Magni didn't feel like questioning it at the moment. He was simply staring at his new sword, a huge, dorky grin on his maw. Taking in a deep breath, the male shook his head a bit and slipped it gently into the scabbard.
Boy, he was gonna have a lot of fun with this thing.
/this was longer but then i accidentally deleted the ENTIRE THING and had to re-type it all and it's like midnight and i can't remember and asdjfhggjkl sorry this was rlly bad lmao
[fancypost borderwidth=0px]"Mutie, don't repeat that word," Magni said, looking a little strained as he padded towards the kitten and the stranger,. Of course, he would have no right to talk about foul language, as he himself cursed like a sailor, but he tried to avoid it around the kids, since two-month-olds shouldn't be going around saying things like 'fuck'. With a tired sigh, the sword-carrying wolf's copper gaze returned to Karkat, awaiting a reply.
[fancypost borderwidth=0px]Since he had this, er, weapon now, Magni figured he might as well try and get good at using it. He'd slipped the blade out of his scabbard, gripping the hilt in his mouth and now now stabbing wildly at a poor tree, attempting to get used to holding it and using it.
Excalibur hadn't really spoken to him much since he'd received the magical sword/ Clearing his throat a little, Magni decided to see if he could find out anything more about it. "So, what're these powers that you have?" he asked around the part he had held in his teeth.
He was talking to a sword. This probably looked a little insane.
'Telepathy, molecular manipulation, invisibility, the ability to absorb spirits, and the ability to take away pain.'
And the sword was talking back telepathically. Even better.
Huh. Interesting. Magni slashed at the tree once more, leaving a deeper gouge in the bark. "So, what can you do with the ability to take away pain? You're a sword, right? How does that help anyone?" he asked with his teeth still wrapped around the hilt, muffling his words.
'I cannot transfer wounds, as a living creature would, but I can take away the pain of the wound so that you cannot feel it while battling.'
"Whoa, really?" he said, obviously impressed. Dropping the broadsword, the wolf mused, "You know, I'm kind of tempted to try that out."
'Sir, I do not think that would be wi-'
"Too late," replied the SunClanner, as he had already flicked the back of his paw against the sharp edge of the blade, and almost immeadiately a stinging sensation arose. However, upon pressing the paw to it once more, the pain faded. "That is really, really cool," Magni breathed mostly to himself before he added, "Anything else I should know about you?"
'I possess over thousands of years of knowledge and also glow in the presence of demons.'
Taking up the sword between his jaws once more, he would reply with a muffled 'good to know'. He raised the blade, slashing at the trunk of the tree once more, violently hacking at the bark.
[fancypost borderwidth=0px]Hearing the kitten's approach, Magni would drop the blade and turn to face her, the slight stinging sensation returning as he stopped touching the sword. Refraining from wincing, he chose to focus on Mutie's question, glancing from the kitten to the sword that was now at his paws. "Er, I guess you can," the Head Enforcer said with a shrug, scratching his head a little. He wasn't sure if Excalibur would reply, but she could try it.
[fancypost borderwidth=0px]Oh, God. Another one gone? The high positons were dropping like flies- how many were left? Other than the medic team and the deputies, the only active ones he could recall were Fargo, Alaskanpaw, Bonepaw, and himself. Was that it? Sure it was the holiday season, but half of their team had died or gone or well, just disappeared within the last few weeks.
Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, Magni struggled to focus on what was currently happening, knowing he needed to focus on the issue at hand. Glancing towards his mother, it seemed no one had followed her orders yet, and so the sword-wielding angel would volunteer, "I'll fetch him." And with that he was gone, bounding away to find the young medic.

WHAT IS IT?
According to Magni's religion, there are three layers of the world- the overworld (where good spirits reside), the middleworld (aka earth), and the underworld (where bad spirits/demons live). There were also once three Gods, one for each world: Ardon, Elios, and Ovrin. Ovrin and Ardon were known for fighting, and Elios was sort of the mediator. Elios died, and his body them formed life on earth. However, without him, there is no longer anyone to keep Ardon and Ovrin from fighting. The two gods are constantly at war, and because earth is between their two realms, often their battles are taken to the middleworld, where life resides.
WHO IS ARDON?
He is often seen as 'the good guy', due to his realm being that of the good. He is known for interfering most with the lives on earth- helping them, sending messages and omens, making angels, etc etc. He can appear as anything, as his form varies upon what each person wishes to see him as. So, y'know, if you wanted him to be a talking rock, that's what he'd appear as to you. To Magni, he appears as a lion.
AND THE OTHER GUY?
Ovrin is usually thought of as 'the bad guy'. Seen as very mischievous, as he had a thing for toying with the creatures of earth. He once stole all of SunClan's memories, and Ardon returned them. He also has the ability to create demons. However, little else is know about 'the dark god', as well as no one quite knows what form he takes.
SO, MAGNI'S AN ANGEL?
Yes, though more of an honorary one. He has never visited the overworld nor the underworld, and remains on earth to do Ardon's work and complete missions he is given. He has an angelic form (his white wolf body) and used to have wings, however they were ripped from his back by a demon.
WHAT ABOUT HIS SWORD?
Magni possesses the sword Excalibur, a magical weapon with a spirit inside of it that allows it to have certain powers. Magni actually has a character bond with the spirit inside, and hence the sword itself, and the sword is attached to his own spirit until his soul permanently dies. It is said this is one of many magical items.
CAN MY CHARACTER FOLLOW ARDON OR OVRIN?
Yes!
CAN MY CHARACTER INTERACT WITH THEM?
Your character is allowed to believe in them, but you cannot play either one of them interacting with your character, as they are technically my characters. You can, however, pm me and ask for a thread with your character encountering either god.
CAN MY CHARACTER BE AN ANGEL OR DEMON?
Yes! If you are really interested in this, feel free to pm me and we can plot! (8

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]Well, that made two old fools then, didn't it? The alabaster wolf would approach the group, leather strap across his neck that held his sword, Excalibur, at his side. Copper gaze resting on the newcomer he nodded slowly in confirmation of Mutie's words. "Right- welcome to SunClan," the canine greeted, even mustering a small smile in his attempt to be friendly. Clearing his throat a little, Magni then added politely, "I'm Magni, by the way. Pleasure to meet you; would you like a tour or anything?"
[fancypost borderwidth=0px]yep we still have the mafia theme
captains definitely sounds good!!
(if we really wanted to keep with the old ranks we could do consigliere which was an old one but idk if that fits as well as something like captain)
[fancypost borderwidth=0px]who makes??

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]/s creams tmi!!!!
Magni had a pet once- a hedgehog named Chad, whom he'd had when he was only a kit. He wasn't sure what had happened to Chad, but he'd never had another pet since. Actually, did Excalibur count as a pet? He figured he should, since he could talk and interact and had powers, even if he were stuck in a sword.
'If I may, sir, I am much more intellectual than a mere pet.'
The telepathic voice in his head caused the Head Enforcer to jump a little, still not entirely used to someone else randomly talking in his head. Of course, Fargo talked telepathically, but usually it wasn't as... sudden. Nor was Fargo usually snooping in his thoughts.'
Glancing towards the sword, Magni huffed a little and thought back, 'You kind of are. You called me master the other day, right?'
'Correct, however, I would much prefer the term 'companion'.'
Smiling a little inwardly, the canine shook his head a little, focusing back on the others instead. He'd been sort of lost in his conversation with his, er, companion. A hawk? Brow furrowing a little, he peered over the others took get a look at the bird, wondering what they planned to do with it. Wasn't it prey? Shouldn't they eat it?
[fancypost borderwidth=0px]The white wolf had somehow found himself sitting on his porch, doing... well, nothing. Excalibur was placed safely within its sheath, which was tucked beneath him and was pressing against his foreleg. The male himself was 'resting his eyes' as he liked to call it, eyelids closed but not exactly asleep. He was just sitting there, thinking to himself finding the silence around him peaceful. However he doubted things would stay so serene for long- they never did, in SunClan. It was their greatest strength and also their greatest weakness- everyone was so goddamned friendly.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]Magni had never been a fan of parties, nor most social gatherings in general. Nonetheless, here he was- for whatever reason. The white wolf had slipped over silently, and was now hanging off to the side rather awkwardly. Copper eyes narrowed and lips turning downwards in a slight frown, the Head Enforcer simply stood there, watching the others with a furrowed brow.
